Yul sneaks a sniff of his clothes after his dip in the brackish waters beneath the Dirty Bastard and attempted wash afterwards and immediately regrets it. Deciding that another dip in the water should hopefully lessen the smell and might make their journey to the wrecks more pleasant for everyone, he splashes around a bit and then enjoys the warming rays of the sun on his scales as it serves to partially dry him off.
Considering the name of the ship on their way to the wreck, Yulmiath tries to recall any stories he might have heard around about such a vessel and shares them with the group as they approach.
As they near the ship, Yul feels his inner magpie drawn to the glinting metal under the water. Peering into the water, he will try to work out what it is, whether it is worth getting, and how best to get it. Perception - 14

Hun was not the only one against tethering, Kairus was still not convinced either."One thing is when you let someone - one! - go on the rope and back him up ready to pull. But when all are bound... The water and the ropes do not mix well. There are currents to mess them up, there is all kind of things the rope can get entangled around. And then you are stuck on in the spot and others can be as well." Though, if the disappointment was too strong, he'll relent. "We can try, of course, if only to see if it works."
"A "***** Queen"? I wonder which one the captain meant."History: 16 The name did not ring any bells and the sailor shrugged it off, giving one idea after another to those who had better memory.
Guessing while climbing and getting to the ship was fun, but the shiny thing in the water topped that easily. Without much thinking, Kairus, like a big sea magpie (actually, any fish is attracted to the shiny objects too, ask any fisherman) swooped down at the lure!

Hun raises a brow ridge at the title, though wouldn't ponder on it for long at first upon vaguely recalling a certain goddess. Yet as the group progressed to the site, an largely unoccupied mind meant wandering back to the name eventually during the trip, and consider the potential prizes. Pushing him in a way to even further enhance his own abilities a little to clear his mind for the job.
Yet even when presented a shiny and sparkly thing in the waters, the kobold looked a touch skeptical about the prospect of a dive. He side-eyes Yulmiath, half hopeful that -- Aaand there was the glint of greed and hope in the dragonborn's eyes the kobold half hoped wasn't to be present! He sighs quietly in defeat, before then looking to the others. "Before anyone goes diving, I don't s'pose one of ya strong'uns mind making an opening in the aft there?"Hun requests.
(OOC: Yes, the same rules for advantage apply here too.)
@Yulmiath:
You would know this without the need for a skill check: "The ***** Queen" is another name for Umberlee. In fact, the name of the ship and the kelp-haired figurehead are dead giveaways that this crew were worshipers of Umberlee. That said, nothing else comes to mind at this moment regarding what the ship's history might have been.
@Kairus:
The glint of potential treasure takes your mind away from pondering on the ship's name and its story. At this moment, it is just too appealing of a distraction for you to properly focus on anything else.
@Hun:
There is indeed a hint of a religion connection here, but what comes to you first is the story told to you back in Ahoyhoy regarding a certain priestess and her crew of devotees. The tortles told you they somehow earned a great degree of reverence from the people of Ahoyhoy, to the point the tortles erected a temple to the captain priestess' deity some 90 or 100 years ago. The captain and the other survivors took residence in this temple, which became known by the locals as Dangwaru. The connecting pieces are too obvious for this to be a coincidence. This must be the ship from the tale.
It is obvious by their reaction that both Yulmiath and Kairus are interested in the glinting object below. Yulmiath takes a careful look, examining the item from afar and calculating his approach. From what he can see, there seems to be nothing blocking his direct way to the item, which is simply hanging on a broken piece of wooden railing as if the ship itself was hanging on to it with its last strength.
Hun notices the look on his sailing companions' eyes and requests they help him with the aft of the shipwreck before they go swimming toward the bowsprit. Kairus, however, had already begun swimming before Hun finished his request and Yul his analysis. The triton has no trouble reaching his prize and is perhaps a bit surprised when it turns out to be another amulet. This one depicts twin waves crashing into opposite directions. It is made of silver, which is tarnished by time. The bard swims back to his companions and shows the amulet for all to see (peek into the spoiler below).
Yulmiath retroactively spits on the ground as if a bad taste has entered his mouth when he makes the mental connection between the name of the ship and Umberlee.
On seeing the new amulet clasped in Karius' hand, Yul suspects it has a link to the Sea-***** herself. Religion - 7
Counting off on his fingers he runs through the slightly too convenient manner in which it was discovered.
"Found close to a ship bearing her name - check, made to look like its somehow related to the sea - check, way too conveniently found - check. Any of you want to spend some time with that, figure out what it is, fine by me. But if that has come from her hand or touched her power, it will be full of malice and spite and will just be looking for an opportunity to betray you."
Finding himself becoming far too animated as he spoke, Yulmiath stops and collects himself. Smashing something up at this point would certainly help him feel better, someone mentioned something about that, right?
Gripping his greataxe, he heads towards the aft of the ship, eager to splinter some wood. Athletics - 15.
Happy like a fish in the water (that he partially was) Kairus made an exaggeratedly offended facial expression. "You are wounding every sea creature in the world! Life in the sea is tough, sure, and the sea itself can be ... unpredictable. As the goddess you mentioned. But it builds character!" He tried to polish the amulet against his armour and looked again. "Nice symbol, captures the spirit of the sea! I like it! But we sure need to know what does it do, if anything. Can be just a decoration after all. Would not worry about "too convenient", though. Looks like we just got lucky - the waves washed the thing to the spot, where the sun could at a particular angle make it visible to those, standing in a particular spot. We happened to be those "those". Pure luck!" If anyone could detect amulets abilities right away, he was ready to hand the thing over, but if not - could keep the shiny thing around his neck until there will be time to properly examine it.
Kairus watched Yulmiath taking his disapproval with the vintage ship hull, wincing with every blow."A very nice hole. Very impressive. See what I mean about the character? The very look at the symbol brought you in the appropriate mood." "Well, let's see what's inside?" The triton peered into the darkness.
Turning from his work at the ships hull, Yulmiath turns to Karius, closes his eyes for a long moment, as if counting to ten, opens them, and fixes the triton with a hard stare. Taking a hand from his greataxe, it drops to the memento of the Wagtail hanging at his waist, he speaks in a measured, steady tone.
"Sea creatures do not normally take your prayers and offerings then exercise their terrible power to sink your vessel and drown your crewmates. Ain't no fish that would do that. Little ones might come close to a boat thinking food. Big ones might like to come closer to those in the water thinking food. Either way, you know what you're getting and what you need to do. Not. With. Her."
Yulmiath spits on the ground again.
"You like the thing so much, you keep it. But consider yourself warned."
Turning back to smashing a Yulmiath sized hole in the side of the ship, the dragonborn swings his greataxe with renewed fervour.
"I can name a thing or two in the sea that would not only slowly kill you but enjoy every second of your suffering." Kairus's tone was so serious, even grim, it was hard to believe the voice was coming from the same man. He immediately lightened up, though. "Fortunately, most of the land-dwellers never meet those. Sailors do fear Umbelee,"(Kairus spent enough time on the surface and particularly on the ships, to know that and witness all kinds of superstitious nonsense related to appeasing the gods) "but this is part of the deal, as I see it. And if the thing proves to be dangerous, we can always through it back into the water. Now, about that hole..."
After getting the initial surprise and agitation in seeing Kairus swim off on his own, Hun waited with baited breath for the Triton's return. Though it is not long after it that the kobold looks exasperated with Kairus to the point of sighing and shaking his head. "The simpleness of youth."He muttered, managing to sound both annoyed and amused all at once. Nothing is either way offered by the Kobold on the subject of the amulets potential abilities... if asked, even if only in a questioning look. But rather, he would dismissively suggest a longer look back at the camp site when time permitted it, all but suggesting it be kept for the time being. He drifts off in thought at that point, half listening to the exchanges to follow, but only really focusing on the present again when directly called for.

