Krodhen grabs a third javelin but can't ignore the giant crab attached to his ankle. Using the weapon for close-range combat, the paladin infuses it with radiant power and fries the crab where it stands. (Giant Crab#2 takes 22 piercing and radiant damageand is DEFEATED.)
From a distance, Rhogal cooks up another batch of his rot-inducing spores. They find their way to the hag, taking some red away from her gills' coloration. (Myldryd Urchinspine takes 7 necrotic damage.)
Myldryd is looking quite battered by now, but does not shy away from a last swipe at Yulmiath, even if some lingering frost disturbs her attempt:
Despite all his wounds, the dragonborn shifts his body away from the attack with ease. Myldryd drops her shoulders and raises a hand: "Enough, that's enough. I call for a truce." She looks at Kairus and adds: "You and your group let me be, and you can take my medallion with you as recompense."
(Yulmiath and Hun are up next. No saves needed at the beginning of your turns.)

Does this sea-bint really think that asking nicely and throwing her hands in the air is enough to settle this? Does she think that this can be settled with tawdry trinkets to buy off his anger...because that could work, it is a shiny medallion.
Saying nothing, Yulmiath holds an attack with his greataxe in case this is just some trick.
Hun leers, not at all trusting the ugly 'thing' that had only moments tried to drag Yulmiath away. But then again, it wasn't as if the kobold knew the full extent on what happened or -- 'There's no time for this. Literally would be wasting my breath trying to converse down here' He thought as he angrily put away the Yklwa to better grip and pull the lever that would send another vial of flash freezing substance the woman's way.
However much like Yulmiath, the kobold hesitatingly swam closer to the woman (and by extension, the sleeping crab), thought to get a better read on the woman, only to instead study her form and ability, trying to piece together just what she was in the first place. A wicked perspective for the kobold to take, as not all seen as monsters are just so. He perhaps knowing that better than anyone in the group, save except Yulmiath. But for the party's sake, he'd piece together what he saw and knew just to figure at least the potential extent of some of the creature's abilities, if nothing else.
Movement: AM-73.
Action:Nature(to see if the woman's being even remotely duplicitous): 5. (if arcana would work as well, +6 instead.)
Come what may of his insights however, the Kobold looks to Kairus, and shake his head, still not fully trusting the creature.

The underwater hag's proposal gives Yulmiath and Hun a moment's pause. The dragonborn stays ready to strike should this new conversation go south. The kobold approaches the strange lady cautiously, showing his lack of trust towards her to all of his companions. Curiosity spikes, and the artificer cannot help but use the few seconds of lull to study the enemy. Unfortunately, nothing comes up in just a few seconds as Hun realizes a more careful and time consuming analysis might be required.
The momentary stalling causes Yulmiath's blood to stop boiling as frantically (Rage ends.)
The creature did not look trustworthy the least. On the other hand, not many sea creatures do in these waters. And after all, they did not kill the last bird out of that evil pack that attacked the group. Kairus lowered the crossbow. "We did not come here to steal your medallion. We were searching for knowledge when you attacked." He glanced at Yulmiath, which suffered the most and yet was ready to stay his hand. Even if for the price. "Give your medallion to the one you almost kill as an apology and we will talk."
All the time he was talking, Kairus watched (20) the creature's tiny moves hoping to assess the sincerity of her surrender.
Kairus seems similarly intrigued yet doubtful of Myldryd's intentions. She considers the triton's proposition and reaches for her amulet in a non-aggressive manner. "Very well..." she says with her harsh tone of voice.
Myldryd is outnumbered and pretty battered. It is clear to you she noticed that you were interested in her amulet and is using it as a bargaining chip in hopes of not being killed. You guess that she would rather not part ways with it, but even the amulet is not as precious to her as her own life.
Krodhen takes the extra seconds afforded to him to finally look directly at the hag. He feels uncomfortable but still in full control of his faculties.
Kairus nodded to the hag, not raising crossbow and visibly relaxing. "Good. We don't have to fight anymore."Triton's voice carried in the water as easily as on the surface and had to reach everyone.
As Rhogal follows suit and remains ready to reengage, Myldryd re-assumes her still ugly but somewhat more palatable human form. She removes the medallion and holds it toward Yulmiath, as requested.
"Take it and leave my lair. Let me be and never return." She says, making sure the truce agreement is understood by everyone.

Hun looked incredulously at Kairus, only to roll his eyes and shake his head in either grudging acceptance or disappointment... or even quite possibly both. Regardless, Yulmiath soon had his full attention. Something the Kobold almost immediately regretted when the Dragonborn too appeared to go along with the suggestion. At that point he blatantly frowned but dared not again waste what precious air he had left to even attempt voicing anything. Feeling his lungs in fact start to burn after the last two activation of his gear, Hun motioned rapidly to Krodhen, pointed to the slain crab, and then thumbed the surface. Yet believing there to be too little time left to spare, Hun double timed it for the surface once.

"We are looking for a lost friend and checking the weeks around for the traces of information," it was the truth but said out loud might sound less convincing than Kairus would like. He switched to Aquan to calm the creature down. "We would appreciate any information about what to expect in the other ships." Probably, staying intimidating was the better tactic but the fight seemed to be over and the hag looked like a relatively normal woman... He just could not do it.
(@Blue: You are right. No penalties for light crossbows up to 80ft range.)
Switching strategies, Kairus taps Krodhen's shoulder and grabs his crossbow (Bardic Inspiration).
As the bard swims closer to the action, he releases a bolt and watches it sink into the hag's torso. (Myldryd Urchinspine takes 6 piercing damage.)
Kairus has a clear view of the hag now.
Krodhen grabs a third javelin but can't ignore the giant crab attached to his ankle. Using the weapon for close-range combat, the paladin infuses it with radiant power and fries the crab where it stands. (Giant Crab#2 takes 22 piercing and radiant damage and is DEFEATED.)

The remaining giant crab is still asleep.

Yulmiath adopts a less aggressive pose. Or at least as much as he's able to underwater...
If the sea-hag can keep her temper in check, then so can he... Plus that medallion looks like it might be worth something.
Extending his hand, he waits for the amulet to be dropped into it.
The amulet is dropped into Yulmiath's hands.
