If not ranting himself into another coughing fit from seeing the Xorn slip underground, Hun most certainly prioritizes putting the creature down before it can make good on its escape! In the latter case, he'd call out, "Well done, Young Blue!" A little encouragement where it was due, seeing some of his wisdom finally rub off on the bard. But in the former's case, the ranting and raving and inevitably coughing fit eventually leads to the Kobold stomping his way over to Eeyal, and barely call out a warning to shield her eyes while he hosed her the spiders down with his quick freeze solution.
In either case, Mr. Thicc would either be on guard to grab the creature if/when it emerged nearby or contributing to the pummeling with many a head bonks should it come to it! That, or should the Xorn be slain prior to then, both master and kobold rush to correct a previous many legged mistake with violence!

Still pinned down, the Xorn remains an easy target for the Snackers:
Rhogal hits it one more time with his Shillelagh, sending crumbling chunks of rock across the cave. (Xorn takes 11 magical bludgeoning damage.)
Krodhen switches weapon to see if that would change his luck, but his next attack does not puncture the creature.
Yumialth and Mr.Thicc also deliver their respective next attacks. One hits a second after the other, putting the mud, rock, and hard soil creature out of its misery. It is hard to say which champion would have a clearer claim at the kill. The Xorn's eyes, claws, and fangs assume a more earthy consistence and color, joining the body in being assimilated by the ground as if there was no monster there to begin with. (Xorn takes 14 slashing and force damage and is DEFEATED.)
Knowing that the fight is not yet won, Hun stomps his way to Eeyal and tries to freeze the last few stubborn spiders. That is exactly what the kobold achieves, though the tortle's feet are not spared. (Swarm of Spiders take 7 cold damage and are DEFEATED.)
Kairus was ready to jump in and help getting rid of the last threat but that proves unnecessary. Eeyal, too, stows away her weapon and sits down to rub some warmth back into her feet.
(OOC: There was no need to add those Bardic Inspiration dice to the attacks, so both Yulmiath and Hun still have then in case they want to use them in the next 10 minutes or so. Recall that Hun is still poisoned.)
WE ARE NOW OUT OF INITIATIVE. YOU MAY DO AS YOU WILL.
Seeing the Xorn defeated, Krodhen comments "That thing was tough...." then recalls the comments at the start of the encounter "...did you say it ATE a heap of treasure....you reckon it would still be inside it, what say we cut it open and see?"

"Not sure... Can you cleave it in half? Or maybe we have to be careful here."
With the Xorn defeated, Yulmiath lets his anger subside. Pacing away from the group, he takes a few deep breaths and begins to count.
Finally feeling his rage leave him and his muscles relax, he feels safe to rejoin the others.
"If that thing's body turned back into the ground and was absorbed by it, I doubt a sword is what we need. Maybe a shovel? Also, now there's noone posing us to pay them to rest here, we should rest here."
"Note to self: Use only near living targets." Hun remarked while rubbing his chin and staring down at the remains of the spider. Perking up a moment later at the mention of treasure, he offers Eeyal a quick word of apology before scampering back to the others. "What's this about eating treasure?" He asked, and upon hopefully receiving as much alongside a suggestion of rest, the Kobold hardly needed a moment to think before at least nodding an agreement to the later category.
"Unfortunately, my shovel was one of the few things I left back in Waterdeep. Little Eeyal? You wouldn't happen to have a fold up shovel for these young'uns over here to use?"He called back as much. But rather given good news or bad there, the spent Kobold tiredly gave Mr. Thicc orders to follow the directives of the others. In the meantime, Hun finds a spot well away from the others and finally gets around to carefully upending his bag of holding and sorting through the loot from the other cave.
(@All: Further discussion on the exact split is probably best carried out in the group thread for simplicity's sake.)
As soon as the threat is neutralized, Krodhen reminds everyone that there was talk of another small pile of treasure in this cave. Kairus confirms that such a pile was swallowed whole by the felled beast, but a now calmer Yulmiath points to the ground and says that they may need a shovel to investigate it further since the creature melded with the ground. Hun requests such an item from Eeyal, who has something to share: "It's no trouble," she says first about the cold foam on her feet. "I don't carry a whole shovel with me, but I do have this here gardening spade. Be my guest." It sounds like Mr. Thicc was volunteered for the task.
The talk of treasure reminds Hun that he still owes his companion a detailed list of the previous haul. As the group settles in to rest and wait out the cloud of ashes outside, they begin by divvying up their treasure while Mr. Thicc puts the spade to good use. Soon enough, the construct reports finding additional treasure to add to the equation.
Kairus happily reunited with his silver amulet, cleaning it the best he could in the circumstances. Out of the rest, he paid attention only to scroll cases, and mostly due to some mystery accompanying any sealed container.

