Still enraged when the taunting mushroom falls, Miles moves to the ‘compost’ piles and makes sure no nearly dead souls are still being slowly devoured by the fungi, splatting whatever he finds until his rage plays out.

"I scout ahead. Warn of more mushrooms. I learn many things surviving in caveplace."
Wendigo reaches into the shadows and somehow pulls out a fistful of darkness. He then spreads the stuff all over his face, where it shapes itself and gains color, making him appear like another spore servant(at-will disguise self). He then reaches out to the shadows again, and pulls them around him like a cloak, disappearing from sight. Even those able to see through the dark are unable to see him.
Stealth: 14
(If he is in darkness, he is heavily obscured/effectively invisible, even to those with darkvision. Technically even darkvision that can pierce through magical darkness, but I'd personally rule against that bit.)
He forges ahead, sniffing about and listening for any telltale signs of abyssal shenanigans, such as the scent of brimstone, or screaming and crying.
Vera, the bag seems to be larger than it would at first seem, and holds two rather arcane looking scrolls.
Wendigo, you see a couple myconids on your way back to Basidia (I assume that’s where you’re going?), but none look hostile or are behaving oddly. No fiends within a mile or any such, but you do get a faint sense of some sort of abyssal influence.
(I forgot to say—those still in the garden hear sounds of movement and faint chanting or singing from further in the cavern.)

"I hear voices further in the cavern. Should we check to make sure there aren't any more prisoners or fungi under the influence of this demon lord Zuggtmoy?" Miles asks.

(OOC: If no one else needs healing, then Vera can take it all if there's no objections?)
"Yes, it does seem rather unique doesn't it?" she commented as she took a moment to examine the blade. "But we can deal with all of these items later, we still need to get out of here. And though I wish we didn't have to, I agree that we should probably check on those sounds while we're here and waiting for Wendigo to return." Storing the items for the time being and redrawing her rapier, she inched forward slowly towards the chanting up ahead.
Startled a bit, Miles pauses in his journey towards the other noises. Looking to Wendigo's sudden return, he says, "Ah, very well then, I suppose we are done here. Shall we return and see what reward we might be granted, even if it is only a safe place to stay the night?"

Echoes spill from the misty cavern beyond, a cacophony of wheezing voices that wrap together like some kind of discordant music. The remaining heads planted in the Garden of Welcome begin to croak and groan, joining the horrible song.
Through the mist that shrouds the smaller cavern, you see the parade of creatures responsible for the melody. Their bodies are only vaguely humanoid, with clusters of luminescent lichen and tumescent growths forming chaotic patterns on their decaying flesh, their voices stabbing into your minds, both insane and gleeful in equal parts:
From rocky bed the toadstool rose, From chaos dark, her love She shows. Wish! Yearn! Laugh! The Lady will be wed! Crave! Hunger! Dance! Her joyous spores will spread! Youth is gone, beauty rots, Araumycos and Zuggtmoy! Joined together, heart to heart, Becoming one ’til death do part! Hail! Hail! Hail!

Wendigo cleans mushroom gunk off of his axes, and snarls.
"I knew it. Mushroom men monsters."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Jhazaal casts healing spirit to heal those injured.

Vera, you find an exquisitely crafted short sword and suit of studded leather armor where the drow woman was buried, as well as an odd looking bag.

(Anyone using the healing spirit to recover some hp?)
(Vera is down 15hp so she could probably use a bit of healing. Not sure about anyone else.)
Vera will grab the sword and armor from the Drow woman before carefully opening the bag to see what's inside.

Knox didn't get hurt this time around, so no healing needed here.
That's 4 x 1d6 healing right DragonDenn? So who, other than Vera, needs some?
Knox notices the craftsmanship of the sword (and possibly the armour?) and comments.
"That is a design worthy of praise, quite beautiful."
Knox looks around at the location the group is in and then asks,
"We seem to have subdued the trouble in this garden, for now, but perhaps we want to leave this place before others find out what has happened here."
"If this greater demon, Zuggtmoy?, is here, we should plan to exit quickly and quietly."

Wendigo nods, and moves to the front.

At Wendigo's report, Knox looks nether relieved nor stressed, but he does stop checking the exit, over and over.
"I think that what we have to report, may bring internal strife to this community. A safe nights sleep may not be possible here."
Knox looks in the direction of the noises.
"Perhaps we should check out what is going on further in, before we return and report what we know."
