Brix gathers his alchemy supplies and starts to follow several of the group to the orchard when he realizes that Thom and Garmuk are planning to go to the constable. "Say you two...we should really stick together. Also if this constable is as troublesome as they say it's probably best to leave him alone till absolutely necessary. So what do you say? Come talk to Gabe?" Urges Brix.

Garmuk tosses his hands up. Ok Garmuk go this way now, can stop food on way inn food bad.

OCC: looks like everyone is headed for the orchard.

Thom "we could even go talk to him after if we need to."

Redtower’s orchard is just outside the southwest wall, consisting of several neat, well-maintained rows of apple trees surrounded by protective hedgerows. A small house and storage shed nestle close to the wall where Cibor and Eva live with their son, Gabe. 

(On to the orchard)

As expected, Soren is transfixed by the ordered rows of fruit tries and hedgerows, taking a few inadvertent steps towards the orchard and staring.

The wildness of nature tamed.  Both fascinating and impressive, yet a little disturbing.

He shakes himself out of his reverie in time to say:

"Let's pick a few of us to speak to the family and to the son, Gabe.  Having nine adventurers all show up at the front door might be a little intimidating.  Maybe some of us can hang back, ready to support if needed.  I'm happy to be one of the ones to move up and speak unless others want to."

If there are any apples, Garmuk will start picking and eating them. 

Call Garmuk if need. While eating he will look around the orchard for anything off.

Perception 6

The door to the modest cottage opens, and standing in the doorway is a short, heavyset woman wearing a grey dress with a stained apron. Her face conveys curiosity, that quickly changes to joy. The scent of apple cider wafts from inside, along with the smells of fresh cooked bread, and sausages." Cibor! We have guests, get out the good mugs!" Eva calls back into the house. She then proceeds to usher you inside all the while chattering nonstop. 

"What brings you to Redtower?"

" You must take some apples. They make the best apple pie."

" Did you know that my great  great, great, second, cousin on my fifth cousin's uncle once visited Zoebeck?" 

" Adventuring must be thrilling with all that adventuring."

Soren gives Eva a big smile and moves as if to join her.  But still, he's been burned enough times that, trying not to be uncharitable, he draws on nature spirits' Guidance to try to guess whether Eva's intentions are honestly friendly or something else is going on.  Nature feels strange here by the orchard with so much order imposed, but still the presence of plants and insects and the breeze sharpen his mind.

Insight with Guidance:  16 + 4 

Thom would stay with Garmuk "Garmuk, you do know that what you are doi g is stealing, which is illegal?  No wonder this Constable doesn't like adventures."

Grubfingers would have insisted on going to the cottage "people love Grubfingers, they will love me."

Once with Eva Grubfingers would talk with her "Apples sound good right now, but they look like they are still ripe.  Zoebbeck is a great place! My mom's second cousin's great aunt's best friend is the only other goblin to leave our home, Buzzballs was his own choice."

Garmuk looks a Thom. Garmuk wanted apples more then tree so it ok. Only stealing if tree wanted apples and try stop Garmuk. Garmuk picks another apple. See tree don't care tree give to Garmuk freely. 

Thom becomes visibly frustrated at the response "It's not the tree your stealing from.  The tree and its apples are owed by the people who own the Orchard, you are stealing from them.  Just because they have yet to pick it doesn't mean they don't need it."

Loving the dialogue. On a side note, I will be at a family reunion today, so i won't be able to post anything until Sunday evening. Have a fun and safe weekend Guys!

Mmmm Garmuk understand. These people work for tree. Force take care tree then tree give food for work.... So Garmuk is stealing wages. But Garmuk does not understand part own tree. If they work for tree how own it? Garmuk think you wrong. Tree own people and tree give Garmuk apple so Garmuk no steal. 

Garmuk will smile at Thom.

Soren smiles at Garmuk's unusual logic and finds that he can't really disagree.  And Eva doesn't seem too upset...

He turns his attention back to the seemingly kindly and talkative woman, trying to get a read on her.  (See Insight roll above).

Fenrir calls back to Garmuk “Come on Garmuk, put those apples in the basket there and come in here please. “ (said like you’d call a child in from playing)

Ursa, introduces himself to the lady of the house. “Hello ma’am. My name is Ursa and we herd tale that there was some type of ghost or haunting problem around your orchard. “

Garmuk looks at the basket and then the apples. Put the apples in his pack then goes to the others.
