Let's roll for initiative but you can post anytime you have a chance I'll resolve in order of Initiative. Our average level is 5.6 so I'll be using the 5-10 lvl threats. Insan good xp for you Tommy will just be quick with a heal If needed incase something hits real hard
Up to you if you want to use the micros or roll some other way. I'll be using sheet for Tommy and the mircos for the threats
After a night of merry making the morning comes a bit too soon. The sun peaks over the mountains in a glorious display promising a fine cloudless day.
The party members meet at the usual spot for those seeking adventure in the forest. Signing out with the guard on the early shift the gurop sets off stright into the forest choosing to not waste any time on the main trails.
The walk is easy and the conversation light as the party makes its way towards the base of the mountains via a new path. Before too long the party sees a bubbling, smoking lake of lava ahead. Its molten surface swirls slightly. The heat from the lake feels like a physical force pushing you backwards.
Quickly discideing its as good as a place as any to find treasure the party pushes into the heat to start the hunt. Just as they leave the edge of the forest to the lake shore
A sickly sweet smell comes into the air. A foul, green smoke starts to build up in a 30 ft. sphere around the party.
Everyone make a DC 16 consave. On a fail take 11 posion damage.

Darbakh inhales the poison too, and takes half damage with resistance.* He hacks and coughs, and he tries to ask what’s going on, but he’s too disgusted by the smell.
His primal companion, an ugly bat, flies in the sky looking for the source too.

Tommy inhales a bit of posion and launches birdie into the air. A second later he hears birdies call and zeros in on the sorce of the gas, a box of some sort full of mushrooms. He quickly stomps on the mushrooms causing the gas to disappear. But not before Darbakh gets a lunge full as he launches his bat into the air also. Jetsam also getting a bit of a lunge full starts to cough as he trys a d look around but ends up double over hacking away his search not so help full.
Closer by the lake a voice is heard.
Well we'll boys looks like we got some visitors. Let's invite them over for a cuppa of tea shall we.
5 bandits start walking towards the party but stop 20 feet away. Just past a few boulders on either side of the path, of which 2 of the small bandits use as partial cover.
(Apply this on my turn cause I’ll be busy this afternoon)
Jetsam let’s put a dragon-esque roar and draws his longsword in one hand and shortsword in the other (thanks to Dual Wielder feat) and charges into the fray, action surging for a bit of extra hacking.

He then uses his bonus action to command Pendor, his primal companion, to attack. Pendor uses his flyby ability to move into range 20 feet, attack, then move back out 20 feet without provoking an opportunity attack.
