Instead of orcs, you could include my favourite race/culture combination... FERAL HALFLINGS!
They would fit a bronze-age Mediterranean world quite well. You could imagine Odysseus encountering them (maybe an encounter with longboats full of the little creatures, bristling with javelins and swords and attitude!).

Sort of depends on why you're running a Theros campaign to start with. I'm not that specifically familiar with Theros but it looks Greek-themed, in which case I wouldn't consider them in theme. The Greeks had a lot of beast-people or combined beasts, but not much in the "humans plus makeup" category. For humanoid opposition (other than, well, humans; nothing wrong with bandits), I'd look at
The Theros known world is small encircled so to speak by a very big mountain range. Beyond those mountains anything could be lurking around waiting to be discovered. So anything goes.

Sure, but I was talking about theme. I mean, why bother to run a Theros campaign if you;re just going to turn it into Generic D&D?
I’ve seen the bestiary and done some research but I can’t find a straight answer. Can there be goblinoids or Orcs in Theros?
🎵It’s your Theros, you can Orcs if you want to, Orcs if you want to, Orcs if you want to. I would Orc too if I wanted to do.🎶

Ah we can Orc if we want to, we can leave Kobolds behind
Cause Kobolds don't Orc and if they don't Orc
Well they're no foes of mine
More seriously, that's totally up to you. Include what you wish, and what seems to makes sense for your Campaign.
The setting police won't come get you :)

The short answer is, there are whatever races you want. It's YOUR (and your players') world.
WOTC lies. We know that WOTC lies. WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. We know that WOTC knows that we know that WOTC lies. And still they lie.
Because of the above (a paraphrase from Orwell) I no longer post to the forums -- PM me if you need help or anything.
I would not include Orcs.
I'm just saying that so you can have 3 out of 4 people said you can use orcs or whatever creatures you'd like in your Thero's campaign.
All joking aside, use what creatures you want to tell your story in Thero's and have fun!
Thx everyone I want to Orc too 😂
I’ve been singing that tune in my head for days now lol
You’re welcome!

Barbarian Haflings
Sounds awesome

You could push orcs back to their older pigman appearance instead of their more modern caveman look.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Like pre Bronze Age it sounds interesting
If it’s like Odysseu’s adventure all of the beast folk of Dnd could inhabit the Dakra Isles
