OOC: If the party isn't sure where to go next, I'd suggest regrouping on all the information learned thus far, it's been a long investigation over a long period of time in real life.
Just before we leave to regroup, Hex would give a brief description of the other missing books and ask Aya if she can think of any connection the book may have with them.

Aya pulls back in surprise. "You're saying I'm not the only one? To be honest, I feel somewhat relieved," she says. After thinking for a moment, she answers, "I don't see any connection based on what you've described. Ren o' the Blade is rather famed around these parts but I don't recall ever hearing that he had an interest in the Weave."
"Thank you for your help Aya. We may be back to ask you some questions later. Until then." Hex nods goodbye to Aya and if everyone is willing, leads the group somewhere nearby so they can talk about the information they've collected.
"Hm, from what we've gathered so far, the only connection I've been able to come up with is that perhaps all the books were originally from collections held in the library. Agin didn't say his book was from the library but he mentioned his family having only had it for the past 2 centuries of the 7 centuries its been around... maybe it was in the library before his family came into possession of it?"
Briny follows everyone out, waiting until the door has closed behind them before saying to Hex "I didn't find out anything, just what we already knew. That this must be an independent party and it's making both the guilds look bad." When the group stops to regroup she speaks up first. "Well, it doesn't seem like we have much to go on. One broken lock and missing book that everyone has access to and too many potential witnesses that probably were paying more attention to the fights than the bookshelf, one large book with a rudimentary alarm where it was stored- did we ask about broken locks there? And then this last book with no signs of a break-in but, did I hear something about a ward?"
OOC: Feel free to add any additional discussion, but since it's been 2 days since Briny's post I'll move forward.
As usual, Podol Plaza is a hive of activity, with hundreds of people milling about.
You round a corner into a nearby alley. During the silence following Briny's update, an elf steps from the mouth of an intersecting alley and stops in the alleyway in front of you.
"The Welcomers send their regards and have information that you may find useful. Follow me," the elf says with a worried look before ducking back into the intersecting alley.
Briny grips the strap of her backpack with one hand and keeps the other free, held close to the front of her body. She nods at Hex and follows with the group. If they don't take a straight path to their destination She will try to count the turns, pay attention to landmarks, things like that so she can remember the way.

Is it ok to ask for another insight check? It seems like she's trying to tell Sylyra something in this last exchange.
OOC: Of course!

For Sylyra:
Sylyra is unable to deduce anything specific about Aya's latest comments.

OOC: Ready to advance once the next action is taken. If there's nothing else to do at Aya's office, let me know where the party would like to go.

Sylyra narrows his eyes at Aya, feeling like there might be some kind of hidden message in what she is saying, but unable to intuit anything further.

Briny is just waiting, not wanting to interrupt anything. She is ready to follow the group whenever they are all finished here.

Sylyra follows Hex out. He crosses his arms over his chest and clearly looks frustrated as he silently listens to what the others have to say.
OOC: Awaiting any further party discussion and the party's next destination before advancing.

Can Hex do a quick insight check to see if they're lying or maybe why they might be worried?

For Hex:
You can't quite put a finger on it exactly, but notice something is a little off about the elf.

Before we follow the elf, Hex would warn the group, "Something is up with that elf. We should follow them but be on your guard."
