I have a player who wants to play this sub-class in my game and I'd like to get the information into D&D Beyond but I am quickly becoming overwhelmed with getting things into a homebrew subclass. Is there a good print guide for referencing for creating a sub-class in D&D Beyond? Videos are okay as well but I'd rather read it as I go.
Don't remember if sublcasses got an "official" D&D Beyond article yet, but if you poke around the Homebrew subforum you'll see plenty of folks willing to help you out with a subclass. There might be some pinned articles on homebrewing subclasses too.
I'll admit homebrewing a subclass is probably one of the more complex things to do with the homebrew tools, but they do get easier to do with experience.

Second poking around the homebrew forum. Another major tip is to look at the subclasses (or magic item or race or whatever) that you already own, and see what looks closest to what you're making. Use it as a template, to see how everything works.
A tip for druid subclasses especially: subclasses are modelled based on the requirements of the free subclass published in the SRD/Basic Rules. Unlike every other druid subclass, Circle of the Land has a feature at level 3, so all druid subclasses need to have one (even if it's a dummy feature that does nothing) or the homebrew builder will throw a fit.
Howdy folks,
