Iam will walk with the Caretaker. "I really know nothing of the festival, the city, or this world. My Creator left myself instructions to go out to learn, grow, and have relationships and left myself a door that would deposit myself some where in the Multiverse. When I went through the door, I arrived in your alley. You could say this is myself's first day." Iam replies as they walk through town. The metal man is obviously awe struck with the city, looking up and all around as a tourist. Not so much as to be unattentive to those around him as he seems to take great care not to even bump into people, perhaps like he is afraid they will hurt him or he would injure them.
"Iam trained in civil engineering, wood carving, carpentry, tinkering, and as a jeweler. I aspire to become an artificer, or at least those were myself's instructions, but I believe Iam also to find myself's own path. If the Caretakers need myself's assistance with a task, I would be pleased to assist. If it would be better for myself to participate in events of the festival, I will do that. If I could do both and see what path seems better to myself, that would be myself's choice."
Zacharias looks away again. He thinks and thinks. If he could tell time in this place, and if he wasn't the one thinking, he might say he was silent and still for hours. Then again, perhaps it was only a second. The mind is tricky that way. He looks at the avatar and nods. "I accept."
Xamodas: Farewell, Xamodas, heed my words: when you return here, I will be waiting for you inside, if you wish to meet with me again you must be strong enough to best me in combat, be prepared to face the true death, and then your training will be complete. Till that time comes, may the flames light the way.
Do you open the door?
Access Tunnel -> The Vilemind:
You open up the door, although it's girth is more than enough to cause you to stagger. It opens up to a metal hallway, dimly lit, going left and right. There is more writing on the wall by the door, with arrows pointing in either direction. "Huh, bow and stern, guess it's some kind of boat that sunk, and now it's some kind of base. Well, Where to you think the treasure is, eh, back of the boat or the front? Gotta be a cargo hold somewhere."
Tetsuo's Tunnel:
Noldeme & Nae: Whatever is causing it, can't be natural, maybe, it's possible the water from the ceiling might drip in perfect harmony...no, the waves are much too regular. Now that you look, it seems like something in the pool is acutally giving off an extremely faint light. Do you stand near the waters edge and look in?
Blackport -> Corvidae:
Leshanna: The shot runs the demon through, 100 XP, the demons manage to make it to the base of the tree as they claw at it's base, it's your turn again.
Corvidae:
Iam: "Ah, an Artificer, we are having a crafting competition, and that's even better for the work we have in mind, I think you will find the tasks encompasses quite a few of your facets, although, personally, I was hoping for a good swordsmith." You take a look around as the man talks. Every building encorporates some form of cylinder in it's design, usually the chimney, it seems the favorite colors of the city are black and dark green. You catch a glimpse of what looks to be a carefully curated garden that overtakes an entire district of the city, with a large tree poking it's branches over rooftops. The castle that juts from on high has beauty, too, it is iridescent, so it takes on a different sheen whenever you move.
You eventually reach the fairgrounds, outside the walls of the city, where there are tons of strange, armed people walking about partaking in fetivities. "Now, if you want to get stuff registered, talk to that man over there." he points to a blond haired Caretaker standing not to far. "If your looking for that work, head over to...that tent." he points "and tell them Venture sent you."
The Enn:
Zacharias: The Aspect nods. "Follow me." he stands up from the table, and first moves to the ends barkeep. "Malum, we're headed up top, if you would please." The barkeep, who you see is a neatly dressed skeleton, turns him and nods "Alrighty, be careful up there, 5 minutes tops. Although, you'll need to put that on hold." The skeleton man turns to you. "Hey, Zacharias, right, you got a call, someone trying to speak with you, named Connor, here." He puts his hand out into a fist and sticks out his thumb and pinky. "Take it, put it up to your ear." Seems you have a Bone Call.
Dordis seems interested in what Areyo was about to say and studies Areyo's face to gleam some information while returning his quarterstaff to his belt and mutters, "I am perfectly capable in combat-" Dordis looks up to her and replies, "Maybe we should pick up as many jobs as possible that require us to go in one general direction so we may explore and also gain gold if our exploration ends up fruitless," He is pacing back and forth while glancing up at Areyo to try reading her expressions or body language, "are there any good locations around to delve or look into though? Ruins, locations of interest?"
Nessaja: The bartender gives you the strangest look. "Caretakere are everywhere, but you can't miss the ones that are trying to stick out. They wear tuxedo vests and have golden feather pins. If your the lawful sort, that'll be the job for you." He takes a look at the dragons you've slid him "Waterdeep, eh? Sounds like an interesting place." he slides the gold coins back. "Why don't you tell me a little bit about that? I guess that's the place you can shadily slide people golds coins and not worry too much about getting in trouble. Listen, if you need work, I know a couple of other people from Waterdeep who were talking it up here earlier, I'm sure you would get along with them just fine."
Nessaja replied " A fisherman's paradise and a pirates hold. Very wealthy families live there as well. The city is growing so much. Gold represents good will there, so that my friend is why I am generous to you. Where might I find this couple?

