Yes, Kenton picks up that she is very worried. With that roll he can tell from her tone and the way she is looking at the ship and the party, that it is in part that she does not seem confident that you (or the ship) would survive the encounter.
[As a DM, I won't stop you from attempting to deal with the invisible ship now and it is not a definite TPK, though I think the odds of a TPK are more than 50% approaching on a raft or with the Wavechaser.
I was also reminded by nschrock's post that I need to get whoever is wearing the aquamarine amulet to make two d100 rolls to see if Faendal's ship is nearby.]
"As much as I would want to hunt down another sea witch, you are right, we are not prepared. We are also missing Aliez and Reguh. To Port Damali, then. What do we do with the Kobolds? Do we keep them as prisoners until they find the invisible ship for us?"
((not sure if we decided who is wearing the amulet, but since no-one rolled, I'll do it: 6318))

[No pings from Faendal's ship yet.]
Both the Kobolds look at you all, hopeful (but still unsure) that you aren't going to kill them.
"I think so - they're more use to us alive than dead right now," Beatrice says, looking over at them. "And if we need we can use them to launch some sort of surprise attack against the invisible ship. And besides, they are pretty adorable, lookit their little faces!"
We can keep them, but restrained and under guard. I doubt their sudden change of heart,Kenton says in a cold voice.
He will attempt to secure the kobolds, perhaps below decks somewhere in the ship, but better tied to a mast where they can be seen and guarded. I assume there is rope lying around a ship or to be found in the hold somewhere. He suggests that whoever is taking watch should also keep an eye on the little creatures.
Be silent, small ones, unless you are questioned. If questioned, answer truthfully and you might live through this.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh, absolutely they only told us to save their own skins, I don't trust them as far as an ant could throw them, but their eagerness is kinda adorable," Beatrice grins. If Kenton can't find any spare rope, Beatrice will offer up hers, and will assist him in ensuring they are securely tied and that they have no weapons concealed on themselves. "I'll keep watch over them for now," Beatrice says, propping herself against a railing and pointedly cleaning her axe as she watches the kobolds.
I assume that to search them for concealed weapons I'll have to roll investigation: 13
And to keep them from trying anything, an intimidation roll: 19
And to keep them from trying anything, an intimidation roll: 5
Shouldn't have mentioned I found them cute... don't suppose I could make a case for an advantage roll since I've already successfully intimidated them once?

Both kobolds smile at Beatrice, mistaking her demeanour for friendliness.
Beatrice searches the Kobolds thoroughly. They had both dropped all their weapons already, though you also find 7 cp on Ce'cil and 6 cp on Eth'il in pouches they carry. Let me know if you take this money.

Let me know where you tie them up and then make a dex check (with advantage if you use both the rope from Beatrice as well as all "spare" rope and netting from the ship). Also, make an intimidation check.
After that, do you all just try and get some rest before getting into Port Damali, or is there anything else you would like to do?
"If they try at all to cross us then their head will leave their shoulders faster than they can blink," Beatrice promises. "But for now they could possibly be useful."
There's nothing else Kenton wants to do, except talk. He will spend time with the rest of the team, talking and keeping watch over the little beasts they have captured.
He will also ask Boeth and Dajarkal: Is it safe for you to enter Port Damali? What is your standing there? We will vouch for you of course, but we are not the authorities.
The kobolds are tied up tight by Kenton. They also seem to have warmed to you all and not be as scared/intimidated as they were earlier (hence Kenton's and Beatrice's failed intimidation checks).
They especially warm to Oden as he feeds them and gives them water, and they promise not to bite. They keep that promise. They tell him that they will even keep an eye out for any danger on the sea for the rest of the night, but fall asleep shortly after they have full bellies.
Dajarkal answers Kenton's question "I will need to report back to Lieutenant Commander Larth -- oh, and I ask that you all keep my secret identity a secret. [Her nerdy grin spreads across her face when she says that.] I will be able to vouch for Beorth if there is any trouble, though I think it should be ok given the crew vouched for him earlier. If you are worried, he could stay on the boat, assuming you are wanting to keep him as crew." With this comment a sad look comes over her face, as Dajarkal seems to realise that she will likely soon be leaving your company and she says "I will need to find out what mission the Lieutenant Commander will send me on next."
The Champion maintains watch on the kobolds for much of the night and the kobolds do not even attempt anything untoward.
Beorth and Dajarkal also offer to take watch, so anyone else who wants to can have taken a long rest on the way back to Port Damali. I'll say that The Champion still manages to rest enough to avoid exhaustion, though he does not get the benefits of a long rest (recovering spells etc.).
You arrive in Port Damali the next morning a bit earlier than expected due to favourable winds:
A few things to keep in mind: Dajarkal will need to report in to the Concord. Let me know if any/all of you join her. Kenton, you assume that Jaxon will be expecting you report to him as soon as you get in, and he holds sway with the Concord. If you go there immediately, you may all be able to do both Jaxon and the Concord. Let me know what (if anything) you do with the kobolds. It looks like it will be a very hot day, so they will likely not survive being tied up to the mast all day.

Frowning at Dajarkal, Kenton says: Port Damali is the better option, then. Are we all agreed?
“Agreed.”
Paladin - warforged - orange
"Agreed," Beatrice nods.
[[I hadn't but that's amazing!]]

Beatrice will place the CP's out of the kobolds' reach, but won't pocket them.
“We should just put the beasts down.” The Champion dismantles the raft before heading back on board the ship

Oden takes some fresh water and food to the Kobolds before night falls and feeds them himself if they promise not to bite.
The Champion will maintain a watch on them until we get to port, going so far as to sleep in the day and stay up all night

The Champion will turn the Kobolds into the port authority for piracy, and then join Dajarkal if he can.
