Krowen looks troubled upon hearing of your encounter with this monstrosity. "A tentacled face? I've heard of creatures in the underdark that fit that description. But to my knowledge, these creatures aren't fond of necromancy, or any school of magic for that matter. Are you quite sure in your description?"

“He is correct. ‘Cat’ is very nice.” Crownsguard pets the winged feline.

"It was definitely a tentacled face... And if it was of the underdark, it didn't seem to have no issue with being out in the day. It spoke into our minds and definitely cast arcane magic with a necromantic twist."

 "Everlund is a bit of a Harpers stronghold - Yartar, well, let's say it's a bit of a subterfuge battleground. This city was the safer choice to seek aid. That  and she asked us to convey a message to her, our, associates here."

 Nodding at Ink's answer of Flint's question, the old man says, "You're not wrong. Yartar is indeed in political flux right now. What with the Kraken Society's sudden growth in prominence there, we are doing everything we can to halt their grasping for power.

"Even so, I doubt Darathra of Triboar has direct knowledge of the goings-on there. She is simply following protocol: since she was last an active member of the Harper cell here in Everlund, this is where she sent you, with her recommendation."