She moves to the other room to see if the wider blocks can be moved, if they fused together to make some kind of plank across the pit? She makes sure not to shut the door on herself, but makes it clear that if they need to test anything, she can be the one to stay in the room when the door shuts...
"Thank you for your help. I will attempt to do both. I hope I will meet you again." Iam will say to the Caretaker Venture, while taking his leave of him. Once free he will move to the tent of registration, looking for a line or any signage. I am is careful of both his size and his spear in the crowd. The crowd seems like a lot to him, with all the individuals headed in so many different ways each on their own errand.
I am approaches the end of the registration line and addresses the person standing there,"Is this the line to register weapons for the festival and the city?". He will ask.
Access Tunnel -> The Vilemind: Yaw: “A boat? I guess I see it. As for the cargo hold, your guess is as good as mine! Let’s move aft. Keep an eye out for anything fishy...” I lead the way. Keeping a suspicious eye on the pipe and ducting bracketed against the bulkhead and watching out for traps. By the look of it, whoever built this ship had technology beyond anything that I’m familiar with. Though we do our best to stay quiet, the metal deck clunks and clacks with each step we take.

"Oh, right! Stoneshield! Their whole clan absolutely adores the Tower, don't they? They're sort of this cult of dungeon-builders, Smithy even managed to scale the tower, didn't he? I bet the current Stoneshield clan would be very interested in knowing about this dungeon... which means we absolutely can't spread word about it outside. Can you imagine what a clan of dwarves would do to the rabbit warren here?" She pauses, thinking. "I wonder how Barnabus managed to miniaturize this dungeon when he built it, though? That's an interesting question..."
She trails off as she notices GrrGrrFrr and Jogs staring at her expectantly. "Sorry, I got distracted!"she adds with a blush, rubbing the back of her head. Turning back to the panels, she scratches her head. "Solve... should set it to the solution we just discovered a while ago. GrrGrr, want to give it a try?"
If the puzzle does what she expects, which is set the aperture to the values which unlocked the panel, she then points at next switch. "Let's try unlocking all the doors next."
If unlocking all of the doors merely unlocks the three doors before them and doesn't unleash something terrible upon the party, Orina will turn to the others with her last two thoughts:
"Now, either we can try the Egg panel and see what it does, or distend the blocks again and use the Feather Block panel to jam them into the pit and destroy the gears down there. There's something underneath those gears, we know, so maybe we do have to get down there somehow. But I'm not sure that breaking this dungeon is the right way to do it, so I think I'd rather try the Egg switch. But I want the rest of you to tell me what you think, too. We're in this together, after all!"
I wait for the Orc to finish its order and then step to the counter. "Goodday, i'm willing to buy a sandwich. I prefer some specialty from the region, with meat if possible." Mikal looks at the ingredients, waiting for a suggestion for the Aarokocra. Then he focusses on the swords on the wall "Those swords seem interesting aswell, what is so special about them to sell it in a bakery?"

Dordis: "Known locations...no, it would be a scouting mission. Just about every adventurer here is thirsty for whatever information on that kind of stuff, chances are, if we know about it, someone else already does as well. Apparently ,some rookies apparently found a dungeon, but they've been gone a couple hours, and are probably almost done Honestly, any direction is good, we have lots of hills to the east, a small mountain range to the north, and a huge forest to the west, and loads of farmland to the south. I know there are some giant problems, that is to say, problems with giants that are apparently to the east, so that sounds like a good challenge...however that won't bring us any closer to our warlock."
Corvidae - Wrightway Inn:
Nessaja: "Last I heard they were looking for places to check out, they said they were going to the musuem showcase to see work from previous years of the festival, and they were asking about alot of the surprise exhibit that's opening there. My guess is they're intrested in buying the place out or something, I don't know. They left not too long ago, so you should probably be able to catch them there."
Tetsuo's Tunnel:
Nae: You look deep into the lake, at the bottom you can can faintly see what appears to be a small, round, rock at the bottom, like a tiny moon, giving off faint light. You notice, however, that the eyes of your reflection in this water are completely pale voids. For whatever reason, while near this water, you feel oddly stressed.
Dungeon: Trial of Ratio and Scale:
Orina & Jogs: The Stoneshield clan is mostly ancient history, so nothing on Barnabus, although they are still around, the blocks are not fused, but yes the medium or large block could be used as a platform across...
...Upon pressing the solve button, the contraption, with the panel on it, begins to sink into the floor. The aperture tilts to face the ceiling as it does, opening all the way until it becomes an opening on the floor. There is a small area, the pedestal has moved into the wall down there, and the panel is still visible. There is a stairwell leading down from that area.
Corvidae:
Iam: "Yes, it is, here, fill this out." Says a burly looking man with plenty of weapons, obviously at the back for a reason, handing you a slip of parchment. The line moves fairly quickly, but quite a few people are just handed the document and need to sit out. It asks some simple questions, name, number of weapons, types, etc, and checkboxes that say you have read agree to certain policies. There is also a checkbox, with a label next to it, which says "I am not a robot.". This seems like quite the troubling matter.
The Vilemind:
Yaw: "Ships made of iron? Yeah right, iron doesn't float, wood does, that's why ships are made from wood. Although, I guess there is the Undeniable isn't there, that fancy ship the Grand Dolphin has, but I thought was all magic stuff. This place is at the bottom of the ocean, so...yeah, iron sinks. Point for rattles."
You walk down the pathway, which supposedly take you to the aft portion of this place. You don't spot anything, but you can hear the faint sounds of clattering and splashing echoing. You pass by dark portholes, which you can only faintly see light from the surface of the water from. After walking for some time, the hallway turns, reaching a sort of U shaped section. There is another door at the bottom of the U, which has a small window which leads to a stairwell going up and down. However, across from that is another door, which rattles reads out more text from it. " 'Nursery', huh, that's kind of weird, but...there is also something about 'Precious Cargo'! I think this might be the place."

