With every second that passes with the group not compiling treasure to offer to the rocky creature, tensions rise, muscles tense, and anticipation for battle builds. Hun makes it clear that their best option might indeed be to fight, and Yulmiath agrees. When Kairusbegins casting a reducing spell, the fight breaks out.
ROLLING INITIATIVE:
Kairus: 17 (7)
Rhogal: 10 (10)
Hun: 15 (19)
Krodhen: 17 (10)
Yulmiath: 6 (8)
Eeyal: 11 (05)
Disadvantage for Rhogal, Hun, and Krodhen in that order: 22, 8, 8
Rhogal, still suffering with volcanic ash tries throws some a cloud of purple spores creature's feet, hoping some will stick to it, trying not cough as he cries out, "Amytheytina!" (faerie fire DC 13, in a 20 ft square with corners at CB-95, CE-95, CB-99 and CE-99)
(OOC: Ah~ Takes me back to when either Grx or another had turned into a Hybrid one in the trials game. Good time, goood time~)
"Shoot! Wait! No matter... I've been waiting to try this out! Mr. Thicc! Get into flanking position at coordinates CB-97, open frontal hatch, and keep that thing from slipping into the ground!!" He commands. Though knowing it would take the construct a moment to comply, Hun rushes into ahead, seeming to take on a more protective position in front of Eyal while pointing a spear at what at first would be empty space.
But, the moment Mr. Thicc complied as order, angling his chest incidentally so that the cavity faced only the Xorn and the wall off to the side of it, Hun presses a switch on the haft of his weapon, remotely triggering some internal launcher within Mr. Thicc, as soon the spider nest shaped egg would be sent flying at high speeds for the elemental. Immediately after, the construct is upon the Xorn, trying to lock down enough limbs if not its torso to keep the creature from escaping.
Movement(Hun): To CE-98.
Action:Ready to cast Catapult, launching spider next at Xorn, When triggered, Xorn needs to make a Dex Save(DC 14) or take 12 bludgeoning damage. No damage on a success. Regardless of success or failure, next will also take the same amount of damage.
Trigger Condition: Immediately after Mr. Thicc opens his chest, exposing the nest.
Bonus Action: Command Mr. Thicc to Grapple the Xorn - Athletics: 20.
Movement(Mr. Thicc): To CB-97.
Action(Mr. Thicc): See above Bonus Action.

"What....really!" he says as the decision is taken to fight. Figuring he is not going to be useful in this state, Krodhen reaches inward and focusses some divine energy (Action:Lay on hands) to purge the ash from his system, then advances to confront the beast (CD98), reaching for yet more divine guidance to seek advantage in the fight to come (Bonus Action: Vow of Emnity) as he closes in

Bonus Action: RAGE!
Striding forward towards the Xorn (CB,98), small sparks of static electricity seem to emanate from his body, filling up space around him. Taking his greataxe, Yulmiath attempts to turn the Xorn into a bipedal creature with a reckless attack.
Attack: 19 Damage: 9
(OOC The Xorn also need to succeed on a DC13 DEX save or take 5 lightning damage, half damage on a success.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kairus definitely released his spell before his turn, triggering the attack (who knew the creature is so sensitive to magic!) but joined the fight without waiting for results. Right now it was important to keep the creature here.
"Hey, ugly. How about you pay us to tolerate your presence?"He added a mocking whistle to the words (Vicious Mockery for 4 Wis save 15)
"Way to go, Yul! Pluck that deformed anemone!" Shouted Kairus now encouragingly (Bardic Inspiration on Yulmiath) ready to deflect a possible attack. He had a feeling the creature did not like him. (Cutting Words on ready)
Rhogal is the first one to pull the trigger, launching a burst of purple spores in an area that should only hit the enemy. Unfortunately, the druid's aim is a little off and the burst of spores falls short of reaching the rocky creature.
Taking in the point of no return, Kairus releases the reducing spell he had been holding for the last few seconds. Much like the druid's spell, the bard's also misses its mark, serving only to infuriate the fanged lump of soil and rock.
