This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ilyara actually can't drop the smoke. That's the benefit and drawback both of the ring - its version of Fog Cloud only lasts a minute, but it requires no concentration from the caster. It just happens, which is great for covering escapes or screwing with people but not great when blindsight critters are using it against you T_T
"Tommary, go save Toots!" Ilyara yelled, drawing her sword and rushing forward herself to aid in handling the last creature up and aware in their vicinity. She opened with another attack from the Traveler's blade, commanding the spiritual weapon to slash at her foe before diving in next to her duplicate. Fauxyara's distracting antics gave Ilyara an extra edge as she traced a skittering vein of foxfire down her blade and struck for the kill, hoping to end the back-here fight so the others could move forward and help Toots.
{Spirit blade attack: Attack: 21 Damage: 9 fizzorce damage.} {And GFB, with advantage from Invoke Duplicity: Attack: 27 Damage: 29, mix of slashing and a bit of fire damage.}
OOC: Question, looks like MP5 is about 55' from Tommary. 1.) Is the creature "aware" of me at this range through it's non-sight capacities. I'll use my Scout's perception to see if I can discern through smoke of war whether the taller lit shadow is focused on Toots or acting like it's aware of a gap in the closer fight setting itself up for vulnerabilities? Basically am I out of it's perception range or is Toot's position within the 5' rule (doesn't look it, but could also be construed a wobbler). I'm not so much worried about disadvantage/advantage but if my "hidden" within a missile levels out it's smoke obfuscation, I'll take it. I'm more interested in whether I get sneak attack damage on that attack. I'm debating between an arrow or a spell, both rolling the same damage dice with sneak, but the arrow gets a not insignificant damage bonus. If we want to play it as how Tommary may use his Scout tactical insight, I'll take a disadvantaged Perception check because I'm reading smoke 9.
OOC2: I'm going to play that nat 1 as Tommary, while taking the heat in this kitchen, it and the earlier thrashing is hampering his situational awareness, so going with the more sure option.
"I'm triple dog double dare deviling you, you blind's man mother bluffer!" Tommy hisses dissonant whispers at MP5. 15 psychic damage and uses available movement to escape me. WIS save 13 halves damage and negates fleeing. He'll then use his full movement and cunning action dash to hopefully get to Toots and orient us on a return path to the party, I'll take disadvantaged athletics roll for the proprioception requested for the orientation at the tale end of that, athletics: 11

OOC: You know, I was reading an interesting conversation about G-F B a little while ago, and RAW, the green flame MUST jump to another creature within 5-ft of the initial target. If there are no hostiles then it must jump to a non-hostile/friendly creature. And if the only other creature within 5 feet of that target is the caster, then technically the green-flame back flashes on the caster in that case. That’s not RAI AFAIK, but it is technically RAW. Bizarro, right?!?
”Ahhh! Ouch! Motherfluffer! I haven’t been cut-up this bad since that heckler at Pee’caan’s on The Row.*1” (OOC: Toots is currently at 1 HP.)
Toots, blinded by the fog, woozy from blood loss, and a bit feverish from the poison currently coursing through her veins makes a few last desperate attempts to dispatch her attacker. She she first plays a sound on her lute one might expect from a cat in heat being pulled through a chainlink fence by its tail. (Mind Sliver: DC 15 Int Save or 3 Psychic damage and suffers -1d4 on its next saving throw.)
With what might be a final burst of strength, she then whirls her lute in the air by the neck, the act manifesting a spectral mawl in the air above her. She then brings the instrument down sharply in a hammering motion, the spectral weapon following suit. (Attack: 12 Damage: 8)
*(“Pee’caan’s on The Row” is the name of a popular Tap and Stage,*2 on Tavern Row*3 Cliffbottom. Along with cheap drinks, bawdy entertainment, and exceedingly capable bouncers, Pee’caan’s on The Row is also well known for being frequented by the most quick-witted and abusive heckler in the warrens. The unknown antagonist is as beloved by the patrons for his “contributions” to shows as he is reviled by the entertainers for them. The frequency of his appearance is suspected by some to be at the request of the house.)
*(Tap and Stage- The local term in Cliffbottom for a combination “Drinks and Entertainment” establishment.)
*(Pee’caan’s on The Row is not to be confused with Pee’caan’s Hall in the Arts and Theater neighborhood in Cliffside’s Clifftop district. While both establishments were opened by the same man, a Mr. Col-Jessip Pee’caan XXIII; in terms of style, atmosphere, permissiveness, cleanliness, offerings, patronage, and pricing, the two businesses are as different from each other as as any other business from those two districts.)
