Player’s Handbook - Issues and Support Thread

I really wish you had all the same screens and capabilities on the mobile app as when logged in on PC.
I tried sharing one of my character profiles to a friend that only has the mobile app and they couldn't see the background, nack story, extras screens at all.  I pull up the same link on my phone and nope the entire extras screen just doesn't pull up.

This isn't a phone vs PC thing. Those sections are deliberately hidden, by community request. Only you and the DM of the campaign if the character is in one can see those sections. You probably used the same share link to view the character on mobile which is why you didn't see it yourself. If you logged into the app, view your characters and then go to your character you will be able to see those sections.

In the Rules Glossary, section Glossary Conventions, this line is found:

No Obsolete Terms. The glossary contains definitions of current rules terms only. If you’re looking for a term from an earlier version of the fifth edition rules, consult the index.

However, the index is not in the dndbeyond version of the book. How do I find the right new term if I only have the current version of the PHB ? (one of my players asked)

The books are written to reference the physical books, not as a reference to D&D Beyond. The physical 2014 PHB does have an index. The reason D&D Beyond doesn't have an index for that book is because it's not needed and wouldn't make sense. An index isn't a rules glossary, it doesn't tell you what a term means. The only thing an Index does is tell you "what page this term is on", and D&D Beyond doesn't have pages. It does have a Table of Contents and searching, so you can still find stuff just as easily.

The thing is that the 5.5e PHB index does not only refer to pages, but it also maps old terms to new terms (like 'inspiration' refers to 'heroic inspiration'). That information is missing from the dndbeyond version

Can confirm. That should be in the PHB pages on Beyond for sure, even if only that list. 

No, having it buried in an article doesn't count.

 They've said they plan to implement them (see here), but considering the PHB has been out for 7 & 1/2 months and there's still no progress I wouldn't hold your breath.

I don't think this error has yet been recognized as such, so I hope it's not an issue if I bump it.

I would customize both actions to modify their damage/healing to reflect your Wis modifier. I use customize for all my table's characters because of ongoing gaps in DDB. Just add the note that you're adding in Wis mod so that if Wisdom ever changes, you remember to update the customization accordingly.

I am building a Warlock and at level 2 I get an option to choose 2 invocations but both of the dropdowns are completely empty and I can't select anything.
