ENABLING CONTENT FOR YOUR CHARACTER
To use content from Humblewood Tales in the character builder, you will need to set the character preferences to include the Humblewood source category (see the .gif below).
NEW SUBCLASSES
This source features 3 new subclasses.
Druid: Circle of the Warden
Warlock: The Predator
Wizard: Leyline Magic
These subclasses have been implemented for use on 2014 classes but are also compatible with 2024 classes in the Character Builder.
The Predator
Form of the Beast. We are unable to support die increases to existing bite or claw attacks.
New Warlock Invocations
Hexshredder. Designating the bestial claws as a Pact Weapon is currently unsupported.
2024 Warlock. Legacy Warlock Invocations aren't supported for the 2024 Warlock. We're working on supporting backward compatibility for Legacy Invocations, but we don't have an ETA.
Leyline Magic
Thrum of the Land. This feature is not supported on D&D Beyond at this time.
NEW MAGIC ITEMS
Talons of the Squall. At this time, we are not able to show advantage on general saving throws and ability checks made to resist being moved by strong winds.
Feather Robe. We are not able to support a magic item presenting a choice to increase ability scores, we can only statically set ability scores to increase.
NEW ITEMS
Boarding Axe. We are not able to provide a choice of two different damage types for a singular mundane item. Both damage types have been added as tags for this item.
READY-TO-PLAY CHARACTERS
Humblewood Tales includes four level 5 player characters in Appendix E: Ready-To-Play Characters. With each character we have included a "Downloadable PDF" button, that button allows you to download a PDF copy of each character's information. At this time, these characters will not be supported as Premade characters in the Character Builder on D&D Beyond.
Legacy Warlock Invocations aren't supported for the 2024 Warlock. We're working on supporting backward compatibility for Legacy Invocations, but we don't have an ETA.

Why haven't any valid invocations simply been recreated for the 2024 Warlock instead of someone trying to figure out how to create compatibility? Whatever else is the case, we know new Invocations can be made and the code already exists for all of them. It's an incredibly simple solution.
Why can't the subclass in humblewood be used when selecting the 2024 class? Two days ago I was also able to select a subclass of humblewood in the 2024 class.
Unable to use the Night Domain Cleric for my Humblewood One shot. It just does not appear.
That's from the Humblewood Campaign Setting, not Humblewood Tales. The subclasses from Humblewood Campaign Setting are for the 2014 versions of the classes; you might have selected a 2024 class instead?
Field Medic Feat isn't working properly in 2 different ways.
First, the feat gives you Advantage on Medicine, Arcana and Religion to tell some stuff about a creature, but when you select the feat it has you pick only one of them to apply the advantage to, when it should give to all 3 skills: "You can tell by looking at a creature if it is missing any of its hit points and whether or not it has more than half of its hit points. You also have advantage on Wisdom (Medicine) or Intelligence (Arcana or Religion) checks made to determine if the creature is cursed, diseased, possessed, or afflicted by any of the following conditions: blinded, deafened, exhaustion, incapacitated, paralyzed, or poisoned."
Second, it gives you free Cure Wounds equal to half your PB, but the feat shows you have a number of casts equal to the full PB: You gain the ability to cast the spell cure wounds without using a spell slot, up to a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Bumping this thread - I am currently trying to build a 2014 Predator Warlock for a Humblewood campaign (both source books active) and none of the new warlock invocations are showing up in the list. Is there an ETA on this fix or at least a workaround for homebrewing a fix in the short term?
the Cloak of Spines magic item is currently bugged on beyond. the item is supposed to behave similarly to running the Mage Armor spell for the purposes of setting armor class but with a base value of 14 instead of 13, but when you attune to the item, it adds your full dexterity value to your AC instead of your Dexterity Modifier.
i tried equipping and attuning my bard to the item and ended up with an AC of 28 instead of the expected 16
Hey, just wanted to let ya know. the Forest Sage Feat from Humblewood Tales is not properly working. Animal Handling, Arcana, Nature and Survival are supposed to use INT or WIS which ever you pick upon taking the Feat. It does not properly apply this stat change (in fact it only adds a +1 bonus to the Skills in question). So you have to do a Manual Override.
Additionally, you get to pick 2 spells from either Wizard or Druid (Whichever one you are not playing) These become class skills for you. Allowing you to use higher level spell slots as they should scale, and are supposed to scale off your Spellcasting Stat.
Druid: 2 Wizard Spells Using WIS Wizard: 2 Druid Spells Using INT
The Feat gives you the spells, and they allow you to use higher level slots. However they are not using the appropriate stat scaling. It is still using INT on Druid, and WIS on Wizard, so you have to manually override their Attack Roll or Spell Save.

The page listing all the magic items erroneously refers to the Egg of Rebirth as the "Eye of Rebirth" in the description for the item art.

EDIT: This got fixed.

My Homebrew:
Please support functions before you release something.
The backlog is massive at this point.
Also, glad Mend Plants WAS real.
Hexshredder https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dnd/hwt/the-tenders#Hexshredder
Is not showing up for warlock invocations 2014.

The Cloak of Spine just adds flat 15 to your AC, giving you 25+Dex, instead of working like intended.
Why can't the subclass in humblewood be used when selecting the 2024 class? Two days ago I was also able to select a subclass of humblewood in the 2024 class.
Not an issue for me, when I checked a moment ago.
Are you sure you own the sourcebook or have access via a campaign for that character?
Unable to use the Night Domain Cleric for my Humblewood One shot. It just does not appear.
Out of my mind, be back shortly.

They've shown up for me.
Is the content being shared or do you personally own it?

Have the eldritch invocations been fixed yet or is there still no ETA?
