Upon re-activating, Tefkae refrains from immediately moving, as per some survival training for hostile territory. It is Zack's call for aid that seems to finally get the warforged moving again. If shaken or disturbed by the strange new environs, it never shows as more than a passing look off to the side prior to reaching the captain. "One moment. Beginning repair protocols. You should see to the others."Tefkae says as they commit their own examination, cleaning the wound with a sleeve prior to applying some sort of salve to the Giff's injuries straight from her fingertips.
(Tefkae is casting Cure Wounds, restoring(hopefully) 5 on the commander)

Victoria is groggy and her vision blurred a bit. She blinks a few times and it gets clearer. Remembering what just happened she is quick to respond but her body fights her as exhaustion has hit her. She tries to speak " is everyone ok? Where's the pup, any injuries?" She realizes she's sort of freaking out and tries to calm down. Seeing Zack she accepts his help in standing then in a calm manner asks " How is everyone? Are you ok?"
OOC: Sorry for missing some action. between work and moving into a new house been super busy.
Ankor awakens once again in a strange place. after getting to his feet and sorting out his belongings once again. sees the captain bleeding and being tended to. looking around at this new setting noting the colors are muted he joins the others in the group around the captain. "Strange Place this is... Is anyone else injured?"

Tefkae makes his way over to the unconscious giff. Casting the [Tooltip Not Found] upon the giff, the wound begins to knit closed. After a few more seconds, there is a low grumbling coming from the captain. "Hmm, no... more powder..." He His eyes then open wide as he sits upright surprisingly quickly for a creature of his broad stature. "By jove! Where are we? Quick, damage report, Number One." He says, looking around for the modron.
The group looks around. They find the rest of their group are strewn across this bank, all in this dreary grey-scale. Victoria finds the puppy tangled up in a bush, wimpering as its tiny legs can't aid in its freedom. After Captain Obaysch's call for Eight-Bit, there are some whirring noises as the modron seems to stagger out of the hole within the hull, one wing bent the wrong way and its mop broken into two pieces. It looks ready to break down and cry...
However, there appears to be one less member in their party; the brash dwarven man whom shot lasers from his chest at those shadow raptors earlier appears to be missing. The group recalls him falling off of the ship before they penetrated the archway. It is possible he didn't make it across, or perhaps he was wound up further upstream. Who knows...
"It seems we are missing one. Unfortunate... But this is not the time to break down."Tefkae looks pointedly at Eight-Bit. "It appears as if we have made it through the archway. It would behoove us to gather our bearings, and make ready to potentially relocate should this place prove compromising."The warforged looks over everyone, guaging their reaction. "Captain. With your permission, I would take at least a small number with me to examine the immediate area, while efforts are made to at least temporarily scuttle the ship for a shelter."

