Cassyt follows Utar's instructions and moves into the first area {M-85}. She doesn't like what she sees, so she pauses for a second and gets as close to the nearby wall as she can.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With the way more or less cleared thanks to Grax, Doozey unhesitatingly accepts the strongly worded suggestion and hops aboard biscuit. From there, the pair raced out into the intersection, and give both sides a decent once over. If Doozey spies the Wizard, both he and Biscuit growl and bear their teeth, before in snap of his own jaw, the Fey Touched would take the sound of clacking teeth as the command to rush the wizard's position.
If, however, even Biscuit would not be able to make such an advancement, the stoutling transforms into his far more hairer state and nudges Biscuit get as close as he can to the nearest foe so that blade can be worked into a vicious mounted cycle of hacking and stabs.
Movement(Doozey): Spend half movement to climb aboard Biscuit.
Movement(Biscuit): To I-81.(should be 30ft to get there)
(At this point it'll depend on what's close enough/possible, and in what direction)
Bonus Action(if Necessary/possible): Command Biscuit to Dash towards Wizard(if seen/possible), taking any OA along the way if unavoidable.
OR(if foes/terrain completely block off path to Wizard(if seen from I-81)
Bonus Action: Enter Hybrid Form.
Movement(Biscuit-remaining): Spend all remaining movement to get into melee of closest enemy.
Action(if able): Stinger Flurry on Wizard(or nearest enemy, if Wizard not visible/impossible to reach). Apostle Strike #1 - Attack: 20 Damage: 7 magical piercing. Apostle Strike #2 - Attack: 18 Damage: 9 magical piercing.
OR(See below for specifics)
Action(Doozey)(if not able to target any enemies with an attack): Ready to Attack using Apostle against 1st enemy to enter melee. (Use above 1st attack for simplicity)
Doozey hops onto Biscuit and the two move closer to the main intersection in the area (this takes 30 feet of movement including one square of difficult terrain.) Doozey looks to his left and sees some more zombies and kobolds attacking Neya. There is also a Red Wizard of Thay in there, mucking about a desk.
Doozey looks to his right and sees a large agglomeration of human bones, magically put together to resemble some sort of fearsome warrior. The necromancer even went through the trouble of finding suitable armor pieces with which to clad her creation, as well as a weapon. It looks mad and ready to strike. As soon as it sees Doozey, it lets out a grunt and tosses a dead kobold aside. Behind this juggernaut, the stoutling can see an opened cage.
(@OrI: What will Doozey do with the rest of his turn?)
Doozey eyes actually go a touch wide seeing the abomination of bones and necromantic arts, before narrowing again in determination. "Mr. Graxx. Mr. Utar. Found our juggernaut. But get the Thayan! Me and Biscuit will hold off their monster." He called over without daring to take his eyes off the creature. Then, nudging a growling Biscuit's sides with his foot, signaling the the beast to proceed closer to the abomination. Soon after, Doozey's own growls join Biscuit's, turning more guttural and deeper as he shifts into his hybrid form.
If able to get in close while on the back of Biscuit, Doozey immediately tries to hack at the things, hoping to weaken its ability to stand. If not, he hoped at least to be in good enough position to hold it off from going after the others, even if only a little.
Bonus Action(Doozey): Transform into Hybrid Form.
Movement(Biscuit-Remaining): 10ft closer to Juggernaut.
Action(Doozey): If able to get in melee, use same attack rolls from previous post. If not, Doozey Readies with the 1st attack/damage being used if triggered.
Doozey's plan evolves as soon as he spot the Juggernaut. Taking a page from Graxx's book, Doozey tells his companions to focus on the necromancer while himself and Biscuit engage the better-formed cluster of bones (relative to the earlier enemies).
Biscuit approaches the selected foe while Doozey transforms into a humanoid badger. Still mounted, the furry humanoid pokes at the armor-clad skeletal mass. The stoutling has little trouble finding gaps. (Skeletal Juggernaut takes 22 magical piercing damage.)
Neya watches as, from yet another room she can't quite see into, another enemy comes running. It is a man wearing the undeniable black and purple robes of the Cult of the Dragon. He lets out a scream to pump himself up to a battle mood, swings a scimitar wildly in the air, and positions himself as another obstacle between the adventurers and the necromancer.
Neya grips her weapon with two hands and attacks the nearby foes. The nearest enemy is sliced twice before it slumps to the ground. It does not look like it will be getting back up. (Zombie#5 takes 25 slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Switching her grip, the monk then punched the second for across the face with her freed hand, though the attack is not enough to bring this zombie down. (Zombie#6 takes 11 slashing damage.)
Zaralda is focused on the desk. She packs what looks to be some sort of notebook or journal in her haversack and begins to sort through the remaining documents on the desk. Neya is the only one who spots this.
The zombie that the monk just punched tries to repay the favor:
With this room now cleared, Utar hurries after Neya and Doozey, rounding the corner to I,80.
Confronted with another shambling mishmash of bones and a few more zombies, he decides what this place needs is a few more Tormites to lend a hand, or crossbow or club.
