After investigating the rest of the first floor and finding nothing of interest, the Party ascends the stairs in the main hall with caution.
The second floor reveals an upper hall with unlit oil lamps mounted along the walls. Hanging above the mantel piece is a wood framed portrait Of an aristocratic couple with two children, a boy and a girl whom you immediately recognize as the two youngsters from outside. Cradled in the father's arms is a swaddled baby, which the mother regards with a hint of scorn.
Standing suits of armor flank wooden doors in the east and west walls. Each suit of armor clutches a spear and wears a visor helm shaped like a wolf's head. The doors are carved with dancing youths.
Perception Checks (DC 12)
The red marble staircase continues its upward spiral past the second floor. You feel a cold draft coming down the stairs,
Ray-my will take the food and follow to the next floor. They stare at the painting and shakes their head. "Those poor children. They lost their parents and baby sibling."
They continue to investigate - Perception: 18

Salman's eyes are drawn to the portrait. Especially the expression of the mother. His face is flat like a frozen lake, but his eyes burn coldly. A few moments later He says. " Let's go…"
Salman turns to eastern door. He takes one step then stops, looking at the armors. Am I worrying too much? He thinks. The stuffed wolf on the ground didn't move. But the dark pressure on this floor gives him goosebumps. " …Just in case. " Salman raises his heavy crossbow and shoots at one of the armors.
(Salman)The suit of armor does not react to your attack.
(Ray-my) You open the door and look inside. Gossamer drapes cover the windows of this elegant hall, which has a brass plated chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Upholstered chairs line the walls, and stained glass wall hangings depict men, women, and children singing and playing instruments.
A harpsichord with a bench rests in the northwest corner. Near the fireplace is a large standing harp. Alabaster figurines of well dressed dancers adorn the mantel piece. A closer inspection of them reveals that several are well dressed skeletons.
Evrik stands in the foryer in a daze, uncertain what he has seen. Finally, he looks around and notices everyone is gone. He hears familiar voices up the stairs and runs towards them. "Hey, wait up!" But he halts when he sees the suits of armor and his companions checking rooms on each side. Evrik grips his hammer and approaches the room on the east but halts, ready to back up Salman should something happen in response to his shot. "Sorry, not sure where my head was. Feels like I was just looking in that closet for a moment, but seems time got away from me." He examines the suits of armor closely. (Perception: 14)

Salman shakes his head and laughs wryly. " … What am I thinking? Sorry big guy. I've just overreacted a bit. " Pulling out the bolt and loading it on his crossbow again, the ranger follows Ray-my to enter the western room. Inside there he stops the door and looks around. " Since when surface dwellers start to share the same aesthetic feeling with the Underdark?"