"I will help you scout the area. We had some distance and were able to fight in the open last time, this area is prime for an ambush or sneak attack. we should all be vigilant in keeping an eye out for anything, good or bad." Ankor holding his shield close bends at the knees into a more stable stance and begins to slowly walk ahead his eyes moving from side to side and occasionally down to the ground then up into the trees as he moves down the path.
The captain places a huge heavy hand on the side of Eight-Bit sympathetically. "Granted, trooper." He says to Tefkae. "I shall reclaim what provisions we had within the ship, bless her for taking us this far." He then stands up with a look of worry on his face. "Egads, the emergency powder! It'll be ruined!" He trundles off at great speed towards the crashed boat, leaving Eight-Bit to mourn the breakage of its mop.
Taking an initial look, there isn't much out of the ordinary beyond what has been observed earlier. This appears to be a riverside within a dark and misty forest. The trees and other foliage are also similarly missing their colour. However, those lights off in the distance seem to bob slightly, like they may be moving towards the party.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With a final, bemused shake of the head, Tefkae sets their focus back on the riverside. She tries to summon Mr. Pepper in a few dainty claps, and send him off ahead and high above the lights. Though if the strangeness of the world pervented it, they note it, but would not press upon whatever magical boundaries prevented the summoning. Speaking of lights...
"Though unfavorable, if those are torch lights, we may have company. As a precaution, we should approach from a parallel route, and be quiet to assess their demeanor. And in the event you are likely spotted, I will remain hidden until such a time requires my involvement. Agreed?" She inquires to Ankor, and whoever else intended to follow along for at least a spell. Afterwards, its right to putting the plan into motion with Mr. Pepper potentially above as a secret eyes in the skies.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ankor agrees with Tefkae but sorta makes a face at the stealthy part glancing at his chain mail armor. "Sneaky isn't really my thing. I'm more of a up in your face kinda guy, but heck let's give it a go"
Zack will keep watch to make sure nothing else jumps them. At the same time, he will take out another book and write something down in it. For those keeping track, that makes a total of 4 books Zack has: his blue spell book, a beige book that he got out when he saw 8-bit for the first time, a yellow book and now a red book.
Tefkae quietly makes their way into the undergrowth, hunkering down not too far away from the boat. At the notice of the lights getting closer, Ankor and Victoria stumble upon one another attempting to also get hidden.
As the lights approach closer, it becomes apparent that they are indeed small metal lanterns, and the people carrying them appear to be humans, one male and one female. They are garbed in very basic grey (surprise) baggy robes with a rope-tie belt, as they look around with their lanterns. When the lantern light reaches near where the party is based, they gasp as the ship comes into their view. "By the mists, what is that thing?" One of them says.
"Wait, I hear something." The other says, turning their lantern light towards the party.
"Ohh sorry LadyVictoria" after bumping into her while attempting to hide. seeing the two human figures notice their presence he stands up tall, puffs his chest out to look bigger than he actually is, not a very hard thing to do. "Good evening, I am Ankor Iron Fist, my companions and I have stumbled into this realm from the astral sea. we are not hostile but do require assistance and a healer, If this is something you can provide, we would be appreciative."
When the people with the lantern approaches, Zack looks up from his notes at them. He slowly puts the book away and stands. However, he is more than happy to have Ankor do the talking, standing ready with one hand near his belt. (Ready Action to throw a dagger if the lantern dudes prove hostile)
Tefkae flattens her self just a few inches further into the underbrush whenever the light passes too close for comfort. Though she trusted the others to handle themselves well, a hand inches towards the hilt of her pistol as a sort of comfort, if nothing else.

As the glimmer of the lantern light initially catches the form of the goliath's towering frame, the two humans stagger backwards, obviously intimidated at the giant of a person in front of them, easily a couple of feet taller than them. However, with Ankor's words they seem slightly more at ease. They speak to one another in a quick confab.
(Passive Perception 13 or higher, which I think is everyone)
Man: Who do you think they are. Woman: I'm not sure, but I remember grandmother speaking of travellers from beyond the mists. Man: Those old tales? But they're just to scare children. Woman: Well, perhaps not...
The woman steps forward, lowering the hood of her robe to show long flowing light grey hair. "Are you... travellers?" She asks. "We are unsure what an ass-trall-cee is, but yes we have healers."
The pup in Victoria's arms yaps a couple of times at them as they now notice the small canine. "What is wrong with your cat?" The man asks. "It looks... wrong."

Ankor stands up and steps to the side as to let them pass to the rest of the group. As he does this. I'll use my 2nd divine sense to detect good and evil within 60ft.
perception3 want to see if I notice Tefkae off in the bushes, assuming I lost line of sight and Ankor would want to know where allies are at all times, thinking to him self someone who's good at hiding will always see him but he may not know where they are at any given point. Goes against his protective nature.
Victoria straightens herself embarrassed by her stumble. "I am so sorry," She tries to turn away and hide her embarrassment from the others.
Now seeing the humans with lanterns in front of her she holds the pup closer, a little offended by what they said "This is not a cat, it's a pup. The poor thing is malnourished. We found it while we were...on the other side. Any way we can find somewhere safer, with food perhaps?"
