After seeing Flint Vaporize most the skeletons Rip will run to Marav's aid. if i can get close enough i'll firebolt the nearest stinky 23 for 6
The fire bolt blazes into the nearest humanoid zombie, burning away bits of peeling flesh. It ignores the damage and continues to tear at Marav the dire wolf.
The large ogre zombie is once again taken down by Marav's dire wolf shape, but still the thing persists, even when much of its bones are laid bare by Marav's savage attacks.
As Ink moves away from Flint, a large form can be seen galloping towards them. A towering hulk of metal and wood interwoven charges toward them atop a clockwork horse. It’s moving at full gallop, however, as the horse reaches near the keep, the figure dismounts in a leap. A thunderous crash erupts as the humanoid figure rises to its full, seven-foot height, roughly 5 feet away from Flint. Light seems to trace from within the faceless, mechanical creature. In an... oddly chipper voice, the entity speaks with a mechanical wave, “Hello. I am Crownsguard, your collaborative, combative companion. How may I be of assistance? I am detecting large quantities of undead in this area. Do you require additional extermination?” In fact, upon further investigation, it seems that there is a marking drawn upon his face plate. It seems it’s a small, rudimentary smiling face drawn in dried ink. How strange.
//Since this was a bit more narrative post, I’ll summarize. The clockwork horse dashed 120 feet for its turn. Crownsguard then dismounted for 15 feet. He then moved 15 and dashed an additional 30 feet. Total of 165 feet moved.//
Reeling at the sudden appearance of the tin man, flint says from behind his shield "ye speak then? Get in there an' help th' elf! 'E'd be th' one with th' pointy ears, covered in skin...."
The automaton’s gaze stays locked on the dwarf, “Dialect identified: Dwarven. ‘Don’cha worry, lad. A’ll be takin’ care o’ it for ye.’” His head then turns 90 degrees toward the wizard, “Command understood. Assist user, ‘Pointy Ears,’ in eliminating undead menace. Lethal force authorized.” Crownsguard draws a longsword and removes a shield from his back, “I will be happy to assist.”
"I think Marav needs some help outside, I can mop up these bones that are left."
Ink charges forward attacking with the scimitar and short sword ...
With a flurry of spinning attacks, Ink takes down two skeletons, turning them into flaming piles of bone with his fiery scimitar. He seems to be having some trouble wielding the shortsword, it's a bit heavier in his arm than normal, but still he manages.
Steele Strength Check (Against an Ogre.. for real?): 3
Marav's howl of pain turns into a grunt as he changes back into his normal orc form half way through the attack. "I'm not done yet!" He yells out at the undead changing his form again into his familiar Dire Wolf form and attacks the same ogre again.
Attack: 14 Damage: 12
(And if Steele isn't dead or grappled) Steele Attack: 22 Damage: 9
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The first attack slides off Crownsguard’s iron plating, but the second swing barely catches him in his wooden body, “Please. Stop resisting. You are making this awkward.” Crownsguard plants his sword in the ground, removes a hammer from his hip, and swings it towards the heads of the skeletons, Attack: 26 Damage: 4 bludgeoning and Attack: 17 Damage: 6 bludgeoning damage.
Steele is grabbed by the ogre zombie, but as he is drawn towards his gullet, Rip's fire bolt comes in and smashes into the side of the ugly creature's head! The blood hawk then manages to poke out the undead ogre's eye, and with the momentary distraction, Marav is able to leap stop the body of the ogre and rip its head from its body. The carcass drops to the ground, inanimate, and Steele is able to wriggle from the cold grasp of its hand.
Meanwhile, the curiously constructed Crownsguard's attacks against the skeletons are incredibly effective. With two swings, he caves in the skulls of both undead warriors, putting them to rest once again.
His blessed Warhammer still heavy in his hand, flint tries to beat back the skeletons: 11 for 7
Flint's strength, which was sapped from the earlier confrontation with the undead shadows, has not returned to him. The skeleton manages to rebuff his slow attack.

Crownsguard pulls his hammer from the skeleton’s skull and looks to Flint, “Please do not injure yourself. I am designed to protect and serve, I would advice you staying near me. Thank you for your compliance!”