Placing his opposite hand to the emblem on his pauldron, it glows for a moment before pulsing strongly the times, at the end of the third, Utar is flanked by his former comrades, feeling comforted by their presence.
Knowing they need no instruction from him, he gives some anyway, "Let's do this."
Utar is the third CRAPer to reach the intersection and spot the necromancer and the juggernaut. The Tormite decides it is time to call in the cavalry and brings forth Ilim, Abet, Grewalt, and Burga. While Grewalt and Ilim prepare their crossbow and spells, respectively, Burga and Abet go to work. The spectral halfling lady swings her morning star at the remaining zombie while the tall firbolg brings down his greatclub onto the humanoid-shaped mass of skeletons.
Both enemies are worse for wear. The zombie collapses for good. (Skeletal Juggernaut takes 13 radiant damage. Zombie#6 takes 13 radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)
The two kobolds shift a bit their position but remain at a distance ({M-78} and {M-79}). One of them still has a stinkpot to throw while the other resorts to a pebble:
-> Sling vs. Neya: Attack: 8Damage: 4 (This attack is not supposed to have disadvantage, so it was actually a 17. It still misses.)
-> Neya's CON saving throw vs. stinkpot {DC 10}: 9
The pebble is ill-aimed but the stinkpot is not. Neya can't help but breath in some of the poisonous fumes (Neya is now poisoned.)
Graxx moves toward the violence ending his movement at...
(OOC: I think Graxx can make it to K,80 to attack the Cultist(attacks of opportunity are fine). If he cannot get him as far as possible while still being able to attack remaining Zombie.)
Graxx makes two strikes with his pike hopefully against the Cultist. GWM and RECKLESS.
(@Grx: Because of a little bit of difficult terrain, Graxx can just barely reach {K-80}, which is 10 feet away from the cultist. Thankfully, his weapon has reach.)
Graxx runs as fast as he can and promises to rain death upon all on the evil collaborators in here. The barbarian is so focused on his words that he doesn't even notice the large juggernaut he passed by. Instead, Graxx focuses on the robe-wearing dragon cultist in front of him. Two stabs later, the tribesman delivers on the first instance of his promise. The cultist never even got a chance to use his polished scimitar. (Cultist takes 37 magical piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Before the juggernaut can do anything, Ilim shoots a ray of radiant light at it. The ray partially fades before making contact. (Skeletal Juggernaut takes 7 radiant damage.)
The undead creation's woes are not quite over yet. It seems the creature has received enough structural damage for its bindings to show some weakness. A few more bones clatter to the ground on their own. (Skeletal Juggernaut takes 10 damage.)
Using this structural weakness to its own advantage, the humanoid-shaped juggernaut collapses into a large heap of bones and armor pieces before quickly reforming. Many pieces go flying in random directions, reaching a few CRAPers:
-> DEX saving throw vs. Avalanche of Bones {DC 14}: Damage: 18
Utar: 16
Doozey: 10 -> resistant while in Hybrid Form.
Biscuit: 18 -> this should have been rolled with advantage, but it was a success anyhow.
Utar partially protects himself with his shield, while Biscuit's 'floof' keeps him safe. Doozey finds himself worried about keeping his balance above his beast, which huts his ability to avoid the flying bones. (Utar takes 9 bludgeoning damage; Biscuit takes 9 bludgeoning damage; Doozey takes 9 bludgeoning damage.)
When the juggernaut rises again, he is holding in one of its many spare hands an ancient but powerful looking greataxe, which was possibly hiding within the mass of bones to begin with. The weapon was obviously selected for the monstrosity by its creator. Those nearby can feel its magic emanating from within.
(OOC: Utar or Doozey can roll an arcana or a religion check on the axe.)
Cassyt slowly makes her way to the intersection as well, so she can have a better look at what is happening {I-82}. Once there, she spots one of the recently defeated zombies by Neya's feet. The acolyte screams: "Brother Rasoran! No!"
Cassyt slumps to the ground, which reduces her frame should any attacker aim at her.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@Lerus: Ignore the below check if not for free. If its a reaction though, then its fine. Also, I take it the avalance bone was magic bludgeoning damage? If not, Doozey would still take half)
Arcana: 22. (Doubt Hunter's Bane would apply to the weapon, so no adv.)
Cassyt's outcries somewhat fall on deaf ears in at least the halflings case, seeing as the clattering of bones still ringed in his far more sensitive hearing. Noting at least the axe through the pain both hearing and bodily related however, Doozey growls out a sylvan curse. "'course it 'as enchanted weapons too. Mine as well." He muttered under his breath after slipping off of Biscuit.
The next words to come are a familiar Sylvan phrase to accompany his leveling the blade at the juggernaut, marking it to him magically for the kill. The brief moment of posturing is swiftly followed by action as Doozey aimed to cut the thing down at the legs. Biscuit, meanwhile, ran distraction in a way; barking like mad while bounding to the sides in between in a readiness to evade any retaliation.
Movement: Dismount at H-82.
Bonus Action: Cast (1st level)Hunter's Mark on Juggernaut.