Yulmiath watches dumbfounded as the group unearths a sizable amount of treasure. He had been sure they had seen the last of it when it entered the Xorn's mouth. He warily watches as Karius reclaims his amulet. Given the Triton's affinity with the water, having a deity that regularly dumped sailors into the water to drown them having first taken a sizable chuck of their wealth wasn't going to phase Karius. If you can swim like a fish and breathe like one too, that end holds little danger. Still, not for the first time since washing ashore here, Yulmiath was grateful beyond measure for his own cloak.
"Best eat and divide up the spoils then set a watch and get some shut eye. Doubt we want a fire in here, what do you reckon, Eeyal?"
Yulmiath helps set camp and volunteers for any watch the group needs covering.

"Well, well....finally...some REAL treasure! Be nice to have a bit more weight in the coin purse...and I gotta say, that cloak looks pretty good for being in a pile, might be some sort of magic on that one"
Krodhen proceeds to watch the divvying up of the haul, cleaning his sword absently in the process before adding "With what we just took on, I doubt there will be anything worse around here for a while, might be good to get some decent rest before heading deeper. Happy to take the first watch if needed"

After all the treasure has been properly unearthed, Hun redirects Mr. Thicc to aid in sorting it all out, having himself taken on something a group treasurer/quarter master role. Occasionally during the process he'd either glance over to Eeyal or pause for a moment to scribble down notes, before eventually moving on to start divvying up the coin at the very least.

Kairus did not keep others in suspense for long and - sadly - ignored the wisest advice from Hun. He was way too curious for that and broke the first seal. "Hm... Pure gibberish, if you ask me. Not that we need it with our Grandpa's light hand, but if something suddenly proves to be too tough to open, now we can do it!"

