Craven shrugs, “Breaking bones it is.” He pops the cork on his Aqua Jekylli, hulking out and charging toward Piper as well, best to concentrate fire! He roars in an unnatural tone, “Time to make you dead dead!”

Mazer takes in the action surrounding him, looking at tactical possibilities. All of it falls to the wayside when he sees the imminent threat of Piper and his staff. The staff is long, which means its velocity at the tip will be very high. The impact would be lethal. It also means that there is a tremendous amount of momentum, and that it will be difficult to change its course. Rather than running away or moving aside laterally, Mazer steps inwards. This means Piper will need to move backwards to maintain distance, a difficult task when wielding such a large object. Mazer continues darting inwards, moving in a quick zigzag pattern to avoid a straight poke to his chest. He points his sword towards the target.
The little dormouse throws Piper off-guard. He manages to stripe the rat across its chest as he moves in, taking a glancing blow across his temple in return (Mazer, take 1 harm (reduced from 2 thanks to rolling 10+ on Fight)!)
Filled with anger at seeing his precious Haul bound, Craven's rage is magnified tenfold after imbibing the elixir. As he does, he feels the effects of the poison dart begin to take a toll (Craven, take 1 harm-ignore armor!). The straps holding his prosthesis in place snap free as his muscles expand unnaturally. Eyes burning bloodred, the hulking rodent surges forward in a single-minded fury. There is a boulder in the way. Leap over it. A fence blocks your path. Break it. A dormouse lies between you and your prey. Toss it aside (Mazer, Craven lifts you effortlessly and sends you flying into Haul's rock-hard armor- take 2 harm!) .
The Haul-thief is before you. Smash it. (You deal 2 harm to Piper, who appears now appears critically injured!) Piper manages to break his blowstaff over your head, dealing 2 harm (-1 for your muscly armor).
Mazer lands in a tumble, his back hitting hard on Haul's armored carapace. Momentarily dazed, he shakes his head. Craven is clearly out of control. Mazer would like to finish off Piper, but there's no telling if Craven would attack again. He'd better steer clear. Instead, he moves to intercept Cutter.
Craven just... ahem... puts the rat down for the count. There's a wet snap and- well, nothing more. Craven, you feel the poison in your system coursing through your body with every heartbeat- your vision darkens for a moment, as well. Your higher mind takes control, and you vomit a viscous combination of milk-white aqua jekylli and greenish poison as you return to normal (Take another 2 harm ignore armor! With 4 harm total, mark yourself as 'unstable') You... don't feel so good. Haul should have the ingredients you need to whip together a healing draught, though.
Mazer, dazed as you are, you still have an opening. You rush to engage with Cutter and give Eli a chance to revive Nissa before it's too late. You strike with your gladius, dealing 2 harm! He roars in pain and anger, then lifts you and throws you bodily away from him (Take another 1 harm!). "DAMN these mice! ASPER! Wherever yer hiding yer leathery arse, I'm telling Shar that you helped DICK ALL with this lot!" The hulking rat turns tail and sprints on all fours away and into the night.
Mazer is seriously injured. Seeing Craven vomiting liquid, he realizes that giving chase at this point is a fool's errand and would likely get him killed. Limping slightly, he moves to Craven to aid him and tend to his more serious wounds.
Mazer assists Craven- retrieving his prosthesis and helping the physicker to his feet. The two of them, both wounded, then go about loosing Haul's restraints (I assume) to grant Craven access to his lab / ensure the safety of his mount. Speaking of which, Haul is actually just fine- other than being a bit agitated, the enormous isopod seems to have suffered no real harm in the fight. It scuttles about, relieved to have full use of its many dozens of legs once again.
There is a sudden pained groan from the ground nearby. It's Piper, who (though largely unconscious and mortally wounded) still seems to be clinging to life.
Meanwhile, Eli finally reaches Nissa. He kneels beside the hunter, closes his eyes, and places his hands over her heart and forehead. A look of pain flashes across his face, and he sways slightly (take 1 harm, Eli!). However, he maintains consciousness and Nissa's eyes pop open just as the first drops of rain begin to fall around you.
(Just as a reminder/summary- Haul, Piper, Maze, and Craven are in the field by the cliff face. Eli and Nissa are a short distance away on a slight rise overlooking the field. You are all within shouting distance to one another. Piper seems to be alive. There is no sign of Old Nan, though you haven't yet checked her cottage, which is also just a stone's throw away. It is beginning to rain, and it seemed as though the rest of the settlement was fairly sure this would be a big storm- best find shelter fast)
Nissa moans and sits up. "Asper... it might be a snake," she warns Eli. "The others?" She takes in the situation at the bottom of the slope. "Quick, Eli, we must get inside. Help me bring them to Nan's place!" She will stand and, a little wobbly, make her way down the hill to the others. If Piper looks anything but cowed, she will draw her sword on the way down.

Yes, Nissa will usher the rest back up the hill, helping with Craven if she is needed. After a glance and some consideration, she will leave Piper there, unless the others have a different plan.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Okay, your party (bruised, battered, and maybe a little poisoned) limp up to Nan's cottage as the rain begins to fall in earnest. It hasn't escaped you that the settlement (most of which is a ways further up the hill from where you currently are) was still in a state of chaos when you all raced to save Haul. You can only hope that the hares and guardsmice stationed in the town were able to keep everyone safe. From where you stand, the tower at the top of the settlement still seems to be secure (despite the crack that appeared earlier).
The green light faded just as your battle with the rats began. Haul scuttles up to the cottage with the rest of you. As you approach the back porch, 3 Eli hears a pained gasp in the shadows nearby.
The large mouse throws out a paw. "Wait," he says to you all. "Who's there?" he calls out, finally brandishing his driftwood greatclub.
You hear a dry, papery laugh. "Who indeed? No one, soon enough, lightkeeper." You all draw a bit closer and see Old Nan propped against the back wall of the house, her hands clutching her side with a grimace on her typically bluff face.
Nan chuckles again. "Well, I would be Enhara's healer. Surely you noticed the garden in the back, eh?" She stumbles and nearly falls as you walk her up the steps into her home. Her paw is clearly slick with blood from where she's been clutching her side. "I've been training up the foul-mouthed tenderpaw at the guard station, but Stone swallow me if I can remember her name."
You settle her onto her bed, while Piper is lain out on the back porch. Can I assumed that he's tied to a post, or something?
Her home is very simple. All one room, there is a stove in the corner and fresh water in a barrel just outside. There are sheets and a few herbs about. Craven, you should have everything you need to put together a healing potion (you'll need to roll), and most everything you should need to keep *one* of these two from dying in the next hour. They're both in need of immediate attention though. Piper will not be able to provide you with any information if he dies!
Craven pulls a string on Haul’s back as a staircase pops out from the lab on its back. Inside, Craven pulls out a mixture of sugar water, honey, and lots (and I mean lots) of poppy seed. After a bit of fire and who knows what. A lovely clear serum has been made.
