"There we go...there we go..." Giving a bit of a rocking motion Dofando continues to make progress, trying to get the lid off of the last sarcouphagus. Once there is a wide enough opening he takes a look inside to see if there is anything of use for him there, hoping for some kind of weaponry or tools that the occupant may have been interred with.
Raw roll to add investigation or perception to: 12 +0 for investigation +3 for perception, whichever GM decides.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
IGNORE - I am re-posting this - I figured out what I did wrong - but the original rolls with advantage on each were 11 on the Grapple and 17 on the contest.
With a great roar to Rage (raging) Yeldor charges at the cube with the greatsword to try and free the blade (I'm assuming this would be either Grapple or Shove attack)
With advantage from Rage: STR - 11
2nd roll (new to dice in here) - 10
If successful, he will try to pull it free (contested strength): STR - 20
2nd roll - 10
Not sure what I did here - tried rolling with advantage. Added 2nd roll each - didn't change anything, just new to the dice mechanic here.

From the mess above, I realized editing changes the results - these were the originals.
"Well hello there friend. I apologize for disturbing your rest, but I need to ask a favor. I find myself on a critical trial with no means to defend myself and, well you don't seem to be using that rapier. So...could I perhaps borrow it for a time? What's that? Oh, a gift? I couldn't possibly! Well, if you insist!"
Dofando reaches in to grasp the rapier and free it from its ornamental entombment.
(I don't know if there are going to be any issues laying in wait here, so I will give you a raw d20 to apply to a needed saving throw or skill check to achieve my goal of getting the rapier. Please disregard if it is not needed.)

Yeldor takes 6 acid damage, but manages to pull the greatsword free.
@Bounces
Donfando tries to pull the rapier from the grip of the skeleton. Instead, this wakes the skeleton and it pulls the rapier back from Donfando's hands. It then begins to climb out of the sarcophagus.

Ushala watches his kinsman enter. His eyes narrow. Waiting, he offers the black Tabaxi his silent respect, black fur like his own, it would be a shame to remove it so soon. Silently then he strides forward refusing the meet the gaze of the onlookers lest he be infected by their weakness.
DM Note: I guess, otherwise your just going start attacking those who there see you enter.
@Dreamhobbit
Everyone gathered in attendance cheers for Ushala despite him not announcing his name. After Ushala passes through the entrance tunnel to the temple, he finds himself in a long room. The room is twenty-five feet wide, and fifty-five feet long. Ushala stands at the south side of the room, on top of a wooden mezzanine that surrounds the room. Down below the ground is covered in yellow flowers and vines. The one exit out of this room is a door to the north, which appears to be frozen shut.

"No no my friend, that is not how gift giving works. You must give the blade to me."
Having no way to defend himself, nor the brute strength to have a hope of winning without weapons, Dofando backs away from the rising skeleton towards the door on the eastern side of the room. He does not completely withdraw from the room just yet, but is placing himself where that is an option should the creature attack.

Ushala studies the room from where he stands trying to observe any unusual features on the upper walls and judge the depth of the drop to the vines and flowers below. Perception 19
He also considers the vines and flowers below, does he recognise them? Nature 19
As Donfando starts to back out of the room, the skeleton stops in its tracks. It stands there waiting and watching.
@Dreamhobbit
Ushala calculates that distance to the ground is about ten feet, but the growth of vegetation would possible soften any fall. There are no unusual features on the upper walls. Ushala also recognises that the vines and flowers are not naturally occurring, and does not recognise them.

Ushala will move to the right skirting the edge of the room until he reaches the far right corner. As he moves he looks for traps or loose areas in the floor. Perception 19
Ushala moves safely around the room but does not see any traps or loose areas in the floor.

The crowd chants as Obsidian enters into the temple, he walks through the entrance tunnel and into a that is fifteen feet wide and thirty-five feet long. He sees a large sarcophagus in the middle of the room. A scratching noise can be heard from the west door, but there is a door to the north.

A tabaxi enters, jet black and says
”This is a trial I’m sure I can win”
if there is anyone within 30 ft of him, he attacks
