Kisiki steps out into the tunnel, arms above his head, rat-skull bathing his crimson scales in the soft glow of the sun. "Disciple of Gruumsh the One-Eyed Conqueror, He who Never Sleeps, we should speak. Come in under the light."
"Do you think me a fool, scaly one? I'm fine where I am. I appreciate you making yourself an easy target though. You seem to be a long way from home. Don't see many of your kind below ground."
"We are not going to leave this secure camp site." Vethna informs the orc in a no-nonsense tone. "There is no advantage to do so, and, frankly, it gives us the superior position if you push a fight with us." She hopes her companions have sense enough to get back under cover. "We are simply seeking a safe place to get to, either Neverlight Grove, or someplace like that, but, for now, we are simply fleeing drow that had us prisoners." She pauses to see how the orcs react to what she has said so far.

Vrah steps just out from the entrance, standing to his full height, battleaxe held loosely at his side, "Been days since camp has been used, I not see any signs claiming this camping spot for orcs. You stated you have no quarrel with bugbears, move on or quarrel you will have."

Kisiki stops channeling the light of his god, but remains planted in the tunnel. "I know your god, Orc. You have seen who we are, and how many, and you know now that I serve Semuanya, chief of all gods. Gruumsh demands victory; you will not win today. Come in under the shadow of this red rock as allies and collaborators, or elseleave."
The orcs talk amongst themselves for a minute, then the leader calls out "As Gruumsh says, 'more orcs means more power.' I have heard others say 'there is strength in numbers.' Means the same thing. If you are truly enemies of the drow, perhaps we share this place for a night. We have seen many deadly creatures in our time in these tunnels. They care not if you are orc or elf. They only see meat. More swords and axes can come in handy. Some of us can sleep in that cave, some just outside it and we can have some of both groups on watch together. What say you?"
"Oh, and as for Semuanya... only lizardfolk worship. Gruumsh not even care."
“Only if you acknowledge”, Petmailer says while stepping out of the shadows, “that not all Drow are evil. That one’s race does not define one’s actions. I mean no harm to you, I pledge that I will not harm you, hell if a spider attacks you I may defend you! But I will defend myself and my friends if needed. So I want you to acknowledge that, and we can stay here together, in peace.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
“Sure, happy as can be. (sarcasm) Come in while we attend to our wounded. Perhaps we can share tales and learn from one another, figure out what the hell is going on.” Petmailer steps out and helps Vrah bring in Sarith, to let his wounds be attended to.

Sarith was bloodied, but not quite down to zero hit points. Getting hit in the back with two javelins shocked him and caused him to stumble and fall. The eye of gruumsh will actually offer to heal the drow as a show of good faith.
Now that the decision to camp together has been made, the orcs remain wary, but they treat you more like rivals than enemies. You can chat with the orcs about the Faceless lord. They haven't encountered any slimes or oozes and have not heard anything about the Facelss lord. But when Petmailer asks about this, the eye of gruumsh is thoughtful. They will tell you of encounters they had with some kobolds who weren't undead, but were acting almost like zombies. They were talking of giving praise to Zuggtmoy.
Listening to this, Fargas chimes in. "Yeenoghu. That's who the gnolls were talking about. They said they were gathering sacrifices for Yeenoghu."
Before going to bed, Shoowaa will create 20 goodberries.
Shoowaa will prep detect poison/disease and locate animal/plant. As soon as he gets up he will ritually cast detect poison/disease and look at the party to confirm what Kiski saw. He then will ritually cast locate plant to find meat fungus.
While you may not know much about them, these names - Yeenoghu, Zuggtmoy, the Faceless Lord - strike fear in your hearts. These are all demon lords from the abyss. One of them having influence here would be bad enough. The fact that there are creatures speaking of all three of them is worrisome.
[OOC: if anyone else wants to roll religion and try for a higher check, I can give more information about the specific demons]
Your detect disease spell confirms that Sarith has some sort of severe fungal infection. You also sense the poison some of you took from the drow camp and some of the orcs also have small vials of poison they use to coat their weapons.
With detect plants, you sense some edible mushrooms in multiple directions from where you are within the 5 mile radius of the spell. It looks like the spell is instantaneous. I'll give you all advantage and a bonus on any foraging rolls for the day. As you travel, you'll remember areas where you sensed the food sources.

Tanis probably would, as a precaution, preserve his last spell slot for the night in case the orcs betrayed the party he needed to cast Hunter's Mark. So he doesn't cast Goodberry the previous night, just eating one of the ones he'd cast the previous day.
He does attempt to venture some uneasy conversation with whichever orc is up keeping watch with him. He is deeply uneasy about the demons, especially considering the strangeness of the demon attack that had allowed them to break free from Velkynvelve. He likely doesn't know much about the specific demon lords, though.

Vethna frowns at Kisiki. She decides to wait to see what the orcs do, but she is not quite certain what Kisiki is up to here.
"Do you think me a fool, scaly one? I'm fine where I am. I appreciate you making yourself an easy target though. You seem to be a long way from home. Don't see many of your kind below ground."
Tanis stays still and silent in the darkness, arrow nocked to his longbow and trained on the orc leader with the eye symbol.
Still invisible to both regular vision and darkvision.
I do not want a fight, but this seems unlikely to end in anything but violence.

Roll persuasion or intimidation depending on the tone you want to use with the orcs.
“I am sorry. I thought canp was abandoned, that it was temporary, not a permenent camp. We seek hidy place from the drow.” Shoowaa will help Vethna.

Vethna persuasion, rolled with advantage due to help action... Is a 24 with advantage, or a 23 without advantage.

"Two drow? Huh. But also Bugbear, Goblins, Quaggoth, fish guy, halfling, mushroom...are you sure you aren't traveling circus?" All the orcs laugh
"Okay good drow. We won't kill you while you sleep. Some drow good. Some orcs bad. Happy now?"
