I'm struggling with creating a spear that uses a different ability for attack. How can I change the attack role? Damage I've found how to change.
Basically add the shillelagh Spell to an item?
Item's - Sashelas' Spear, Thunder Beads, Diadem of the Owl, Bag of Stasis
Race - Fey-Touched
Subclass - Circle of Vitality
Monsters - Blood Bear
Spell - Arcbolt
Unfortunately, the only way I can see to do this is manually customizing the weapon in the character sheet.

D&D Beyond FoundersThere isn't a way to manage this currently, other than with dexterity - you can assign the weapon property Finesse
