 At this, Khait will nod and say "I understand my dear, duty first! Here, at least take this cloak as my token of appreciation to your charge." And she will offer you a pale blue cloak to match Rowan's current shiftweave dress. The cloak is made of sturdy, but finely made cotton.

Harry will nod and say "Yeah, I've never had an aversion to silver before, so you two may be on to something.  All is forgiven Bryn, but please don't do that again, or I'll think you have it out for me!" And with that, he will turn back to his mug, but seems to withdraw into himself a bit.

Ann almost looks flustered at Khait's offer, with the way she bites her lower lip for a second before nodding her head and returning to her serious expression. "I'll accept it. Thank you." She doesn't put the cloak on immediately, instead choosing to roll it up to fit on her bag.

As the two of them make their way out, Ann will ask Rowan. "Now what, Miss Rowan? That whole talk with the archer, ..." There's a slight pause. "... Bryn, I think was his name. I heard it from the other elf when the two were speaking to each other."

After finishing that thought, she goes back from the beginning. "The whole conversation with Bryn made me really think about what your mother asked, and I feel no reason to be reductive. She only told me to escort you to the tailor's shop, but she was expecting me to take you back to the villa here in Amphail. I intend to go there with you unless you order me to stay here in the town. I'll hear what you have to say."

After thanking Khait again and heading back out into the streets, Rowan responds to Ann, "While what he said is technically true, I doubt mother will see it that way. She's probably not pleased that we haven't returned already. As much as I'd like to stay out and explore the market more, I think it's in both our best interests to head back home." If there are no arguments from Ann, she'll start making her way back towards the villa.

Ann nods and then answers, "I agree. We should be fine in terms of explaining it. Our pause was for a just cause, so if she decides to berate us on that, she's the one who's without reason."

After going back to get the horses with Quinry, Ann will help them travel back to the villa by walking alongside Rowan.

So Ann and Rowan head back to the family's villa, while Jormund, Bryn, and Vedui continue to enjoy their break at the inn. Is there anything else you all would like to do this afternoon/evening, or before returning to the villa?

(Out-of-character, I'm fine to continue. In character, Ann is still concerned about her health. A short rest seems impossible considering we need to get to the villa quickly, so maybe she'll check to see if she can heal up with the priest's spells. I'm fine completely skipping it for the sake of convenience.)

Attempting to catch Jared's ear as he bustles about the kitchen and serving areas... "Eh? Mas'r Talon, know ye've got a dinner rush... mighty fine food this, me compliments... lemme know when we can discuss the fish who swam away, ye?"

To Bryn, Vedui, & Harry, "So we've got a meet'n with Sir Henry tomorruh... and Harry here's got a date with Pelor... shall we see about some silverin' after breakfast? I'd like to pay my respects to the local forge, too. They do have a smith here who works in mail, yea?"

And then with a sort of a pinched look on his face, Jormund also asks, "Where do ye think we should start looking for the pack o' rat-lovers? Have we got any leads 'cept'n that they'll probably be back with more o' the same or worse?"

 “I have no idea, only one way to find out. After our meeting tomorrow, and while I get some silvered arrows, I plan to head back to their house to take a closer look. I assume you’d like to come along incase there is any fun to be had?” Bryn asks the question with a twinkle in his eye and a wolfish smile.

OOC: If you guys would like to visit the smith or silversmith today, there would still be time before evening.  Otherwise, I'll let the tavern group continue their revelry and story swapping.

Ann: I agree that a short rest would be difficult unless you actually took some time to sit down, bind your wounds, and rest.  The healers from the temple are already pretty tapped from the market incident this morning, so I think they would have brought you up and let you heal on your own the rest of the way unless you really pressed the issue. 

Ann and Rowan:  When you reach the villa, you see the whole place is still abuzz with party preparations, hanging of banners, scrubbing of the courtyard, trimming of the hedges, etc.  Quinry will say to you both "Thank you for an eventful morning ladies, I think I'll carry some memories of today for quite some time!" Nodding to a bite mark on his arm. He will then begin leading the horses back to the stable. 

You two hear the shrill bark of Rowan's mother's voice issuing orders from the main hall, where the nexus of preparation is still located. What would you like to do next?

OOC: I have no in character stories to swap so no need to RP it in the tavern on my part. I figure we’ll get the armory and silvering info from Sir Henry at the meeting with him. 

Ann is ready to head into the main hall to meet Rowan's Mother. She's under a certain level of anxiety that only appeared when they walked into the villa, but the knight doesn't let it get to her, keeping the serious appearance.

Before they enter the house, Rowan sends Enya away and makes sure her spellbook and wand are secure deep in the pockets of her skirt. She then shifts the new dress one more time, keeping the same structure but adding silver filigree and clear crystals around the neckline and waist to make it look more expensive. Waving goodbye to Quinry, she takes the lead as she and Ann make their way into the main hall.

All OOC:

 20 days to add some silver to “disposable” arrowheads? I can understand 20 days for a longsword or similar but for small stuff?......

I just wanted some silver “veins” added in to cause pain to the weres and for the shock value to set them back on their heels. DM’s discretion of course.... maybe the smith has some ready made weapons....
