I choose Strength for the hexed Ability score. Then she whips loose a dirge at the creature. (Attack: 28 Damage: 11)🤞

OOC: Does Toots’ hex also apply to the attacks made with her animated coins? 

Tommary the Unworthy belts the warcry "For the soul of Moranis!"* and attempts to buffet the Shellback in the hole with them with Windbreaker.

Attack: 18 Damage: 12

Attack: 13 Damage: 11

*Upon seeing these things he's reminded of similar beings in the Vault Reels chasing one Rick Moranis before rendering his soul to Gozar the Gozarian.

friendly reminder: anyone within 10 ft of Elyona gets a +4 to their save. Also, for future reference, those within 10 feet also get resistance to spell damage and can’t be frightened. 

OOC to Sposta: a little over 2 hours. Same state, same type of work, just a new place. (I’m essentially being transferred.) we take a load of stuff the movers won’t move tomorrow, along With stuff from our freezer.  Movers come Friday.

OOC: Fuuuuuuuudge!!! (Only I didn’t say “fudge.”) Ahh 💩!! I forgot they were both concentration spells! Well that was a waste of a 5th level spell slot. Gorramit, I would have totally just kept hammering away with those coins if I had remembered. 💩!! Oh well, it’s gotta sting for me to learn. 😮‍💨

OOC: That’s good. Last time I moved it was a week of after-work car trips hauling boxes and furniture from one hose to another in my car. Luckily I had a station wagon at the time. At least you’re moving far enough to justify movers.

Ilyara flicks her chimes in an attempt to ring the bleeding monsters bell but the spell seems to have no effect.

The last creature thumps down into the pit and sniffs at Tommary and the wall.

Shellhead 1 and 2 are in front of Tommary.

Shellhead 3 is next to Tommary.

Tommary is in front of the illusionary wall.

Everybody else is in the 10 foot sideways pit.

 That would be a yes. You cast Hex which cancels the Animate Object and you notice that magics seem to have no effect when cast at the creatures. Ilyara also notices that her spell has no effect.

“Uhhh, guys… we have a problem. These things are resistant to magic!”