Kairus returns with his trinket, fostering distrust and surprise on Yulmiath and Rhogal, respectively. Once it is clear no one is responding to his suggestion of an immediate analysis of the trinket, not even Hun, the triton makes a point by wearing the amulet. At first, it simply feels like a new piece of jewelry, albeit tarnished. A moment later, Kairus can feel the slightest magical tingle around his neck.
Yulmiath would know that the trinket indeed depicts the holy symbol of Umberlee (no roll needed given his backstory). The dragonborn and the triton go back and forth for a bit, but the conversation eventually dies down and the barbarian dives into the water to fulfill Hun's earlier request. The rotten wood gives way easily, and a hole leading into the aft portion of the ship is created after only a couple of strikes. A quick pick inside reveals pieces of furniture, tapestries, trinkets, and other potential entry points such that creating a new hole might not have been entirely necessary. It doesn't look like it has been ransacked by the tortles like the other wrecks the group visited so far. Note, however, that the interior explorable portion corresponds to no more than a small room. The rest of the ship has been destroyed.

He spots nothing of concern at this moment.
-> Quick note here: Krodhen and Rhogal are standing on a piece of the wreck that is partially submerged. Water is reaching their shins and/or knees. Kairus and Hun are leaving this same spot and swimming towards Yulmiath, who is completely underwater. In the low tide, the wreck is not too far below the surface.
Down below, Yulmiath continues to peek into the aft castle. His curiosity is intense enough for him to begin making his way into the wreck even before his companions reach him again.
