I can’t seem to add TCOE’s Poisoner’s Feat to my Variant Human Lvl. 1 Druid
Hmm, it appears as a choice for me on one of my variant human characters, so this should work.
If you leave the feat choice blank and finish character creation and on the character sheet go to Features & Traits, then Feats, and select Manage Feats, do you see it there? If you do then this will at least allow you to add it for now, but if it isn't appearing there either then it may mean you don't have the content unlocked? Did you purchase the book yourself, or did someone else in your group? Content Sharing only works for characters that are in a campaign with Content Sharing enabled.

Former D&D Beyond Customer of six years: With the axing of piecemeal purchasing, lack of meaningful development, and toxic moderation the site isn't worth paying for anymore. I remain a free user only until my groups are done migrating from DDB, and if necessary D&D, after which I'm done. There are better systems owned by better companies out there.
I have unsubscribed from all topics and will not reply to messages. My homebrew is now 100% unsupported.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to switch between Guardian or Infiltrator armors as my level 4 Artificer, has this feature not been added yet? Picked the Guardian type as soon as I hit level 3, but now with an upcoming campaign the Infiltrator armor would be a better choice in the moment. Can anyone please help, and thank you in advance.
Just noticed this, but it looks like the Seeking Spell metamagic option added by the Tasha's Cauldron optional feature for sorcerers is missing a snippet on its action, so doesn't provide any details under the actions tab of the character sheet as other metamagics do:
Transmuted Spell appears to be okay (has an action snippet as expected). Should be a quick fix I think?
Thanks for letting us know and providing the screenshot! This has been resolved. 😊
You may need to adjust the level of your character up a level, then back down again, to force new class data to be queried.
The following spells don't have the Classes listed in the "Available For" section of the spell page, and consequently don't show up in the spell list filtration system, for example, searching for Wizard Spells and filtering it to only Necromancy School does not have Speak with Dead show up as an available spell, despite it becoming a Wizard spell in TCoE
This is the full list of all the spells that have this issue along with the Class that should have it listed as "Available For"
[...]
The expanded spell list feature is a class feature, not a spell list level feature. As such, the various class spell lists remain unchanged and the spell listings on the site reflect that
But the new spells introduced in TCoE do show up as part of the default spell lists despite being there as "optional features", but isn't it true for all books, that the spells in them are optional and only the PHB spell lists are the only ones which are not optional?
Also there is no way to filter the spells to include the "optional" spells while searching for a class build, which feels like an antithesis to DnD Beyond's Searchable Listings function
Superior technique fighting style, when chosen through the fighting initiate fear doesn’t add a maneuver option. Also, the superiority die doesn’t populate, nor are they additive to the sup dice total listed under fighter abilities and traits.
not sure if an issue or not, but my level 1 monk can already pick some weapon to be a dedicated weapon; AFAIK, you should only be able to do that as a 2nd level monk

From the very first post of this thread:
Fighting Style - Superior Technique. Not functional. We don't currently have a sensible way of implementing the selection of maneuvers that wouldn't cause characters to become broken in the future. We're working on a solution for this known issue.

Is there any date for the release of the sidekicks system?
As Arenlor said, they don't give ETAs, but I did just watch this week's Dev update, and based on comments made there, it is going to be a while. It's not in active development currently, in part because there are other things that must be developed first to make it possible--notably the generic/universal feature system.
Unsure if this is due to TCOE or just a bug on my sheet, but my now level 3 battlesmith doesn't have his steel defender on his sheet, and adding the custom option doesn't give the correct stats for it. Anyone else having this issue/ know of a fix?

I just created a gnome Artificer (Battle Smith) level 3 character and it shows my steel defender under Features & Traits on the character sheet. The stat block for the Steel Defender appears under the Class Features tab on the character sheet tool.
You can also manually add a Steel Defender in the Extras tab on your character sheet.
Note to DDB staff: This character should automatically get a Steel Defender, yet notice below that the character sheet says "adding a creature of this category will be outside of the normal game rules" .
My Paladin took Blessed Warrior fighting style and has an Amulet of the Devout +1 but the spell save DC for the cantrips isn’t equating. Works for other spells though, just not the extra ones added with Blessed Warrior.
I just wanted to bump this, as this still doesn't seem to be resolved yet.
When I'm choosing the "Superior Technique" fighting style for my fighter in the character builder, it doesn't give me a list to choose from the battle maneuvers.

This is a known issue, where spells that are not part of a standard spell list (added by a class feature, rather than added to an expanded spell list) aren't affected by certain items. It is on the development backlog!

This is an easy fix. Go back into the character editor, go to screen 2 (CLASS), then scroll down to Armor Model, click on the drop down arrow, and change your selection. You should see something that looks like the screen capture below:
The main issue resolution timeline post (#2) hasn't been updated in months. I'm sure getting frustrated with not being able to swap out my Aberrant Mind Sorcerer's Psionic Spells. Is anyone even working on this stuff anymore?

Yeah the last posted thing was what in Feb? My Aberrant Mind's spell list is a mess from editing the name of spells when I swap them out.

You can change your selection in the Character Builder, under appropriate subclass feature in the Class section.
