Don continues over to the ballista. He attempts to aim it toward the thunder lizards and will fire if he sees them and they are in the arc of what it can hit.
Don finds the ballista already loaded, and ready for firing. Now to find his targets and aim. Scanning from above, Don locks on his target—the three thunderbeast skeletons are storming back, directly towards the ship!
Ballista and Harpoon Gun firing rules:
Ballista
Large object
Armor Class: 15
Hit Points: 50
Damage Immunities: poison, psychic
A ballista is a massive crossbow that fires heavy bolts. Before it can be fired, it must be loaded and aimed. It takes one action to load the weapon, one action to aim it, and one action to fire it.
Bolt.Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 120/480 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d10) piercing damage.
Seeing everyone going for the ladders, flint starts climbing. If it seems the ship is descending flint will ask the captain to keep it aloft when he gets in earshot.
The cultist captain, Delsephine, comes up on deck once she realizes the threat has passed. "We are in the clear?" She asks Crownsguard and Dontontion.
Ink, Matrix, and Flint are able to climb the ladders long before the skeletal thunderbeasts reach you, and the remaining barbarian on the giant raven is making good his escape as the sky darkens into dusk.
Ink suggests, "Perhaps it best we don't leave those beasts roaming about? Also, perhaps with their bones we could build, hastily, a group funeral pyre for the Raven clan that fell here - birds included. They were only trying to recover a tribe relic - I... feel ashamed... that I took their lives. They were just soldiers."
"they were soldiers, they knew the risks in attacking us. We gave them several chances to stop attacking, they chose to ignore them even when outnumbered. Honor in death society I guess."
"Uh Ink... I don't think you need to build a pyre for the birds. I kinda did that part already." He brushes his hair out of his eyes.
"Those beasts are protecting the mounds from people who are coming to take the relics and do evil. We should leave them to do their jobs. The items we got could do some damage in the wrong hands."
"Ther not just beasts. Ah'd prefer we put 'em down. But ah dunno about a pyre," looking around "they seem ta prefer th' cairn." Flint leans over the rail and starts raining sacred flame on the undead thunderbeasts.
The undead thunderbeasts, powerful as they are, are defenseless against the aerial onslaught, and they wither and perish under the magic bombardment as dusk turns to dark.

Flint descends the ladder with his wheelbarrow to scatter the dinosaur bones and begin collecting stones for a cairn, he'll then put together a modest burial for the barbarians and place raven feathers on their cairn.

Building a cairn for the barbarians is a task that will take those with darkvision (or aided by a light source) 9 manhours to accomplish. What is everyone else doing while Flint attempts this?
Flint moves to the base of the ladder, motions the others up and turns to face the sound.

Ink sighs, "Matrix - remember what I said about the thunderbeasts? Yeah, they're coming. GRAB THE LADDER AND START CLIMBING!"
Ink yells up to Flint, "Once we've both taken hold of the ladder, have the captain start taking the ship up!"
Ink uses his movement and action to dash towards the rope ladder and to climb up it!

The thunderbeasts draw near, but are still hundreds of feet away from your position on the ground.
