Looking towards the other Perrin gives a short nod before saying out loud “jhos” and (assuming he doesn’t explode) steps off the trap and towards Polly.
As Perrin stepped off the spot he'd been standing on... nothing happened. "See! See! The command word worked! You still live!" The imp grinned and flexed his wings happily.
“All right. I’m through that one. Let’s see about the others. Singe, I’ll disable the trap in front of the cube do you think you can figure out how it works. The rest of you without touching anything do you spot anything interesting.” Perrin instructs and then will disable the cube trap for Singe by saying the next command word “tasaer”
Singe walks over to the suit of armor, “Eisys,” He turns to the imp, “Shi thi, ialor tystalaer eindral. Grobbenbend!” He throws the iron bands Shanolia found at the imp. The bands expand and wrap around the imp.

Singe snorts, “Oh please. A deal with a devil? I’d be a bad wizard if I didn’t have the upper hand. You are free of your previous bonds. Now the last trap.”

Zamar looks at the imp without sympathy. "I am sure you are deeply wounded, emotionally. And yet, I feel you were planning on betraying us as well. It is easy to say that a magic word will defuse a nonexistent trap. Say the word and when nothing happens, you have proven yourself. Even if there was nothing to it. Besides, that grin of yours confirms that you are still hiding something."
Zamar begins looking around the room, careful not to touch anything. "Most of the arms and armor look pretty normal, but that one sword," he indicates it, "looks to be of finer quality."
The talks with the imp were, quite frankly, boring. It was clear from the start that he planned on betraying them and vice versa. It was so predestined that it wasn't worth watching. But all of the cool stuff in here, that was worth investigating. With everyone else focused on the imp, Lera's eyes, and fingers, began to wander. There was a book that was glowing, an awesome looking sword, a cube with a cat-person inside of it, a shiny suit of armor, and a broom all within arm's reach. Fingers itching, Lera reached out and poked the tabaxi cube while everyone else looked the other way...
As Lera touches the cube, all hell breaks loose. There's a loud *POOF* followed by the cackling of the Imp, still bound in the iron trap. The whole of the tiny room goes pitch black as it's filled with smoke. Something sharp slashes Zamar's back and you hear Polly scream out as something smacks her hard in the head.
Being unable to see anything Perrin uses his memory of the layout of the room and hearing Polly scream will make his way towards her to hopefully heal and protect her. He mutters an incantation and knows that his Shield of Faith went up around Polly but is unable to touch her. He instead can only touch the water weird. He pulls his hand out in frustration that he cannot heal Polly and is now desperately standing there hoping that one of the others can dismiss this darkness.

While Polly screams, something sweeps through the air past Perrin's face. Then a splashing sound can be heard, followed by the crunching sound of wood. Zamar can feel something slice through the air near him, but he managed to dodge out of the way of his attacker. While Perrin is trying to find what's attacking him, something whooshes past his back, narrowly missing him. While all this is happening, the imp continues to cackle. "Let me out of this thing and I'll call off all the traps!"
"All the traps?" Singe smiles, "Eisys! Tasaer! Jhos! And for good measure, terdi! Shys! Mys!" The sound of a sword clattering to the ground is heard as well as the shattering of glass.

Perrin swings at whatever it is that attempted to hit him. And his shortsword connects into the Imp who lets out a loud scream of pain. Perrin wanting to kill whatever it is that's attacking Polly lets his Radiant Powers channel through the sword into the Imp. "Guys, I hit what is attacking us; its the Imp."
The imp grinned. "You're standing on it." He then began giggling.
A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
“Of course I am and I trust that these command words disable the traps.” Perrin says to the Imp.
"Of course," the imp said, getting irritated. "What good would it do me to kill you without being released?"

"Treacherous!" The imp screamed, writhing against his bonds. "Deceitful! Liars! Betrayers!" Then he stops and begins to giggle again.