Showing a bit of surprised as the group decides to escalate things, Krodhen decides to call on his divine favors to cleanse his lungs (Lay on Hands), and mark the enemy with his sense of revenge (Channel Divinity: Vow of Enmity).
Hun takes a moment to hatch a plan with Mr.Thicc. Soon thereafter, both master and construct move to their designated coordinates and enact such plan. Mr. Thicc angles his chest at the monster, which then opens to reveal a nest of spiders. in turn, the nest gains sudden velocity and shoots out toward the nearby wall. Unfortunately, that is all that the nest hits: the wall. As the nest is smashed, a multitude of tiny little spiders takes over the area, introducing a swarm of them to the brawl {CD-99}.
Unlike the party's paladin, Yulmiath shows enthusiasm for the fight ahead. The dragonborn roars into a battle fury (Rage), and swings his axe at the creature. The weapon bounces off it without causing any visible damage. What's more, the little bit of static energy building around the barbarian misses the creature, jumping instead to the ground beneath it.
His first spell having failed, Kairus changes strategy. He laces an insult with some basic magic and watches as one of the creature's eyes blinks in pain. (Xorn takes 2 psychic damage.)
As usual, the bard finds a spare second to encourage one of his companions to do better. This time, Yulmiath is the recipient of the compliment (Bardic Inspiration).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: Ooh... They go right now!)
The elemental enemy registers in the spiders' senses as nothing more than a patch of ground or soil. Therefore, they move instead to swarm the next closest source of potential food: Hun. They occupy the same space as the kobold {CE-98}.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Despite earning some animosity from the creature, Kairus watches as it instead aims its attacks at the Snacker who is right up its business. Three sets of claws slash across Yulmiath's chest, before the fangs join the flurry.
-> Claws vs Yulmiath(Reckless Attack,Deflect Attack): Attack: 26Damage: 12 (11,9)
-> Claws vs Yulmiath(Reckless Attack): Attack: 26 Damage: 13 (26,12,Nat20)
-> Bite vs Yulmiath(Reckless Attack): Attack: 21 Damage: 15 (25,13)
Despite Kairus' insult still bothering the creature as its first set of claws come down, the attack still draws blood from the dragonborn. When the second attack comes forth, it is Mr. Thicc's turn to lend a literal hand, which deflects the incoming claws. From that point own, Yulmiath only has his own recklessness to count on regarding his defenses, and the result is as bad as it could be expected. Yulmiath is bloodied. (Yulmiath takes 14 slashing and piercing damage.)
-> Delayed athletics check against Mr. Thicc's grapple attempt: 23 (11)
Next, the creature tries to sink into the earth but is prevented to move by Mr. Thicc's grip.
"Nuuu! My plan foiled! Curse that disturbingly nimble piece of abstract art!"Hun yelled, before slamming the butt of his Yklwa into the side of the wall. The spear tip then splits apart and gives way to a hose that Hun immediately directs down into the main mass. "Die vermin!" With that, a jet of white foam splashes onto the mass, freezing the weaklings of the bunch and chilling the kobold's feet quite a bit. But any discomfort goes ignored in favor of barking out, "Stay focused on the Xorn! It's ferocity is not to be underestimated! I'll deal with these my own way well enough!"He further asserts before commanding Mr. Thicc to drive and hold the Xorn on its side against the ground.
Action: Cast Nitro Foam, inflicting 4 of Cold Damage on a failed Con Save(DC 14).
Bonus Action: Command Mr. Thicc to Knock Prone the Xorn - Athletics: 6. Burning Inspiration if allowed to make the above check at adv: 12.
Getting annoyed at the ash in his lungs, he takes out a morel, utters a strained "Morchella..." that makes it glow and consumes it. Doing this clears his lungs an, which allows him to focus better. With this renewed focus, he taps his staff on the ground with a bold "Pannellus!" activating the fungus within.
As others appear at least a tidbit hesitant to respond to earlier claims, Hun takes it upon himself to add, "While I have some doubts the three-eyed punk over there is the greedy sort, they are a bit of a biggun.
