No not really. I can tell you what a bear had for dinner and just about everything else about it based on its scat... curses and other things magic.... not really my area. Sorry friend.... but I'm not got much else to do. I'm happy to help if I can
“No worries; this isn’t your problem.” Darbakh puffs on his pipe. “What is everyone’s business is money. Coins. You seem to get around in this region. Why is this forest so dangerous, exactly? Every tree is hiding someone, or something, hostile.”

My posting scheduled is irregular: sometimes I can post twice a week, sometimes twice a day. I may also respond to quick questions, but ignore harder responses in favor of time.
My location is where my character for my home game is (we're doing the wild beyond the witchlight).

*The door to the tavern opened slowly and closed with a thud. An orc wielding an axe and shield stepped in and gave a the tables a scan. He found a table near the eastern windows and sat down, rapping the table to get the serving person's attention and then gave a bow. Both as an apology and as thanks.*
*He took a clean looking rag from his pack and then dropped the bag to the floor next to the wall. He gave his face a good wipe before pocketing the rag into his belt. Hadrian was able to clean the road dust off his face but not the weariness. cracking the stiffness of his neck by turning his head left and right seem to do the trick and he was able to relay what he wanted when the serving person came with a knowing nod*
"yeah, grits and meat. any meat is fine. Ale, nay... grog. if you please."
*2 gold coins dropped on the table from the orc's thick fingers and the serving person looked at Hadrian's face. Too much coin for what he asked.*
"Drinks for my friends when they drop by." *was all he can muster before he closes his eyes and leaning back waiting for the next few adventurers to come home, or for the food to come."

Most who frequent this establishment are adventurers like me. We make our coin by taking trips inti the forest in search of treasure.
Tommy leans foward.
The forest is magical. Full of danger yes but also is an endless treasure trove for those of use who risk our lives to seek it.
I'm going to take a trip in a day or so if you want to join. Is why I'm here was hoping to find a crew headed in I could join.
Darbakh doesn’t waste time in answering. “I’m in since you need to know this region, and I need work. I don’t mind smashing some heads.”

Cool
Tommy looks around for anyone else.
Well looks a bit sparse today. What's your back round. Think you and me can tackle a trio on our own?
(OOC: What's your class? Would you like to be admin? I'm a beastmasyer ranger so I can heal and can have my pet be of the land if needed.)
“Background? Well…I smash things. Some more support might be useful if I hit things and you…what do you do, by the way? Also hit things?”
(OOC: fighter/ranger, so kinda just damage + companion like you)

"Mmmm, this could work. You smash up close, I shoot things from afar and heal and we both have a companion.... I like our odds.
I say let's take a short trip in the morning and see how we do. If anyone joins us the more better."
Tommy raises his mug.
"To our future endeavors."
Jetsam returns to town from a brief excursion, coming back with some nice Boots of Flying.

If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
Nope, nothing I want.
Jetsam heads back to the tavern for a rest to attune to his flying boots and nods hello to Tommy.

Jetsam my pal how you been? Looks like you had a good outing...Meet my new friend .... what was your name again?...
Jetsam nods once more. “Been good, you? Yes, it was a good outing.”

“Darbakh,” he says, raising his glass to Tommy and nodding to Jetsam.