(OOC: I'll keep moving forward with the story but please be sure to agree to a split of the spoils in the OOC chat. We wouldn't want these rewards/treasures to fall through the cracks should we forget to account for them in someone's sheet. It is a mistake I have been guilty of, I admit.)
The group settles in for the rest but everyone remains awake for the first couple of hours given their need to have some supper and the curiosity surrounding some of the items they have recently collected. Eeyal takes care of warming up some food for everyone and, when cued in, she says: "No, no need for flames. The cave is warm enough given its proximity to the lava. I can even warm some of our food on the rocks, though it might take longer than it did yesterday."
@Kairus: Reaching for your silver amulet, you are reminded of its very faint bit of magic upon touching the item. It feels good to put the amulet around your neck again. Later, when opening the scroll cases, you are glad to see them snap open without any trap springing on you, either mechanical or magical. While one of the scrolls proves to be useful to you, you soon realize that the other is beyond the comprehension of any Snacker. It's usefulness is not completely null, nonetheless. Perhaps it could serve as a high-value trade at the Ahoyhoy market, or it could fetch some real gold from an appropriate buyer outside the island.
@Yulmiath: Looking at the coins a bit more closely, you confirm your suspicions that they seem to have been defaced ever so slightly. You have no idea how a Xorn's digestive system works, but perhaps the creature had just began processing the metal by the time it was slain. Regarding setting up the camp for the night, you have to admit you do not feel very proud of the outcome. The soil here is a bit too rocky for the tents to be properly tethered to the ground, and the lack of a campfire makes it all feel less comfortable than you'd wish. When you get to playing with the tattered hat, you accidentally pull a rat out of it. You are pretty sure the creature was not there a second ago. It skitters away from you and deeper into the cave.
@Krodhen: Although the jiggling of more coin feels nice on your waist, it is the pristine cloak that catches you attention. Although it takes some time for you to get the gist of it, you notice that the cloak billows on command regardless of the lack of a breeze inside the cave. You doubt this gimmick will help during a fight, but it might just be the difference between making a good and a very good first impression somewhere else. It could also double as an ever-billowing flag atop a ship's mast.
-> Rolling a perception check for Krodhen's watch: 6
@Rhogal: Given enough time to inspect the dried mushrooms you received, you find yourself intrigued by the prospect of finding more magical fungi in the island. These samples here are, surely, nothing more than mere tricks that may come in handy in the right situation. Nonetheless, they may hint at the existence of more fascinating discoveries in the realm of mycology nearby. Not the scaly mushroom though... you are pretty sure that one was a failed crossbreed.
@Hun: You are not pleased to see the triton ignore your warning so nonchalantly, but at least there were no traps involved. Your attention then turns to the strange mushroom the party druid agreed to share with you. A pre-dinner snack wouldn't hurt. Hoping that the treat might awake the dragon within you, you ingest it and almost immediately feel a tingling sensation in your stomach. It doesn't go beyond that, however, at least not for now. If you had to guess, you think you might have to give it some time. Perhaps you'll wake in the morrow with the ability to breath fire or ice, or perhaps you'll end-up with a bad case of the runs... who knows?
(OOC: Everyone should go ahead and deduct another ration from your respective inventories.)
Despite all the excitement that comes with their new trinkets, the group soon feels the need to rest properly.
@Krodhen: You take the first watch and keep an eye out as everyone else finds a cozy corner to sleep in. Your belly is full, the cave is secure to the best of your knowledge, and you doubt any beast would risk treading the ashy environment outside to find you in here. All in all, this is a good night. Eventually, you decide you need some rest too and you nudge the dragonborn awake so he can take over.
@Yulmiath: You spend most of your watch wondering what else may live inside your new hat and whether the rat was the reason for it being so tattered in the first place. You manage to eventually pull a bat out of the funny hat and watch as the creature flies away to seemingly claim the cave for itself. Unable to satisfy your curiosity, you later pull a frog out of the hat, but this creature has a much worst time than the other two animals. The hot cave with no water pool to offer proves to be quite the hostile environment for the amphibian. Its skin soon dries up and, unable to breath, the creature perishes. This tragedy is the only thing of note to report to the party's bard when it comes time to wake him up.
@Kairus (going with the reported original roll in the OOC Chat): Although you are happy to find some treasure to share with your new friends, you are soon consumed by the thought that someone brought spell scrolls with them to this island. Not only that, but whoever did so probably did it somewhat recently judging by the good condition of those scroll cases. You tell yourself that it could have been anyone: pirates who harbored in the island for some rest, merchants that stopped by to trade with the tortles, adventurers from the main land who tried their luck here in the Snout of Omgar... so many possibilities. But, maybe, just maybe, these scrolls used to belong to the person you and your kobold friend are looking for. He not only was in the island, but also had at least one companion with him, which increases the chances that one of them was carrying scrolls with them, right? This train of thought consumes most of your attention during your watch and you soon admit that it is probably best to go to sleep and let the construct take care of the task at hand. You walk over and let him know that he should actively pay attention out there now.
@Hun/Mr. Thicc: The automaton had been instructed to actively keep watch when nudged to do so by any of the Snackers, and so he does. The rest of the night goes by without the construct waking you up so you can only assume there was no emergency. Looking out the mouth of the cave upon waking up naturally, you notice that the worst of the ash cloud has already passed. You no longer feel hindered by your lungs ether, so that's good.
Packing up camp is quite easy in the morning as there was not much of a camp to begin with. As he goes about his morning, Yulmiath is happy to see that his new hat's charges are restored after dawn. Eeyal is the first to ask about the day's plans: "So, where would you like to go next? Deeper into this cave or towards the next one? The closest cave from here is a full day away so, even if we were to leave now, we'd likely be quite tired by the time we find it."

-> Rolling a perception check for Krodhen's watch: 6
