After Maggwyn's peek above the wall and hasty descent both Aalsan and Jasper approach as well.
Jasper - You scale the wall deftly, but your claw slips and scrapes against a stone. It definitely made a noise, but you don't know who, if anyone, heard it. You peer over the wall and see two robed figures hiding on the wall and three larger figures standing near the wall opposite to you.
Aalsan - You hear a scraping sound around the corner, where Jasper is. You would be concerned that he was noticed by a guard, but out of the corner of your eye you see a pair of cold eyes staring at you. You have their attention, but they remain in hiding.
Crannoc knows he can Message one of his companions within 120'. He thinks of sending the Message to Maggwyn, but he had detected a moment of hostility from the tiefling before thankfully, his eyes-rolled signal of non-aggression seemed to defuse matters and cause her amusement. Still, not wanting to push his luck with her, instead he sends the cat-man Jasper a Message. That one had seemed to enjoy communicating at any opportunity.
He whispers a telepathic Message to Jasper: "Is all well? What do you see? Let us know if you need support or a diversion."
(Jasper can reply telepathically with a whisper if he wants to).
After Maggwyn decends and sees that no one appears to be in trouble, she heads to the meeting spot that Miesha pointed out earlier. She's not sure what to make of what she saw, but waits for everyone to get together before discussing it.
Jasper replies "Life is good! "Very kind of you to ask." "Oh you mean... yes, 2 here, 3 afar, heading back to meet."
He sneaks back towards the meeting place, making sure to either properly replace his hat or at least ensure that his hair is properly managed before arriving if cover is thin.
"What did you see?" Miesha would ask each as they returned. "How many total? They were all hiding? Were they moving at all?" In the first Miesha would do her best to diagram what was described to her to try to get correct positioning and such visualized for all.
Maggwyn adds the three that she saw and describes their locations and how they were acting. "This is a strange area indeed. It's almost as though these people are laying in wait for anyone to try and enter the keep. I think it is time to give them what they are waiting for."
Aalsan lingers for a bit longer, enough to seem like he wasn't rushed, before circling around and returning to where the meeting point and the others were. He was careful to check that whoever those eyes belonged to did not follow. A focused sentry hopefully, one that would not be keen on leaving his or her post without provocation.
"There is a... oh," Aalsan chuckled to himself as he realized he was still in the form of the poor human commoner, shifting quickly back to his city guise of the dark haired, blue eyed elf. "There is a guard in hiding, spotted me immediately as I approached, keeping watch most likely."
While cleaning his claws with Prestidigitation Jasper suggests "I find it is best to approach such things at night." "Maybe a few of us could take out a few quietly and open a gate for the others."
"In the meantime, I highly recommend some napping in preparation."
(OOC: I forget if any sort of gate was described, but also I gather we did not see any smaller entrances like a sally port door around the back, etc.? Thanks!)
"Chicken." Maggwyn addresses Jasper and then turns to the rest, "Sounds to me as though we out number them and also, we are on a deadline, they need their representative from this keep before nightfall. Let's go now and take care of the situation, and find those that are missing."
Jasper puts his hand lightly on his chest and feigns horror and great offense when called chicken. When Maggwyn reminds him of their timeline he replies "so, no naps?"
"I suggest we go through the front gate. I will take the lead," Miesha states looking at the others assembled. "Hopefully I can draw their attention from the rest of you as you spread out and attack as your own strengths allow."
Miesha pauses for a moment, looking each in the eye. "We've not fought together before. We don't know each other's strengths and weaknesses. But if we look out for one another I am sure we can handle this..." Miesha then picks up her spear and shield and gives the group a nod before heading straight for the entrance.
Crannoc listens carefully to the scouts' reports, unable to make sense of what the apparent city humanoids are doing there in the Lonsvell territorial enclosure. He also recognizes the need for haste before sundown and has to smile at the cat-man's proclivity for naps. Felines!
He recognizes a born pack leader when he sees one. He follows a few feet behind Miesha's right shoulder. Reaching out as always for Guidance from nature, this time applying it to himself and his own Perception, watching for attacks or hazards: 24 + 1
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jasper - (There was a front gate, which Aalsan was at, but you saw no other entrances)
(Since I believe you are preparing to attack, you can each position yourself as you would like around the the keep then we will enter initiative)
The keep, which is thirty feet away, is one-hundred and twenty feet on each side and there are (last you saw) two robed figures on the wall above and three inside it. Miesha and Crannoc are walking directly towards the front gate.
Initiative: (to be entered when someone makes a first aggressive action)
Aalsan - 15
Kass - 14
Crannoc - 11
Maggwyn - 23
Jasper - 11
Miesha - 14
Opponent A (set of two) - 8
Opponent B (set of three) - 14
Order: Maggwyn, Jasper, Kass, Opponent A (set of two), Aalsan, Crannoc, Opponent B (set of three), Miesha
Miesha boldly walks up towards the gate. Upon seeing the two robed figured on the wall ((I had missed they were actually on the wall)) she would pause and signal the others to stop once they reached a reasonable hailing distance. ((15 feet away or so?))
"Greetings! We come from Aoswell seeking audience with Lonsvells..." Miesha shouts out as greetings. "It is a matter of urgent importance."
Jasper slinks away to the left of the group, sneaking up to the wall only a short way from of the gate. He hopes to scale the wall and take out any guards providing resistance to the main group, opening the gate for the others if necessary, but will let the verbal exchange out front play out before coming over the top of the wall.
For an uncomfortably prolonged period of time there is silence. The figure nearest to you seems to accept that you are leaving and awkwardly comes out of hiding. In a slow, almost unsure speech pattern they speak. "Hello citizens... the Lonsvells are not taking... audience. Thank you. Please go."
"Actually, yes they are. And you'll let us through to them if you know what is good for you." And Maggwyn heads for the open gate, seeing Jasper up by the wall ready as always and she gives him a wink.
"The needs of the people demand the Lonsvells show their face. So as my friend says, they ARE going to make an appearance. By choice or by force..." Miesha assures all, in her loudest speaking voice. She heads to the gate with Maggwyn, matching her step for step.

Jasper would convey that two robed figures were hiding on his side of the wall and that he could see three standing along the far wall.
(OOC: I'm not sure if we could see if they are armed, armored, etc.)
