I am building a background and in the tool proficiency section of a home brew background I can select Calligrapher's Supplies. When I then use the background it does not set the proficiency. Furthermore the drop down will allow the selection of many tools but the Calligrapher's Supplies are not present.

I am building a background and in the tool proficiency section of a home brew background I can select Calligrapher's Supplies. When I then use the background it does not set the proficiency. Furthermore the drop down will allow the selection of many tools but the Calligrapher's Supplies are not present.
Is this a known behavior?

I have made a background that grants a choice of tool proficiency and Calligrapher's Supplies is most definitely available in the dropdown.
