Guided by the light in front of you, you are able to traverse the dark hallway without running into anything. The walls of the hallway are freezing, and feel like there’s ice buildup on them.
Between Rasa’s magic and Zeek’s stealth, you are able to sneak up to the edge of torchlight, which is being held by one of eight humans.
The humans have their attention on a massive set of bronze doors, frozen over and mostly obscured by a thick layer of ice.
They bear a resemblance to the barbarians you fought in the foothills near Waterdeep: brown hair, wearing animal furs. Their guttural language echoes in the freezing air, sounding urgent. Two of the barbarians barbarians, both tall & muscular men, oversee the six others, who are pushing with all their might against the massive doors.
You are in complete darkness, but you can still see the torch 40 feet in front of you.
Judging the distance and finding it wanton, Nirzeg knelt down and set down three flasks of oil in neat little side by side row. "Let'em tire a bit more. Then we fire." Nirzeg whispered to the rest, and then proceeds to start calculating trajectory and the like for the best possible way at catching at least one of the big guys. If at any moment the group decide to attack sooner, or the group is noticed, the Gith would try and at least to complete a gesture, catapulting the oil on quiet little rockets.

If no one agrees with him, he'll hold tight, otherwise he'll charge out at the barbarians (not riding Josephus), waiting until people have taken potshots at the barbarians.
Hearing or Sensing a consensus from the others, Nirzeg just nods and points a finger gun, seeming to line up his shot. Hopefully having managed to encompass at least one of the big guys and some of their 'lesser' kin in a direct line, the Githyanki grins while mentally uttering the word 'Bang' in his head. Much like with the stone giants, one of the flasks goes shoot off and out of the dark on a collision course with a body, shattering on impact, and coating whatever it hits in oil!
Action: Activate at (1st level)Purpolser(Dex 14) on a Big Barbarian, inflicting 6 magical bludgeoning damage on a failure and be covered in oil. On a success, next target in line must make the same save.

ACTION: Rasa burns a Wild Shape and summons Sparky, his Wildfire Spirit, in the center of all the Barbarians. The flaming bird erupts from an explosion of flames and hovers just above the ground at a point where it can be as close to as many of the Barbarians as possible. All creatures within 10ft of where Sparky appears must succeed on a DC15 Dexterity saving throw or take 17 fire damage.
BONUS ACTION: Commands Sparky to use its Flame Seed attack on the oiled up Barbarian, Attack: 18 Damage: 7 fire damage

Derrikoth can take an action now! The map is updated. The stairs are difficult terrain (as they are sized for a giant). All the barbarians just got flamed by Sparky, one of them is on fire, one of them just got shot by Swiper.
Lydia can feel a storm brewing, though she made need some additional head room...it's difficult to tell in this darkened hallway. Maybe there is a way to increase visibility, so that the spell can be completed?
Lydia's Light spell illuminates the frozen hallway, suggesting that the ceiling soars much higher than 40 feet above you. The blue light glistens off the frozen walls on either side of you. You are able to see that these walls go 20 feet up, before opening onto ledges. You can dimly see the back walls on the ledges, with openings that lead off into the darkness. You also see niches carved into these back walls at regular intervals.
Derrikoth's lightning breath washes over several of the barbarians, surprised as they are by your sudden...charge. They all begin yelling, and one word that is repeated in particular sounds like "BAIDAS!"
To a man, the barbarians take their hits in stride and respond forcefully to the sneak attack. In the chaos, it is hard to tell if they are employing any sort of strategy or just wildly swinging at perceived threats.
The first two gang up on the frightening magical bird (Sparky) that appeared before them, drawing their axes and swinging with ferocity.
The third, on fire, dives prone to the floor and attempts to put out the flames against the hard, cold stone.
The last three gang up on Derrikoth, yelling something horrible-sounding at him and trying to knock him off his horse! Again, they are all yelling "BAIDAS!"
Any attacks on the barbarians who have made attacks this round are made with advantage.
The two front barbarians withdraw to gain some space. The first one has a great big spear in his hand, which he waves while making some kind of war cry while approaching the stairs. The second slings a bundle from his shoulder and reaches into it, muttering something dark. He throws a glowing stick of incense towards the group of you at the foot of the stairs, and a twisting pattern, resembling multicolored serpents, appears before your eyes! The illusory serpents shift and undulate, threatening to put you in a trance.
Rasa, Lydia, Swiper, and Nirzeg: please make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw to avoid becoming Charmed and Incapacitated.
Harshnag, seeing that battle has begun, moves to join you, great axe glowing like a lantern.
Lydia casts Enhance Ability on herself, setting it for Dexterity before rolling a 23 on Stealth.
