XP Time! 50 XP each for successfully navigating your way around Byting, accepting the reeves' offer, wheedling information out of a bartender, and negotiating for a horse and cart at the stables. Ayoola Nu, congrats on befriending a dwarf in bright yellow breeches who nobody else wanted to go near. Adoy, well done for attempting what no one else has ever done in my D&D career: attempting to educate some earthworms. (Better luck next time!) Ennis, nice going creating and fleshing out a very hospitable hostel. I wish I could go there. Gris, you offer a very wise insight on animal life. Ghorbash, well done in your intimidating of the bartender. That was an unpleasant guy. Kathleen, you have been keeping the adventure in a very cheerful mood. Nice job.
"It's settled!" The dwarf squeaks happily. "We shall leave immediately!"
He settles all the details with Nancy while the two men shake your hands and pass you the reins of the wild stallion. Along with the horse and cart, the dwarf purchases a few necessities. Before long you leave the dirty stables far behind, as you head back towards the center of the town. The dwarf, who seems to have taken a liking to Ayoola Nu, is chattering away happily about trivialities such as the silver production in the Darkwaythe's and the latest trends in dwarf fashion. He is very pleased to have found six dependable protectors.
"The name's Dwinkle Glittergold, by the way. Never did catch yours."
"Ennis Tiernay, sir dwarf," Ennis replies, making an effort to be cordial while still avoiding looking at the dwarf's trousers as much as possible. "A sailor by trade for some years now, though for the time being more of a blade-for-hire."

"I'm Kathleen Burns; my friends call me Kathleen. It's been er- nice meeting you." Kathleen turns back to enjoying the scenery, even if it's just the city, while whistling a tune. (Performance? 7) She whistles as best she can but the gaudy trousers are definitely bothering her.

The dwarf notices nothing suspicious. He is very used to people avoiding eye contact, though he attributes this to an inflated sense of his being intimidating.
The clattering cart now takes you to the central market. The din is incredible, seeing as there are only about seventy people in the market at this time (12:00 in the afternoon), but, judging by the sound, there could be seven hundred. People haggle over fish, dogs bark, children scream, and, even though you are used to the terrible smell of fish that penetrates every area of the town, you can't help but gag a little at this new, magnified odor of rotting specimens.
The marketplace is a large, dirty area, overhung by tottering wooden houses, which border it in a roughly circular shape. Dwinkle squeaks out a question, at the same time covering his nose with a spotted handkerchief.

"As much as love roaming around on a cart, we do have a job to do so we best get going." She adds, "Some fish sounds lovely" as she hears Gris's suggestion.
Kathleen is having a wonderful time riding on the cart. The horrible smell and the horrible pants do very little to dampen her spirits. She happily hums a tune while taking in the scenery. (Performance: 4) Her singing is not that great but it's not downright terrible either.
"What!?" Kathleen stops singing in shock. "But fish is the perfect adventuring food" implying that there are specific foods that have to be eaten on an adventure.
Kathleen answers, "Fish tastes a hundred times better when it is cooked by campfire under an open night sky. Especially when it's a moonless night lit only by the sea of stars in the dark blue sky." She says this with a childlike innocence you would never expect to come from a grown elf. The smile that momentarily faded from surprise returns to her face. You've seen it so much that you could swear it is a permanent part of her face. You get the impression that she treats adventures like an extremely long version of a camping trip.

Adoy agrees, happy to have secured the freedom of the horse and to be getting on the road.
Looks like we just need Ghorbash and Ennis to agree to the plan.

Ennis nods his agreement to the plan of going with the dwarf, as it seems like the best option for now.
Ghorbash
"OK. Let us go."

"Me Gris...well...Hello" and Gris tries to smile wide (ooc like in britiah animation Chicken Run)
"I am called Adoy. though my name was much longer long ago, But Adoy is all I remember and thus all that remains."
Love the Chicken Run reference.

Gris "maybe we should get som fish? There is nothing better then a fresh fish for dinner! Do you want some mr Dwinkle?"

"Can't stand fish." Dwinkle says abruptly, taking you aback. "Nasty, stinky, wet things."

"It rots and stinks," Ayoola says confused. "How's it perfect for adventuring? That would be jerky, no?"
