Yeah this is a problem that’s been complained about previously. Unfortunately I don’t think there’s a way around it, my suggestion is just make it any ability score in mechanics but maintain the stated ability scores in the text of the feat. Not perfect but hopefully honor will assist
You could use “option” and make each one a single “option.” Instead of attempting to use a single modifier.
Keep in mind that there are 63 potential combinations of those 6 stats. That’s a lot. If WotC only used 59/63, those other4 combinations would not have been added yet.
The specific ability score increases are limited:
"Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma" does not exist
"Constitution, Wisdom, or Charisma" does not exist
Im willing to bet there is more, but these are the ones I stumbled over today
