Background: Dorvan never seemed to have an easy go at life. Being a goblin he was always looked at with suspicion by the world at large, so he decided to try to do the most helpful thing he could think of; healing. He applied at numerous schools and luckily found one with a space they'd give to a goblin. He studied hard and found a passion for it. Being goblinoid, he didn't make many friends and, thus, developed something of a prickly bedside manner (think "bones" from star trek lol).
Now with some training under his belt, Dorvan needed experience to be truly great, which is why he finds himself here. Paperworl in hand, he's ready to begin....

Name: Aria
Race: Tiefling
Class: Bard (Lore)
Background: Aria grew up in a small fishing village south of Waterdeep. Her father was a fisherman and her mother was a musician. Both died of sickness before she turned ten. Before her mother doed she had taught Aria everything she could about music. The next few year were spent in an orphanage where Aria played music and sang any time she had the chance or excuse. The moment she was old enough she left, nothing but the clothes on her back and her mother's songs to keep her company.
Since that day she has traveled up and down the Sword Coast, learning all she can about music and magic, and a bit about swordplay too. While not traditionally trained like some other bards, she is still just as skilled and is searching for a place that she can prove it.

You will be in the Phandalin/ Leilon area of the Sword Coast, so will need a reason to be there. The characters are currently in Phandalin, having traveled back there to get some supplies Leilon needs. The Head Office of the company is based in Waterdeep, but the specific faction you are working for has an HQ in Phandalin and is working to set up a satalite office in Leilon.) Equipment is standard starting gear, pluss 1500 GP to spend on other items and 3 uncommon magic items.
Name: Silence Entrone Race: Tefling Class and subclass: Genie Warlock Background: Cloistered Scholar Backstory: Since youth, Silence has lived in Candlekeep library, raised by the staff there. As she grew up, she transitioned into working for and studying at the library. She used her lantern of revealing to find forgotten chambers filled with ancient books, and in one of these she found a ritual allowing her to contact her genie patron. Recently her patron told Silence that she could find a book that she would want desperately in Phandalin, so Silence headed down to see what book this could be.
Name: Broufen Bronzefoot Race: Dwarf (Mountain) Class and subclass: Barbarian (Totem Warrior - Bear) Background: Outlander Backstory: He was born in a mining colony, but he hated being underground. He loved the woods, the mountains, and the feel of wind. Every chance he could, he would sneak up out of the mines and explore the forests. He loved the creatures that he found, especially the owlbears. They were majestic, mighty, solitary. He grew a connection to those woods. It was the only place where he felt at home. When he grew up, he joined his colony's militia, figuring it would get him above ground more. Instead, he was assigned deeper into the mountain. He protected shipments of coal and gems from Underdark creatures and bandits. The chances for him to go topside grew less and less. He hated it. After working for 2 years, he decided to leave and live off of the forests above. The almost spiritual connection that he had forged earlier in life swelled to the forefront. He embodied the spirit of the bear, of the forest. But his inexperience with foraging and hunting made it impossible to live on his own. He took up adventuring to pay for food and supplies, and has been doing it ever since.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
Born in WaterDeep Margret grew up to a wealthy family her mother and father provided for her well and taught their daughter to defend herself. Which earnd herself a place in the city watch. She would go out and do jobs for extra money hunting criminals for the city. She was doing well till she found out that she had a price on her head. She decided to leave Waterdeep after the third attempt on her life. Finding that traveling among caravans as a guard was a good profession for her she made the trip to Phandelver from different locations across the Sword coast. Apart from an occasional battle with monsters that inhabit the sword coast, she found being a guard boring. Till she stopped in a town and her employment ended. She found new friends adventurers Whom she decided to go with thinking "Whats the worse that could Happen......" Bhardus is a traveler by nature and necessity, thanks to good luck in cards, and bad luck with most everything else. But he’s looking to change that. He won a coin during one of his card games which blessed him with power beyond the ordinary. Magic is now at his fingertips. Powerful magic. Irresistible magic. And he’s going to make sure he does something with it, to earn a big score, a place in history, or something! Anything. He just can’t stand to waste the blessing that has found him.
I have closed recruiting. if you were picked you will be added to the OOC PM here in the next few minutes. If not, then I look forward to playing with you elsewhere. Thanks for the applications.
