Kass and Maggwyn - You two rush out of the room and stay up against the door to keep it closed. In Maggwyn's hand is the amulet, made of a glistening silver metal, but it weighs far less than it should. In the center of the chain is a disk, only a few coins thick, that has a large diamond ringed with amethysts.
Crannoc - You attempt to push the armor back as you circle around Jasper to give him access to the door.

The tall suit of armor isn't pushed back, but now stands face to face with Crannoc. It strikes towards you with its dagger, that crackles with lightning.
Dagger Attack against Crannoc - Attack: 20 Damage: 9
It then raises its hand and from a gem in the center of its palm a blast of blue energy lashes out towards you. (The dagger attack is piercing and lightning damage.) (If the dagger attack hit, then double the damage from the second attack as lightning shoots through your body, surging when you take damage again.)

(The damage from this attack is force, and if it hits then all other attacks have advantage against you until the end of this creature's next turn.)

Trying not to give ground so as to provide Jasper the room he will need, Crannoc dodges the dagger and then is barely able to divert the blue energy with his wooden shield, not yet needing the Shield spell he had been ready to cast with his free hand using his father's divine soul sorcery.

"That was uh, closer that I liked. Thanks for the help. No, though she did ask for anything like this as well, we are looking for documents. I hope the group upstairs is having luck. Let's sneak back to the main level and see what we can." And with that, Maggwyn heads up the stairs, cautiously not knowing if Miesha has the guards still occupied or not.

Maggwyn and Kass - You creep up the steps and find yourself in the kitchen, then the dining room. You could progress into the door to your right, the door in front of you that leads into the entryway, or to your left through the window you entered from if you were ready to make your escape.
Jasper - You attempt to pick the lock, but you make a slight twist in the wrong direction. There is a small electric shock that courses up your arm. Not only does it cause you to have disadvantage on subsequent attempts, but all of your hair stands straight up.
Crannoc - The two shorter sets of armor waddle to you to strike. (For each of their attacks that hit you take a -2 penalty to your next ability check, attack roll or saving throw.)
Fist Attack Against Crannoc - Attack: 8 Damage: 4

Both Crannoc and Jasper hear a knock on the door (from the outside hallway where they previously were).
As Crannoc dodges both attacks from the shorter armor pieces, the sycamore seedling circles his shoulders in agitation and worry.
The knocking at the door. Will need a sound to distract perhaps... but first have to get to the next room. Looks like the lock stymied the tabaxi for now...
Crannoc takes the disengage action, backing away carefully from the armor. He nears Jasper at the back door and whispers:
"Hear me, Cat-man. I will Misty Step to the next room and can do so twice more. Hold these," (gesturing to the armors) "at bay and I will try to open the door from the other side or at least distract the knocker at the front door with the sound of another large housecat."
So many cats involved. The cat illusion outside earlier and now... I do love cats but this is getting ridiculous! Temuth smiles at my folly.
With that, Crannoc uses his Fey-Touched bonus action Misty Step to teleport to as clear an area as possible on the other side of the locked back door. Ready next turn to fend off further attackers in the next room, open the door from the inside, or create the distracting Minor Illusion as described.
Crannoc - You create the sounds outside, which can be faintly heard through the door. You disappear and appear, stumbling over a couch directly next to where you arrived. You are in an office with a couch, coffee table, a desk, a chair, a rug, and many book shelves. There is also a plush bed to the left side of the room with an wardrobe next to it. Mounted above the bed is a mace of fine craftsmanship. On the far wall is a window to the outdoors.
Miesha - The argument appears to be dying down as more people have gained an understanding of context. Just as this is settling the guards hastily rearrange themselves into a line. You don't understand what they are doing until you see a small procession with Director Alcorda, Vara, and a number of other individuals walking by. A dwarf speaks up from the middle of the procession. "This here is my abode, some of my staff outside." The dwarf is in nobleman's clothes, but he has some armored or more battle-ready components.

(The dagger attack is piercing and lightning damage, and the fist is just force damage. If the dagger attack hit, then double the damage from the fist attack as lightning shoots through your body, surging when you take damage again.)
Realizing he has failed on his attempt at the lock and it's too late to move out of the way of the larger suit Jasper casts an arcane Shield to block its heavy metal fist.
The tabaxi gets ready to Dodge for a bit longer while eagerly awaiting Crannoc potentially unlocking the door.
Maggwyn checks out the window and does not see Jasper or Crannoc, "They must still be upstairs, lets check this next door, quickly. I fear we're taking too long."
She first listens at the door to the right, if she doesn't hear anything, she will quietly open the door. Slowly so she can peek in first.

Maggwyn - Listening at the door, you hear nothing. You slowly open the door and see a cylindrical barrier of silvery light in the center of the otherwise empty room.
The sycamore seedling wobbles on Crannoc's shoulder in agitation. With his free action he attempts to open the door from the inside, just enough to let Jasper through and close it after him. IF that fails due to the lock or some other reason, he casts Message to Jasper, indicating that he should use his final Misty Step to come across since there is a window to the outside here.
IF Crannoc is able to open the door with the free action, then he uses his action to create the Minor Illusion of the housecat-sized animal scampering down the stairs to distract whoever was knocking on the door and try to make them think that is what caused the noise earlier.
Either way, if he is able to see under the door, Crannoc uses his bonus action to Telekinetically Shove any armor he sees 5' away from Jasper to try to free the tabaxi from at least one possible attack of opportunity. (DC 15 STR Save or be pushed 5' away, but hopefully not into another armor).
His next action after that will eventually be to cast Minor Illusion on the window to the outside to make it look just as it is with a still image of what is behind it, to obscure the presence of Crannoc, and hopefully Jasper, inside the room from any onlookers outside.
I should leave the decisions on what to search and what to take (the mace, for example?) to the cat-man, I think...
Seeing nothing in the room but a cylinder of light, Maggwyn leaves the room closing the door behind her. "No documents here, no reason to enter incase something else appears." She heads back towards the entrance, wanting to head through the last door of this floor.
