“We should deal with the wolves first I think, last thing we need is them being released at our backs.” Mau nods in agreement with Krull “The quicker we return the less time they have to prepare their defences. Let’s hope they think the water dealt with us.”
Edryd nods, "I shall guide the way as the moon guides a ship to shore."He unbuckles his shield grasping it firmly in one hand and will advance into the cave as the water dies down. He listens carefully to the darkness for signs of traps or other lurking dangers. If he finds nothing and so long as he is not stopped by his companions he will lead the party toward the wolves. He tries to remain quiet but finds it very difficult.

Rabbit keeps it to herself that the moon is a fickle guide for ships, but follows in after Wolfe. She tries to remain quiet and keeps an eye out for anything that might be following them. (Stealth: 20, Perception: 15)
Mau follows the the party into the caves directing them through the caves towards the wolves cavern. Following the example of the others he continues to trying to be quiet as possible.
You all enter the cave, Edryd in the lead this time. He stumbles around a bit and sees no signs of trouble. You get to the steps and you all hear the wolves, loudest to those of you in the front but even in the back you can hear them. Edryd steals a glance around and sees a wolf about 10 feet from him, at the length of its chain. It growls low and bears it’s teeth. You, Edryd, can see in the back of the room a marie tunnel leading upwards into darkness.
While sounding ferocious and smelling terrible, the wolves do not pull at their chains...yet.
Krull hears the low growl and responds in a same way bearing his teeth at the wolves..he has ready his javelin to throw at the first wolf that ll try to attack them
Remember to look at the map posted earlier, it applies to all of you now, either from your own perceptions or from Mau and Rabbit having described it. The trail is narrow but you could be in the stream if you choose - it’s not that deep and you can see where the eddies and deeper water is. Though it never gets deeper than 3 feet in any section.
Seeing the wolves chained and not attacking Wolfe looks to the others. "Perhaps we could just leave them here. I would prefer to not put down a defenseless animal. Let's take the tunnel to the left up ahead. Hopefully whatever we run into there is not prepared for a visit." Wolfe suggests whispering, motioning for Edryd to make the call on how to proceed.
Edryd, The wolves watch as your rations fly in the air and land between them. They all go for it at once. They are very distracted and won't notice you at all if you were to enter the room. However, are you still wanting to go on and to the opening on the left?
"Ah, seems the little dogs just needed a bit of food!" He whispers as he hunkers down deciding to proceed into the room with the wolves moving carefully but quickly to see what lies beyond.

If Edryd decides to go for the tunnel on the other side of the wolf cave Wolfe ushers the others along, trying to cross the cave quickly before the wolf pack is finished with their meal.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mau posts himself at the corner of the wolves den entrance keeping himself low and hidden while keeping an eye out on the main passage way for any sign of goblin (or stream) activity.
If the party finds another exit to the room he will leave the post and join them,
[okay forget what I wrote before. Sorry gang! We can move back to where Ed threw the rations in. Edryd will be able to get in no problem, but each of you will have to throw in a ration to expect the same and everyone roll an animal handling check ]
*edit - I should mention that it’s not strictly required to give up a ration but it will effect things if you don’t.
Krull seems to be impatient "less talking more chopping I say!the more we stay here the better they will be prepared "

Edryd takes one of his rations of dry meat and throws it as far as he can to the wolves hopefully distracting and maybe quelling thier hunger for now.
He shrugs and moves back to the main hallway and left tunnel as Wolfe suggested.

Edryd, roll an animal handling check to see whether the wolves go for what you've thrown them, or are angered by you intruding into their territory...
