Kiblin scrambles up quickly, but certainly not gracefully, onto the top of some of the boxes in the back and sits behind Feng, looking fairly pleased. She gives Kyshana a wide smile (that’s almost unsettling thanks to the goblin’s sharp, yellowy teeth), “Nice clan.”

Morg replaces the wood/leather cap back on top of his javelin and will resume his position at the tail of the caravan. he grabs a piece of bread from his bag and tosses it up to Kiblin as the wagon begins it's travel.
Clan find job Kibl'n good at. Kibl'n already good at making people think she a he, or maybe clan not as smart as Morg and Kibl'n be. Morg gives a snort/laugh as the wagon pulls further away and he gets into position. Morg is determined to be more diligent on the trek.
[ooc] What is the town/city the Bannered Blades located in? Where did we just leave?[/ooc]
(You just left the city of Neverwinter, which is where the Quad is based)
Kiblin stuffs the bread into her mouth and you all continue south down the road for another hour or so, coming to a section where a smaller, less well kept road connects to the one you’re on on the left hand side. A carved statuesque piece of rock stands near the junction on the same side as the other road with the word Phandalin carved into it in many different languages. As the wagon is steered towards the road to Phandalin, Kiblin scurries up next to Feng and taps him urgently, speaking loud enough for the whole group to hear, “Nice-boss-small-orc, be watching. Old clan live down here. Much sneaky, much stealy, much hide and fight.”
Feng smiles over his shoulder at Kiblin. Do you know if they have a favorite spot they like to attack wagons
To everyone else he calls out Everyone keep your eyes peeled. These goblins have made a lot of people suffer, and I will not stand by it. Ilmater would be very disappointed in me allowing them to continue if I can help future travelers I will. Charmine can you and Cors go scout up ahead? maybe go an extra 50 foot?
(Sorry for delay in posting, spontaneous weekend away with family cause of the nice weather, just got back)
You carry on a little further, for about another half-hour. The road is a little bumpier now. On either side of the road there’s an embankment covered in thickets, followed by dense forest. Ahead of the wagon, Charmine is the first to spot the blockage in the road, roughly 80feet ahead of him and Talen. Even from this distance, he can see that the blockage is actually two horses lying unnaturally still.

Charmine sees the horses and being inexperienced with animal he says.
The horses seem to lie unnaturally. Is that a common sleeping position for horses?
Then approaches the horses to investigate whilst investigating he looks around the area seeing if anything may have caused the horses to lie unnaturally. Crouching down 1 meter/3ft away
Talen follows Carmine with his sword ready. "Are the horses dead? Maybe we can get some meal out of them" A veteran fighter always think of his next meal.

Lyle, after having apologized profusely to Ms. Kiblin for his transgression, had been trailing behind and slightly to the left of the cart, feeling rather bashful after having made such a mistake. So caught was he in his own embarrassment that it took a few seconds for Morg's warning to register, and leaps in place in shock once he does. "A trap!?"
He takes a brief moment to silently scold himself for not paying attention, before pulling out his sling, and shrinks down behind cart in an attempt to hide himself from threats, head wildly flailing about as he attempts to spot any would be attackers.
As Charmine and Talen approach the horses, Charmine, Lyle and Morg (with identical perceptions, lol) spot two goblins wielding short bows pop up out of the thicket on the right hand side of the road, about twenty feet further ahead than the horses.
