Silas will try sacred flame on hobgoblin. Has to pass a Dex check of 12 otherwise it will take 5 radiant damage

The Hobgoblin that disappeared behind the curtain returns through the curtain faces you draws his sword and readies his shield. The hobgoblin who is blocking your entry into the room disengages and moves back beside the other one. They are now standing side by side blocking the curtain.

Back to Vandar, Lothar, Tibern, then Silas.

Lothar

The man advanced with his sword drawn back.  "Oh good.  More to kill," he said as he swiped down hard at the hobgoblin that he had injured previously.  The sword was able to make it pas the defense of the shield and swiped a large gash into the beast's side.  Blood began to trickle from its wounds to the floor below.

Vandar follows Lothar into the room, attacking the injured hobgoblin with weapon and fist.

Attack: 10 Damage: 7

Attack: 22 Damage: 7

Tibern will reload his crossbow and attempt to hit the injured hobgoblin once again.

Hand crossbow:'Attack: 20 Damage: 4

Bless: 3

Silas will stay behind the others and try sacred flame again on the more damaged hobgoblin. 6 damage if it fails its dex check. 

Before Vandar, Tibern or Silas can act Lothar makes his attack which proves to be too much for the creature, the first hobgoblin collapses to the floor dead.

Vandar attacks the second hobgoblin (d4s for bless: 4 4 )

Tibern's bolt buries itself in the wood of the hobgoblins shield.

Dex save: 2

Vandar and Silas quickly dispatch the second hobgoblin.

50 xp each. 

The door at the south end of the room is sealed on this side by a heavy wooden bar. There is no sound from behind either the door or the curtain on the north side of the room which the second hobgoblin ran behind quickly before returning to fight.

Silas would like to look behind the curtain. Slowly pushing it aside with his short sword.

Tibern will stow his hand crossbow and instead draw his rapier, while letting his other hand move to rest on his shortsword. He will then move towards the curtain and attempt to peek inside.

You find an empty area with another door. Behind this door you hear a low growling sound.

Tibern will step back from the door as he hears a growl, slipping to the side of it as he makes a motion with his free hand for the others to be careful if they approach.

What would you like to do?

"Shall we leave this door closed and move onward?" Tibern asks the rest of the party as he keeps a hand near the handle of the door.

"Yes, I've not heard of growling hobgoblins before," Lothar responded.

Vandar nods and moves back south to listen at the barred door in that direction.

Silas agrees, growling isnt something that makes him feel too comfortable.

Tibern nods as he moves to leave the door, joining up with the rest of them.