I just really had to stick with the theme, I guess, those swords up there are my finest work." The Aarocockra shouts to the back in a language you don't understand. "That'll be three silver, for the meal. If your interested in a sword, I have quite a selection of basics, but if your intrested in those swords up there on the wall, you'll need to start saving."
The Enn:
Zacharias: You hear a familiar voice. "Oh, Zacharias, I'm glad your still there. Me and Dordis are alright, we've been scrounging up enough money to bring you back. I hope being dead hasn't been too much trouble. I hope The Enn has been treating you alright, not much of a good place for you, I imagine. Have any luck there finding a way back, or do I still need to work a bit longer working my butt off?"
The bartender, who you guess is Malum, talks to you as well. "You really friends with Conman? Who'd of thought. That guy wagers his soul for fun and for profit, yeah know, drives me and my patrons up the wall. Great guy."
Xamodas: You enter into a tavern that is so infinitely large, complex, and nonsensical in it's design, it's like walking into one of those famous gith paintings. There are hundreds, if not thousands of occupied seat, and more that aren't. The bartender, a well dressed skeleton, currently has his hand up against a cleric's ear, which the cleric is speaking into, while a horribly scarred man dragging along red cords wrapped around him is waiting patiently nearby.
Zacharias — a paladin — is startled to hear Connor's voice issuing from the skeleton's bony fingers. He looks at Malum as he speaks, but then asks into the telebone, "Connor? How ... ? Well, never mind." This place never ceases to amaze. "I'm here with Perseverance. I thought he was Ilmater, but turns out, he isn't. Well, he is, but he isn't. Anyway, he's taking me 'up top'. I think it might be the way back." He looks at the aspect as if asking for confirmation. "I've accepted his offer to become a minor aspect, but I'm not exactly sure what that means. But he's going to teach me, I think. I'm glad you and the nervous guy are OK. How did you know I was here?"
Whatever Xamodas was expecting, this was not it. He looks over the numberless crowd, noting a menagerie of races and peoples. None seem to be interested or concerned by his appearance.
The gith finds an open seat at the bar and waits, watching the other occupants. All these patrons, and only one bartender. Busy man, he muses, still unsure of what he should be doing. Vant gave him guidance but not instructions.

Blackport -> Corvidae:
Leshanna: CRACK! Another demon is slain with ease, splashing into ichor as it's limp body slams to the ground. + 100 XP you'll be shooting with disadvantage on that rifle if they get up the tree. 20
They don't get up the tree, as hard as they try.
Baron's Mansion:
Ulrich: You finish the spirograph quickly and elegantly, when you finish, suddenly appearing in the middle as you take a step back, there is food and medical supplies, as well as a wicked looking metal claw, from a staff that resembles bone. You recognize it instantly, although you are startled to see one here: That is a deathclaw, a powerful weapon you should have no right using, but considering the circumstances-
There is a massive SLAM against the barricade Attack: 20 Damage: 9
SLAM Attack: 13 Damage: 12
John and Dula prepare themselves
Redport:
Mikal: "Oh, yes, I can prepare you out special, it's always the first thing I can reccomend, as for the swords, well, lots of blacksmiths have their furnaces running all day anyway, might as well put all that heat to good use.

The Enn
Whatever Xamodas was expecting, this was not it. He looks over the numberless crowd, noting a menagerie of races and peoples. None seem to be interested or concerned by his appearance.
The gith finds an open seat at the bar and waits, watching the other occupants. All these patrons, and only one bartender. Busy man, he muses, still unsure of what he should be doing. Vant gave him guidance but not instructions.

Orina and Jogs (Bunny Batallion) | Rabbit Warren Dungeon / Trial of Ratio and Scale
Jogs puts out her torch, stows it back in her pack. She nods to Orina, glances at her lit blanket, letting the Firbolg sniff, look and listen before moving further. She adopts a protective stance, grinning from earbud to earbud.
