Wondering if an adjustment can be made for creating homebrew items. Or maybe insight how I can resolve it. I was trying to make an item that offer a bonus to damage rolls for ranged attacks. I tried under Bonus, but those applied the bonus to "To hit" modifier and not the damage. As I looked under Damage subsection, the only option are the damage types, melee weapon attacks, or the longbow/shortbow. Is there some way to fix this or apply under this "Damage" modifier a drop down for range weapon attacks? Thank you.

That would technically fall under a request for a new modifier. This is the place that they collect those: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/21916-what-additional-modifiers-would-you-like-to-see
