Glancing at the sword, Rac will speak, his voice more guttural and low, "I need no weapons dead ones, I am a weapon. You may keep your sword" Rac will search the rest of the room, also looking for any doors
One of the other two skeletons picks up a shortbow instead of a shortsword. Dofando sees that there is a dagger attached this skeleton's hip. The two skeleton's draw closer but the first skeleton moves forward to meet them in combat.

Seeing an opportunity for a weapon, Dofando rushes forward to grab at the dagger at the bow-carrying skeleton's waist.
(I don't think 5e rules covers attempting to draw an opponents weapon, so probably up to GM how you want to arbitrate this. I could see a few paths I might go. Here is a raw d20 if it is some kind of ability check. Please add whatever modifier you think is appropriate.)

Dofando's eyes flash a feral yellow as his teeth sharpen to points and his legs seem to elongate slightly.

Yeldor growls in frustration and pain, "Yaaghhh! This isn't working! I wonder what else is in here? I need something to eat and maybe to wash off this yuck from that cube." Yeldor will investigate the room for anything he could use:

Depending on what he finds, he will begin to search specifically for food and water:

As the bow wielding skeleton takes a shot at Dofando, he uses the opportunity to hop a few paces back, towards the sword wielding skeleton. (Using Shifting Feature to move 10' at end of Bow-skeleton's turn without provoking AoO).
Moving over behind the aggressive sword-wielding skeleton, Dofando strikes towards its skull with his purloined dagger. (Sneak attack because this skeleton is engaged in combat with my skele-friend).
