The bandits cry out in pain, the blast from the spell still ringing in everyone's ears. The spell seemed not to have dealt lots of damage, but still affected the bandits.

"The hero sought to save the world.
"If I keep trying, I'll be able to win," the hero thought.
But the harder the hero fought, the further the world seemed to tumble away.
Drowning in doubt, the hero could not even save themselves.
Hero, if you still believe in a brighter future, hold in your heart a thorn that can pierce all doubt."
Not seeing anyone come out yet, and not willing to spend overlong waiting while his friends were in dire straights, Invaih cast the globe of darkness over the corridor hoping it would confuse the bandits for a time.
Then drawing Crescent, he walked in the corridor and in view of the bandits. "I bet Selûne will see you to your just graves before the night is out!" he taunts them, sneaking in the command word for his sword and making it glow a soft blue with lunar energy.

You quickly take down the two bandits with one strike with each sword. You hear stumbling and grunting from down the hall behind the darkness, soon, Fedrir Tarrenclaw and the woman accompanying him stumble through the darkness.

Quite disappointed that his globe of darkness didn't even make the thugs hesitate, Invaih's lips turned to a pout. That did not prevent him from reacting swiftly to the newest threat, however. Turning his attention to Fedrir, whom he recognized as the ruffian that had so disrespectfully handled Iradari in the bar, he "flicked" his thoughts and used his innate ability to line the man in faerie fire.
Unfortunately, Invaih realized a tad late that Iradari was in the area of effect of his spell...
Stay back, Dari! Cries out Artin, worry evident in his voice. Putting his staff in his shield hand, Artin gestures, and a flock of angelic spirit ducks appears around him. They fly in concentric circles, around Artin, quacking, and generally getting in the way of Fedrir. The ducks fly harmlessly through the party members, without causing impediment, to Boo's delight.
Action: Cast spirit guardians, all party members excluded from effect.
