Lost Mine of Phandelver (Kolbitr DM)

Lothar relives the beast of it's head before it can manage to reach it's target. The bugbear roars, "Snarl! You've killed him! You will pay for that human!"

Order is Vandar, Bugbear, Silas, Tibern, Lothar.

Vandar is up.

Vandar slashes at the bugbear with his yklwa, following it up with a punch to the nose and a kick to the knee.

Attack: 9 Damage: 5

(Flurry of blows)

Attack: 11 Damage: 7

Attack: 13 Damage: 5

With suprising agility for such a hulking creature the bugbear dodges Vandar's attacks. He then swings his Morningstar at the attacking monk.

Attack: 14 Damage: 8

Silas is up, then Tibern, Lothar and back to Vandar.

Silas will step between the others and cast guiding bolt. 15

Damage 12

Tibern will begin to hum as he focuses on the Bugbear, the tune filling with magis as he casts Dissonant Whispers

The bugbesr must make a dc 14 wisdom save ot take 11 Psychic damage or 5 on a success.

Lothar

The man rears back his greatsword and brings it down upon the bugbear.  The group was working as a well-oiled machine easily dispatching the threats as they come.  Though overconfidence did not work in Lothar's favor as his strike went wide.

(Opportunity attack if the bugbear fails save and moves away to give me one)

Attack: 22 Damage: 7

Vandar throws another flurry of attacks at the bugbear.

Attack: 18 Damage: 8

(Flurry of blows)

Attack: 6 Damage: 7

Attack: 6 Damage: 7

Wisdom save: 13

Silas misses the bugbugbear with his guiding bolt just as Tibern begins whispering his tune. The bugbear screams as he nearly doubles over in pain, his mind crippled by the excruciating song he turns to flee. Vandar takes advantage of the opening and lands a hit on the beast as he turns in the small room. He barrels through the door to the west and turns north exiting the castle the same way you came in. Lothar and Vandar follow him and try to stop him at the exit, Lothar swings wide, but Vandar manages to get another hit with his first attack but misses with his flurry of blows. 

Getting desperate the bugbear lashes out at his attackers. He swings at Vandar with his Morningstar. Attack: 17 Damage: 11

Back to Silas. (Silas and Tibern are left in the castle around where the curtain was torn down.)

Silas raises a finger in the direction of the bugbear. Silas casts sacred flame. Dex save 12 if not damage 7

Silas moves into range and casts. 

Dex save: 14

Tibern will move to follow after the other, readying his crossbow and firing at the bugbear.

Crossbow: Attack: 10 Damage: 9

Tibern's shot goes wide, landing harmlessly in the tall grass of the clearing.

Tibern curses as he misses, waiting for a chance to be able to fire. "Kill it quickly."

Waiting on Lothar and Vandar.

Vandar continues his assault on the creature.

Attack: 18 Damage: 12

Attack: 19 Damage: 6

Vandar lands two more hits on the beast, leaving him bloody and clearly close to out of strength.

Just Lothar left this round.

Lotar struck out again at the hobgoblin and watched as his sword came down hard.

Bringing his sword down on the bugbear Lothar puts the beast out of it's misery.
