So technically (I may be wrong) interacting with an object is a separate thing that goes along with an action, so I'll say you're taking the dodge action along with grabbing the liquor.

As the troll's wounds close on their own, it howls viciously! It swings one claw at Krentz (Claw Attack: 17 Damage: 12) wildly, then the other (Claw Attack: 17 Damage: 9), before trying to bite down on the tattooed thug! (Attack: 24 Damage: 8)
The tattooed thug is torn apart and devoured on the spot!

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Zimm hears Olaerys’ plan to shove the troll back into the well. Looking at the size of the beast, Zimm is skeptical it can be so easily overpowered. For a moment he considers his options... he could try mind sliver again, but it had no effect. The creature likely came here for food and just devoured a man... perhaps it is sated and Zimm could reason with it in Giant and ask it to leave? Bah! Who knows if this subterranean troll even speaks the old tongue?
With no time left to think, Zimm acts. Olaerys is too small, but If I add my mass to his And get a running start....
Zimm will close the 30 feet to the troll and HELP Olaerys try to shove.

The professor’s eyes widen as the thug is eaten right in front of him! He takes a moment to keep from getting sick then taunts the beast again.
“Wow you’re pretty good with those claws. I think you need a new manicurist though, it looks like they did a hack job on them. They’re all tore up and broken. Must be hard to really tear into people with them all scraggly like that!” He shouts with false bravado as sweat slicks his forehead.

Caix thinking quickly of all the kitchen fires she's seen over the years from careless cooks, "Bonnie! Oil, we need oil. It's regenerating, maybe if we burn it, burns don't heal so well. They are trying to push it into the shaft. We can follow that with lots of oil and burn it!" Caix, hoping the barmaid can produce some oil for the battle as she has none, she grabs out a torch from her pack and lights it carefully if she can within the tavern ready to throw in once they get it on the shaft.
"Professor! Have you ever heard of a battle with a Troll? How did they keep it from regenerating? Will fire work?" Thinking quickly of all the stories her owner's guests had told of travels and adventures trying to remember anything about regenerating creatures. @DM
History check 16 maybe or please apply my roll to correct skill if you're willing.
Moving closer and possibly helping with a shove or to discourage direction with the torch if needed - careful of the flames of the torch once lit.

...but it is too caught off guard, and tumbles down, down down... It is several seconds before a sickening SPLAT echoes up the well through the tavern.
Durnan smiles, seemingly unworried that a patron just got devoured in his tavern. "Looks like you've got this under control," he says, heading back to the bar, dragging his magic greatsword behind him. He turns back about half way there and says, "One free night at the inn for each of you; you've earned it."
Caix, Bonnie and the Kitchen Crew dump cooking oil down the well onto the body; Aran finishes it off by grabbing a torch near the well (careful not to set his alcohol soaked dagger ablaze) and tossing it down the well. As a black smoke puffs up the well as the body burns, there are cheers from those patrons that had not already fled the building.
"Yes, thank you, thank you. I was just doing what anyone else would do!" Aran smiles cheerfully at the crowd, giving everyone a few waves. Then he's drifting back to his seat, thanking the gods that he stole the coin purse before that poor sap got devoured. The loss of life pains him. But. Coins. He starts counting through it all.
Realizing how foolish their maneuver was, but also rushing from the adrenaline of charging at a beast that had just shredded and eaten another humanoid, Zimm. He grabs Olaerys in a bear hug. “Good show! I knew we could do it,” he exaggerates his confidence in their plan.
In just a few minutes, Zimm’s demeanor has gone from sulking and bitter, to exuberant and prideful. He will continue to celebrate and try to get to know the other persons a bit better.

The professor begins furiously writing in his book. Making notes of his observations and the actions of both the fighters as well as the troll and the others who joined in the fray. He stops a moment to nod and smile at Durnan’s gift and waves to the man.
”Hrm, well yes, that worked out rather well despite being an unorthodox approach. Nice shove Olaerys and Zimmerman, good use of leverage and footing to get the advantage on a larger foe, and Caix, good thinking with that oil and fire.” He finishes his notes up and then puts his quill and textbook away, “Now what about these poor saps tied up over here? And that Orcish woman, how is she holding up? I don’t know what the guild is or who Zhents are but we seem to have gotten mixed up in their Kerfuffel.”

Krentz the Deceased Tattooed Thug's Coin Purse contained...
5 Silver Coins, 7 Copper Coins, and a scrap of paper...
Curiosity gets into Lokedos' eyes and he makes an audible. "oooooh." Before reading it.
“What have you got there Aran?” Creach asks, seeing the paper
Farewell.
On the folded paper is a cryptic phrase...
More than there are stars in the sky.
