The ships are indeed the first trade vessels to arrive on the island and Mynash is aboard the one in front.
After the Colonists finish preparing a suitable welcome the remaining time passes and the ships arrive. Some longboats begin rowing toward shore, containing both passengers and supplies.
As Mynash makes landfall, "Oh my, oh well, I see you have made some progress indeed. Oh yes, this is very good. I have brought some artisans with me to help and assist in various areas each according to their particular skills and trades, of course, of course."
He meets with the former mayor, Reeves, and they quickly assign and dispatch each to various tasks. It doesn't take as long as you would expect, Mynash's instructions are well received and everyone is quickly busy doing something, mostly organizing and storing the new supplies, but also preparing a feast for the evening meal.
Mynash and another individual then meet with you all to hear your report of how things are going and the various events of what has happened on the island since your arrival.
"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”

Some tables are set up and a buffet of sorts is arranged for the evening meal. Mynash and the Colonists are mutually happy with each other's efforts concerning the trading post venture. Everyone is eating and drinking, talking and cajoling, generally enjoying the progress that they have made so far.
It is a festive evening and if anyone wants to make a post or two describing what they do or how they enjoy themselves, feel free. You have some agency in this so long as you don't get too carried away with it, lol.

Zenodor is happy to participate in the feasting and throws himself into the revels, food and wine. He just hopes he will not end up with a headache the next morning.
The individual you see standing next to Mynash is a 5'10'' human with black hair and brown eyes, although the color is hard to see through the goggles he is wearing. He wears splint armor with a necklace with an amulet that can be recognized, to those with some religious knowledge, as an amulet devouted to Valkur, THE captain of waves. Besides that you see a warhammer and two javelins on his back, while also having some weird screwdriver at his hip. He greets Bow,"Pepin, good to meet you" after which he stands next to Mynash listening for what has happened on the island upto now.

After being asked about the war with the Goblin Hordes, "Oh dear, oh my, not as well as we hoped. They are quite unusual and savvy when it comes to military strategy. Oh my, oh yes, they have thwarted and avoided several attempts to route them from their position. We keep destroying their siege weapons and they keep rebuilding them so that is currently a stalemate. "Oh yes, oh good news indeed, this is why I brought some extra guards and soldiers of my own to protect the Colonists and by extension my interests here in the trading post. Oh dear me, that is also why early tomorrow I am returning to Laurentiis and I ask that you all return with me. Heroes such as you can do far more good there. Oh my, oh yes, the Colonists will be relatively safe here now that you have cleared the island of these dreadful Purplewraths you've told me about, especially with the extra forces I've brought with me. Oh well, but there is more to these Goblin Hordes than we first suspected and our best efforts to uncover what exactly that is has been stifled so far. Oh yes, oh well, oh yes indeed, perhaps heroes such as yourselves can uncover some clues that we've been unable to, what with our being distracted from the siege and all."

Zenodor listens to the tales of the Goblin Horde with dread. "We should make haste to return to the mainland to deal with this threat. But we are not an army, so perhaps a more indirect approach will be needed. Have you obtained any information on who leads or controls the Goblins? Or perhaps where their command centre appears to be?"
As Mynash mentions the group going back, Bow asks him
"eh, Mr Mynash I actually decided to leave the group, as I feel my purpose lay elsewhere. And I was hoping you would have a ship that goes somewhere interesting where maybe some fiends or fey are making trouble so I can handle those?"

Pepin has mostly the same info as the group, but also has seen the Goblin Hordes break into many Camps that have spread out in a large semi-circle and cut off access to Laurentiis by land, essentially laying siege to the great city (at least by land). The Camps are densely packed and come in three sizes, small, medium, and really large. The really large have exhibited somewhat strange activities, sending and receiving large patrols to and from the other camps.

Ooc. I guess the question is: should we ask them to ferry us into the besieged city - or should we ask them to drop us off further up the coast so that we can approach the Goblins from the rear?
I'm tempted to go for city first. We can always try and get a smaller boat from there. Also, retreat could be tricky if they are between us and the city. But, if we go for the rear of the Goblins, we might get a better view of their logistics and controls. And we might be able to rally the countryside or other powers to encircle the encircling force (think Gauls at Alesia, encircling Cesar's besieging army. But hopefully more successful than the Gauls).
