Looking around the room, Gryffen doesn't see much objection to his ideas. He drums his fingers on the arm of his chair. "I'll need to scale the building, so a grappling hook and some silk rope. In fact, that is what I will leave up there. Between securing the grapple, climbing the wall, and pulling up the rope, I should need about 20 seconds solitude. It won't take too much of a distraction to let me slip up the wall. Before moving on, though, what do you all want waiting for you on the roof that I should take with me?"
"What time of day would be best for your ascent master monk?" looking at Gryffen now Gideon was fully on board with the plan now the wine being pushed to one side. "I'm at your disposal should you need me"
The half-elf's eyebrows knit together as Dejan casually mentions knowledge of her schemes. Making a mental note to find out how he knows of her alter ego, she turns her mind back to the matter at hand.
"We will need a second rope and grapple for getting in and out of the annexe itself, which can act as a backup should something happen to the first, and maybe a crowbar should the locks prove uncooperative. I will be taking with me my lockpicks, sending stone, and the sleeping oil, so will be unarmed and unarmored. Perhaps you gentlemen will bring some weapons with you, should everything suddenly go south?"
"So we know where Ophelia will be, the companion to her prospective husband touring the museum, the guards will be bribed to ensure privacy - we have the means to render our suitor unconscious and we have identified how to get equipment onto the roof of the annexe. We need to clearly define the following; How does Ophelia get out the jewels, and then how does she get out of the annexe? Where are each of the rest of you positioned, and what specifically are your roles? Are we happy to focus on this one attempt or do we try and cause distractions with other actions. Once everybody has performed their task, how do they extract themselves safely from the area and reconvene with the others?" Dejan continues, making notes as he does in a small book. "I suggest that you Ophelia may need some help to get through the locks and escape without the guards being alerted too quickly. This means as soon as the Lordling hits the floor Ophelia has to open the hatch and at least one of you drops in with a rope to climb out with attached up on the roof. The other rope will already be secured and ready to go over the other side to get down to street level on the far side of the museum, giving you exit routes to the north." Looking around the group expectantly "Is there anything else you have already decided on and we should factor in. At the moment this is essentially a two man mission if Gryffen stays up on the roof, how can the others aid the proceedings. Both Kai and Gideon have their own skills that could be of great benefit."

"I am a fighter my lord thievery is not in my skill set, I am struggling to see how I can be employed" Gideon pauses thinking slightly before continuing "what if I was to be Ophelia's bodyguard, accompany her to the museum and wait outside, I could distract the guards with dice and talk, maybe even some wine. I do have a suggestion however, what if Ophelia helps remove the items to the roof and then rejoins her, prospective husband, being herself applied with whatever the suitor is also being knocked out with. That way I could carry you away as your guard and escape in plain sight"
"Well,"says Gryffen, "Now that is interesting. I climb to the roof, perhaps the night before, and wait. Ophelia tours the museum and steals the items. Gideon will serve as a distraction while Ophelia does her job and deliver the goods to me. I escape when it is most convenient, or even drop the items for Kai to walk away with. Gideon and Ophelia are also victims of the attack and wake up with the guards."
The half-elf laughs out loud at the Paladin's plan, "I don't believe I've ever literally been rescued by a knight in shining armor. Just keep your hands to yourself when I'm helpless in your arms."
"We seems to have the makings of a plan here", Ophelia muses. "One on the roof to keep watch and man the rope, one in the room with me to acquire the jewels, and Gideon out front. If Gryffen is as nimble as he makes out, I'd have him help me with the locks. He takes the jewels back up through the hatch, I knock myself out, and as far as the guards are concerned, someone has taken advantage of our meeting to raid the museum."
Ophelia looks in Dejan's direction. "I assume we meet back here? In the off chance my beloved and I are detained for questioning, I'd hope that you, Dejan, would be able to whisk me away before word gets to my 'father'?"
"Sounds like a plan to me but I'm wondering whether you and I might swap roles Gryffen as you're more likely to blend into the crowd than I?" Kai comments

"Well I do have some ability to move with out being seen, perhaps I should just wait at the base of the walls in the shadows until you drop the loot to me and then just hightail it back here"Kai admits.

Kai smacks himself in the head muttering something that sounds like "isiwula sobuwula siphenduka sibe yisilwane ukuze ubalekele" he turns to the others and says "of course I am well positioned to get away with the goods, I'll just turn into something like this" before their eyes he turns into a small cat and then back to his normal shape "or perhaps this" as he turns into a mangy alley cur before turning back to normal with a grin. This is perhaps the first time that the other party members have seen his usually very serious demeanor replaced with something a bit more light hearted.

Her eyes widening at Kai's transformations, Ophelia speaks in an inquisitive tone. "Perhaps you should have mentioned this ability earlier - it certainly makes things easier. I'm intrigued, where would the jewels go once you change your form? Will I be hanging them in a pouch around your neck? And can you do more than cats and dogs? Given our opulent settings..." She gestures to their surroundings, "...a stray dog might be seized if seen out and about in this district. Better a bird if you have the skill."
Are we settled on our plan then? Unless anyone has any further revelations to share, we appear to be ready."
Kai looks a bit shamefaced at having obviously forgotten his ability. He turns to Ophelia and says "if I accept the jewels in my normal form and then change they merge with me. Unfortunately I do not have the ability to change into a flying creature. Perhaps a cat or rat will be best?"
Seeing the rapid transformation Gideon stares in disbelief as Kais face retracted and elongated to the shapes required. Reaching for more wine he wishes it were slightly stronger.
"If you could be something that can climb, that could be good as well." Dejan wrinkles his brow in thought "How small can you be, could you get in hidden in Ophelia's clothing or personal effects?"
