I have a question and I can't find a good answer online
I want a lvl 3 fighter to multiclass into Cleric.
As I understand when you multiclass to another class I don't recieve the starter items of that class. The cleric recives a symbol witch they use to cast and focus spells. But it would seem u don't get that symbol when multiclassing. Because it belongs to the starter equipment.
In home campaigns I would just work something out with the DM. But there are rules when playing adventure leageu correct?.
Buy one. They're on the equipment tables in the PHB. Nothing else I could say could possibly add to this.

Panda-wat (I hate my username) is somehow convinced that he is objectively right about everything D&D related even though he obviously is not. Considering that, he'd probably make a great D&D youtuber.

Theoretically you can make one with an appropriate tool proficiency and a prayer.
You don't need to pray. Downtime activities for AL are limited to those in the PHB and the 'Crafting' downtime activity only requires time, gold, and an applicable tool proficiency.

Can anybody tell me how that works?
Thanks in advance!

You buy them from your church. They cost 5 gp.
If you have a shield, you pay 5gp for them to paint it on your shield.
Or you get an amulet (Jesus necklace) or reliquary - all cost 5 gp
Theoretically you can make one with an appropriate tool proficiency and a prayer.
