Vethna is already in the eastern chamber. She examines the ceiling, looking at the cracks to see if they look like someone could fit through them to get out, even if it required a swim.
As the party makes its way east (speak now if you don't plan to follow), Glabbagool moves over behind you to block the entrance to the eastern passage. Through his form, some of you (Tanis and any others keeping watch) can see a black mass coming out of the hallway that Vrah just left.
Vethna, the cracks in the ceiling are probably about a foot wide right now and you can see chunks of rock and earth breaking loose as the water is streaming through. There are cracks spreading across the ceiling and it looks like you could speed this process up, but of course that will also increase the flow of water. With Glabbagool partially blocking the exit from this chamber (you don't see any passages other than the one you entered by), the water is backing up and the level is starting to rise even faster. It's getting close to three feet high in here right now. Shuushar has picked up Stool to keep the myconid above the water.

Petmailer casts dancing lights to move around the chamber and look carefully as to which way could be an exit. “Exit blocked and water pouring in. We need to figure this out quickly!”

"At this point, there's no turning back. We need to break open the cracks and speed up the flow of water. Create holes big enough for all of us, even the biggest, to swim through once all the way submerged. Unless we want to wade and fight our way back out past whatever that black thing is beyond Glabbagool. If it's a river or lake pouring in, we can swim to the surface."
Tanis tries to sound more certain than he feels.
Survival to guess at whether there is likely some bounded body of water that is pouring in, where we could swim to the top: 13 Perception (same): 9
"Swim to the surface?" Phodoxia moans. "That could be miles! We'll drown!"
As small as she is, her feet are already barely touching the bottom of the passageway that the group is holed up in. She pushes off and swims to Vrah, grabbing hold of handfuls of his fur at his waist, which is all she can easily reach.
"Pick me up!" she says. "Hold me up there and I'll widen those cracks so we can get through!"
Vethna nods as the others start working to break away parts of the ceiling. "It may be a lake, and we may drown swimming out, but we will definitely drown down here, so I see little choice but to give it a try." She would then climb one of the walls and use her rapier to try to help widen cracks.
I hadn't posted an image of the last room. In response to the question in the message thread, you think a Thunderwave spell would risk bringing the whole ceiling on top of you. You could aim it above the party, but a 15 foot cube would fill almost the entire room you're in. All that rock could come down with a wall of water behind it. You feel certain some of the party would take damage at best and at worst, you might all end up trapped under rock and unable to swim up out of the water.
With a couple of you hacking at the ceiling, the cracks are starting to widen. They are reaching the point where some of the smallest of you could probably fit through them, but right now you'd be swimming against a major current. The room is filling up faster, especially with Glabbagool blocking most of the exit. He has squeezed part of the way into the hall behind you, curious as to what's going on.
You think what you'll have to do is hold your breath and let the water fill the room so that it stops pouring in, then swim up through the crack and hope the water above isn't too deep. The strongest of you (Derendil, Vrah) might be able to push your way through, but right now the cracks probably aren't big enough for you.
The way I'm going to judge this is to treat it sort of like a constitution ability check. Roll a d20 and if you get a number lower than your constitution score, you're able to hold your breath while you exert yourself to get out. If you are proficient on con saves, you can add proficiency to your constitution score to make it easier to pass. If you want to use anything like guidance or bless, I'll let you add that to your con score.
Derendil will help clawing at the ceiling, tearing out chunks of rock. As long as the others continue, you'll have a large enough crack for any of you to get out. If you want to take any precautions (set up a buddy system, tie yourselves together with rope, etc.) you have a few minutes to do that.

Assuming Vrah helps by lifting her up, Phodoxia is attacking the cracks judiciously with her crowbar, widening them.
As the water pours in, she gasps to Vrah, "Get Shoowaa! He's small! We've got to stay together!" Once the cracks are wide enough, she stows her crowbar and will look for, and try to get hold of, her goblin friend.
Constitution check (Phodoxia's Con score is 14): 1

Kisiki also has [trait] hold breath [/trait]
"Hold Breath" You can hold your breath for up to 15 minutes at a time.
Can't remember how to link traits right now, and I need to run so I can't look it up lol.
If the swim turns out not to not take too long for him, he can remain in the water for 15 minutes with his light and make sure everyone makes it out, even if they lose their breath.
Vrah easily picks up Phodoxia and offers his arms to any of the other smaller folk that want help. Then will help tie them to his body to make sure the rush of water does not flush them away. Once everyone is secured that wants to be secured he will help dig out the ceiling and then will hopefully swim as quickly as he can to the surface following along behind Kisiki.
Looks like Phodoxia over-exerted herself working on the crack, but as Vrah is holding on to her, he'll make sure she makes it to the surface.
Once you get through the crack, you feel yourself being swept along. It's a short swim up to the surface, but it's a little disconcerting when you first come out since it's hard to tell how deep the water is. You are floating in an underground river that's about 20 feet wide and ten feet deep. It's flowing through a large chamber. One by one, your heads pop up above the surface. Shuushar is perfectly at home in the water and he made sure stool makes it out. Derendil is not happy about being soaked, but he has made it through as well. He climbs up onto a dry shelf that is next to the river and shakes off like a dog trying to get the water out of his fur.

Tanis attempts to hold his breath and help any stragglers up. He knows he is not particularly strong, but he hopes that he can help stragglers, his slender form allowing him to fit through a smaller hole.

Vethna is not at all concerned about the water issue, though she does help the others in widening the cracks as much as possible. As she has no need for air, the water poses no threat to her.
Deathless Nature: You don’t need to breathe.
She makes sure everyone makes it out of the chamber though, watching for anyone who is unable to hold their breath long enough to make it to the top of whatever body of water is above them.
Phodoxia swallowed some water and is coughing that up, but Vrah was able to get her out of the cave, up to the river and to the shore. The current of the river is moving fairly quickly, but there are plenty of places to climb out onto the bank.
As soon as everyone is safely above-water, Vethna strikes out for the nearest shore. "Over this way, let's get onto dry land." She calls out as she directs everyone to the shore.
Vrah swims to shore following along behind Vethna and then as soon as he can stand he will and continue to help the others to shore by reaching out to grab them and pulling them along. Once on land himself he will untie those attached to him and gently help them to the ground as well.
"That was fun, let us never do it again." He states as he sits down and starts to twist his clothes so they dry out.
