So I’m making a sorcerer subclass that can add their charisma modifier to animal handling checks( like how fey warden rangers add wisdom and charisma to their deception and persuasion checks) but I don’t know how

Modifier: Bonus->Subtype: Animal Handling->Ability: Cha

Anyone know if it's confirmed that PHB2024 update broke this? Currently to do an updated Undying Patron for Warlock where Charisma is added to Arcana and History checks. I have setup the modifier on the feature as follows:

Modifier Type -> Bonus

Modifier Subtype -> Arcana

Ability score -> Charisma

For some reason, with the above settings, it is adding DOUBLE the modifier score.

•  Are you sure the standard subclass isn’t working properly? If it is then your Modifier is superfluous and causing the issue.
• Are you sure you only added the Modifier once and didn’t accidentally add it a second time? That can happen.
• Are you sure that it’s adding the bonus twice? Because it should already include the character’s Wis modifier, and if proficient their PB too and doubled with Expertise. You sure what you’re seeing isn’t what it’s sposta be?
• Are you sure the character sheet in question hasn’t already been customized to include that bonus directy?
